Wow.... LOVE this shop. Just about everything a sportsman can want. Picked up a new headlamp for exploring the lava tube caves, picked up 2 knives for cutting pineapple and mangos. Love this shop. Great prices! Very cool staff too!

There’s no better place to get fishing, diving, or hunting gear. Even if you do none of these things, you can get a bevy of Yeti tumblers and coolers, various sunglasses, and clothing. Mike and staff are all such wonderful people and they make you feel like family. You can’t go wrong shopping here!

One of the best places to go for all your fishing, camping and hunting needs. They were busy this past Monday. Very clean store and respectful workers! I has a hard time to find something. I went to the back and saw a really nice man that was fixing something and asked him for help. He stopped and helped me with no hesitation. He really didn't know where it was located, but I give him credit because atleast he didn't just tell me I'm not sure. I felt really cared for. Thank you!!

Edit- this place has gopro gear. If you need batteries for the black series they just got some in stock (notably the 9 and the 360). Great staff and friendly service.Great place for outdoor sporting goods and supplies.Awesome selection of firearms as well as reloading setups. Their fishing equipment seems as extensive as their firearms.Admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about fishing but I'm pretty sure they have everything you need to catch anything.An abundance of fine knives ($$$) in the front case and a few different sharpening systems makes it easier to keep any knife sharp as Hell. They may be pricey but they only carry the good stuff.Great place overall. With helpful, knowledgeable, employees.I always recommend this place and the Hilo surplus store to folks in need of equipment.This place gets my five Shaka rating.(Plus one flaming duck for good measure🤣)🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🦆🔥

They have a good selection of fishing equipment and a good amount of other hunting type stuff including guns. Great for quick stops if you just need a few hooks or something like that. They also have Co2 cartridges which aren't super easy to get in hawaii. And in my experience they are happy to help out if you need help with something.

This store always has what I need in terms of sporting goods. They got choke snorkel gear, fishing gear and shooting stuff even. There’s someone is each department too that’s an expert. I got a short history on the evolution of diving masks and what each type was for, the staff is extremely versed in their field. Also fun aside they have really good vinyl stickers there too at the front.

Went inti this place today and received the worst service ever. I talked to an individual behind the counter told him where I had planned on fishing and asked for what kind of of tackle to use. Money was no issue i had planned on spending $200+ . The guy wouldn't tell me anything. J hara store is another outdoor shop if you want better service.

I know this is a weird critique but there's too many employees in the store. I love the selection, organization, quality and even some good prices. But you can't make it down half an isle without someone asking you if you need help, even if they saw you just get asked- I'm sure it's a store policy it just gets a bit much.
