It's located in the town of Honokaa. Good quality of vegetables. The poki bowl is yummy. They do have hot food of breakfast and lunch. Variety of desserts for snack and last minute ideas for any gatherings. Lots of alcohol and soft drinks. Selection of greeting cards, variety of gift cards. They do have Western Union (6am-6pm)

The store is a great place. It has the supermarket things and it also has homemade things. The employees are very nice and very helpful. Truly the old style way.

Friday is BBQ plate lunch day.It runs from 10-4PM or until the run out. From $8.99 for the chicken plate plus steamed rice, salad and a drink. The combo plate $14.99 chicken and kalbi short ribs rice, salad and drink.The portions are big enough to share. Unless you don't like to share. Very popular order outside pay inside or pay inside and let them know what you want. They are always busy so plan to wait while it cooks.

Always the friendliest staff and my go to when I don’t want to drive all the way to Hilo. Slightly higher prices than Hilo but not much and always have what o need. Great store for a small town and always a pleasant shopping experience

They have a variety of foods for such a small space! I recommend going if you need those few missing pieces for a recipe or snacks for a party.

Its a friendly local grocery store. Small but sufficient for most necessities including ready made hot foods, cold sandwiches, poke, 🍷 beer and liquor. Western Union. Post office across the street. For full-size grocery stores you can drive 15 miles to Waimea.

Decent stock and availability of products.Pricing comparable-to and sometimes better-than KTA or Foodland.They have an indoor RedBox machine.Their steak plate on Thursdays is good.You can call-in sushi platters that they’ll make and have ready when you need them.Bakery is in-house and good.Staff is friendly and helpful.🤙

Yes twisted youth agreed. People are From community but Not For the community they will turn anything and everything away if you ask. Their answer is always NO and will turn you away unlike Foodland in Waimea customer service they will work something out Malama Honokaa Managment has no thought process compasion nor better judgment. Very weak! Un happy with customer service .

Very good cooked meal (salmon bento, Chicken..), ahi tuna, Taiwanese sushi rolls for good prices. Worth the stop to refuel before hiking!
