The only way I could be sure is to have the money for a car wash or something and I would be able pay 💰 for it and then we would just pay 💰 it out for it if I wanted and we can do the car wash’s in a month and I would pay for the rent or something and I could do that too and I could just do that for you guys to pay it out and I could get the money out and I would have a lot more to pay off and I could use that for a house.

They had what I wanted (well not exactly but a suitable store brand equivalent). When checking out I asked a question about one of the older cats being held for adoption, two staff members helped me out, going above and beyond to make sure I understood the kitty, his needs, and personality traits. They were very helpful to me, and left me with a very positive opinion on the quality of care and attention the cats available for adoption are receiving.

5 stars for the employees at Hilo Petco!!!! And 5 stars for the ease of online ordering with in store pickup with a reasonable pickup grace period. 3 stars for item availability, many items are out of stock at the one store we have near me. 3 stars for no free shipping (Hawaii has a surcharge).

The music was SO loud I thought I'd entered an 80s night club (depressing, discordant "Smiths" music at full blast) - terrifying for most dogs and unpleasant for humans. The shelves were empty, the few staff pointedly ignored me, and the supervisor I finally tracked down was beyond patronizing. Went to Tractor Supply instead - so much better - friendly, attentive, no music and plenty of stock at Tractor Supply.

It was a bit more costly than expected, but my boy Bear & my friend's dog Maggie, both looked amazing. I watched her for a bit at the end & that groomer is definitely a perfectionist! Ist hard to get a good picture of Bear unless he's napping. He's always moving.

I bought Nulo cat food that was advertised all over shelves that members who bout 8 or more would get 20% off. I bought more than eight and did not get a discount at all. When I called the store to inquire I was told I had to come back to the store with everything so they could review. The store is an hour's drive... Not able to, VERY DISAPPOINTED

I’m not one to ever leave a review. I was in yesterday.. the girl at the register around 1pm was not helpful and had such an attitude. We just got a new pup and have been in and out of Petco with so much excitement ! Everyone who has helped us has been so amazing. Leaving after getting rung up by her left my partner and I baffled that someone could be so passively sassy.

It’s like always, can’t find the whole hearted big bag of cat food. Try to find someone to ask, no one makes eye contact. End up switching to Blue Buffalo. Check out girl didn’t speak a word. I had to ask for my receipt twice. Tried to donate the change due to me, to Maui, she had no idea how to do it. Unfortunately this is my only option in Hilo, HI to get their food, otherwise I have to drive 2 hours to Kona.

The Hilo Petco is the best! The staff here is EXTRA service oriented & friendly. Today's visit was specifically to take advantage of their vaccination services - The Oahu SPCA vet technicians are amazing! I am so happy that Katy & Kaelin (sp?) are here to run the clinic every month :) Always very pleased after my visits to this location. See you all again soon!

Drove far distances to come to this Petco in Hilo to buy fish from their fish aquarium section. When I arrived there was a lot of water on the floor and then I was approached by one of a the staff members and she told me that this area was closed due to a leak and that none of the fish was for sale except for the comets. I'm not sure why just because we have a leak we cannot sell fish. From what I understood from the front cashier that they were selling fish earlier in the day but decided to stop just because there's a leak that doesn't mean operations have to stop. If anything I would want to get rid of my fish just in case anything else happens. Poor customer service and the way they handled me was very poor. The fish that I wanted to select was in good condition and good health and no exceptions were made on my part, wasting my gas and my time driving all this way for nothing! Furthermore, management is very poor and the clean up effort at the aquarium site was very poor and messy the way they were trying to mitigate the water system. If I was there I would clean that up and always try to get dry towels and try to keep the leak to a minimum to not occupy floor space. The signs that they used to close off the spaces caution wet floor but when she came to me she told me that the place was closed. Now English tells me caution and closed is two different words and two different meanings. Petco in Hilo needs new management and a whole new round of staff that's going to care about the store and care about their customers. Being that we live on an island that we have to come from remote areas and drive for miles to get to the store.
