Food was so delicious! We tried Philly cheese steak sandwich and pizza.I loved that I had an option to pick my toppings. I ordered one slice it was more like a half of a whole pizza 😅Again, service could have been better but for some reason the guy who was there was not very friendly!Vegetarian options: You can order veggie pizza

Stopped in here after reading another review on our way around the island and it is definitely worth the stop if your in the area. I have never had a pastrami sandwich that good and the chili was amazing, both of which were their special dishes. Super fresh and delicious. The owner even came over and talked with us about how they make the pastrami themselves. Great atmosphere, great people, great local island pub. 10/10.

We were looking for a local pub that felt a little more mainland while we visited the Big Island and enjoyed the local stores and Waipio Valley. This was it. Found it on our first visit to the big island two years ago, and we come back each year when we visit. The food and atmosphere is that good. Homey, friendly, food is well prepared and not greasy like some pubs. Good selection of local brews, and you won't leave hungry. Prices on par with other local eateries.Parking: On street and in the nearby lots of asking l adjoining businesses. All free and close to other shopping and amenities.

Used to be good for takeout pizza... but then they started cutting cost... I hope they fix this... $26 for a Pepperoni pizza with 4 pieces of Pepperoni cut in quarters and scattered .... to be fair they refunded this pizza... but the next few I ordered, I had to remind them to put more Pepperoni on it.. and it was still sparse... please fix this!Update: after quite a while ordered another. There's almost enough Pepperoni now... definitely not what it was before the pepperoni issue...but quite a bit better.Update: $30 for the Pepperoni now...I understand costs are going nuts now... flavor was good... but still the family complained about the amount of Pepperoni... maybe throw a few more slices...

Solid little dive in the old first bank of Hilo building in historic Honoka'a town. You can call in an order ahead of time for pickup. Pizza is popular, one slice is enough for a person, a whole pie is good for a family. The Italian sausage has a good spicy kick to it. Happy hour is 1$ off pupus, the cheese bread with pepperoni is our favorite for a quick bite to eat. Caesar salad is solid. Tater tots are always piping hot. Sandwiches are okay. Recently started opening early for breakfast on NFL sundays, we haven't had a chance to try it but heard good reviews from folks.Weekly karaoke is the biggest draw, live music and open mic nights draw a crowd too. Great for a night out, kid friendly place, stays open later than anywhere else in town. Some of the TVs are showing their age, but it's the only place in town to grab a pint and watch games. Friendly and attentive staff.Parking: Plenty spots on street, a few in front of the hitching post.Kid-friendliness: Keiki friendly, we often see families here for pizza night or karaoke.

It was basically the only thing open in Honokaa but good service, pizza is not bad, we ordered their spiciest one and it was just generic vinegar hot sauce spice. Pizza is not special but good value, and American portion sizes. We had a pizza and greek salad to share.

We used to love getting pizza here. It was the closest to NY pizza we found since we left Queens. Sadly it's awful now. There's been a new owner & the pizza is awful, terrible. The first few under the new ownership had uneven crust & globby sauce. The next few had barely any pepperoni. They comped us one when we called in. The owner then had the staff cutting pepperoni slices in half to make it appear as more. Tonight's pizza just got me super upset. There was hardly any pepperoni, barely any sauce & we nearly gagged on the amount of cheese. Owning a restaurant has got to be mega hard, but serving this for $26 is not cool. I truly hope the owner can get this pizza back to the awesomeness it used to be.

Great bar in the small downtown. Definitely worth a stop in. Good beer selection and great food. Only 10mins to Waipi’o Valley from here so a great place to get lunch on the way in or out. Easy street parking as well.

Great local spot to relax. Have a beer and might even see some live music. Small town feel, service was great,the owner shows he cares about his bussiness. We will be back again, thanks for the great pit stop.

Pastrami sandwich was not what I expected to find here for it was AMAZING. the rye was toasted to perfection and sauerkraut was phenomenal. served with a sauce and horseradish as toppings it really blew me away. cool, casual atmosphere and super nice staff.
