Stopped here for lunch and it was amazing. What a great place for high quality food. Sandwich was huge with focaccia fresh out of the oven, quiche was delicious, fruit was getting delivered from the farm so got some of that too and it was wonderful.Great stop, highly recommended.

You absolutely must stop at this market! The food is phenomenal and the family that runs it is so lovely. They offer a bunch of local products from produce, awesome looking cuts of grass fed meats, kombucha, beers and cocktail drinks from Hawaii, locally made soaps, and a nice selection of market items. The food counter serves soup and deli sandwiches that are seriously bomb! We tried the new Ham and Cheese which was literally the best ham I’ve ever had, not to mention the gooey cheddar, onion crisps and caramelized onions with the lilikoi BBQ being the perfect topping combination. The highlight for me was probably the homemade Poi bun that it came on, perfect texture with a slight sweetness. We also tried the plain Poi roll which I wish I had a dozen more of. They’re topped with sea salt and don’t even need butter they have such a good flavor. The service was top notch, friendly, local, and family run. The market vibe is fun, welcoming, and accommodating. I would go out of my way to drive back here to try some more of the food options. The sandwich portions are huge. It was jam packed with meat and flavor. Seriously do yourself a favor and do not pass this place up !

The market is just down the road from our house and we love to stop in for local produce, sandwiches and specials. The regular menu options are well-planned and well-made. Specials are creative and always a good surprise. New owners have lots of energy and enthusiasm for their business and have expanded the market’s hours and offerings.

Finally decided to try it after my coworker recommended it. And all I have to say is WOW. Hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I had the Turkey Club and it was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

We were trying to eat at a place nearby that was supposed to be open but was not for some reason. A woman heard us talking about where to try next and told us about the BLTs here. We were so happy that we took her advice, went here, and tried the BLTs! The BLT is amazing! It was seriously the best one I've ever had. I highly recommend it. Everyone was nice here too. Thanks!

This little spot caught my eye, and I said "I bet they have good sandwiches" .... and they did. It smells fantastic in there because of all the good stuff they have cooking ... soups, sandwiches, etc. etc.So, we had sandwiches on the comfy little deck during a light rain, and it was a highlight of our day. Sightseeing tips from the friendly person were a bonus.Highly recommend, would definitely suggest this place for lunch instead of visiting a certain highly prominent drive-through lunch spot a ways up the hill in town! It's fun to go there, too, but this is a lot more cozy and the food is way better.

Came to Honokaa wondering if I’d be able to find a good vegetarian option. Was so happy to see the country market had a Friday special for a veggie pie which was so delicious!! Highly recommend for vegetarians or vegans stopping by.

The staff are all friendly and helpful and the owners have poured love into this store. Their sandwiches are delicious - all fresh local ingredients and fresh bread - and they are huge. The soup is equally delicious. Their quiches are a perfect snack. I eat here all the time and still haven't gotten tired of it. Oh they also have a great alcohol selection.

Oh boy! Cool hawaiian foods and alcohol. I loved my BLT! They also have local beef if you need fresh steaks? At the time we went they were open Tue through Fri 9-5.

Who would have guessed that a quick take-out stop could be so memorable? Honokaa Country Market offers amazing sandwiches in a friendly, funky setting. Is the bread more focaccia-like or biscuit-like? Doesn’t matter, it is delicious, either way. The Turkey club was stacked with tender, hand sliced meat, thick bacon and lively aoli. There was no vegetarian option on the menu, but the kitchen offered a carmelized onion/roasted pepper/tomato/cashew cheese and balsamic glazed option that was out of this world. Portions were generous and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended!
