Wonderful staff and everything you could ever need right down to heat blankets and MRE's.They have natural mosquito repellent, walking sticks, clothes, boots and an entire kitchen set up.Great weapons/yard tools selection. That's where we got our best machete with a nice sheath and belt attachment.They treat everyone with dignity.

This place has everything necessary for survival. It's wonderful as a parent to have access to affordable, durable clothes for my kids. Kitchen goods are a treasure trove as is the tools department. The nicest people work there, always a warm family welcome.

Little pricey for a lot of items considered surplus. I go for the Paracord. Best prices , best selection of high quality ACTUALLY Paracord. 550eans 550 lb break strength. Not 150 like the "paracord" sold at Walmart, home depot, tractor supply, et al... Go here if you want the good stuff 🤙

They were very rude and it was a very dirty nasty environment. They made fun of me for trying to sell some coins that they did not even look at for more than 2 seconds. I do not believe that they deal in coins like their ads say. If they did they would know what to look for and could have given me a proper appraisal. Not a place I would sell a coin anyway.

Looks like some cool stuff in there, but the place is a mess! Not much room to move around and it gets really tight if more than a couple customers are in the store. The workers just sit on their computers instead of just keeping up on normal store duties.

Lots of domestic camo, and great displays! Wide variety of gear for any weather, and some nice gore tex if you are into collecting! Amazing owners who are incredibly kind and willing to help find what you are looking for. Please stop by, these guys deserve it!

Tim is amazing and hooked us up with fuel for our camp stove even though it was the end of the day right before a holiday. He really went the extra mile to help us out and made our backcountry trip possible. Could not recommend this store more highly! Just the kind of aloha you hope to find on the big island. Wow! This place is AWESOME! Definitely the BEST place to go for all of your camping/hunting/ outdoor adventure activity needs - it's packed with hard to find items for cooking, camouflage attire, survival gear etc. - It's even worth just checking out for fun, BUT I'd bet you won't leave without purchasing SOMETHING :) The staff is very nice too!

I was surprised that their machetes were so expensive (ranging from almost $20 to over $50), none being of great quality. They have mid-range tents for prices average to that category. Probably the best place in Hilo to get coats and jackets, they have a large selection of those. Overall I wasn't impressed with the selection of camping goods and related items but it's an interesting place to check out.

I love this store! I remember going there eight years ago and I believe the prices were more expensive. However now I find the prices fair to good depending on what you are getting. If I had more time I would’ve spent more money, which would not of been good- nobody wants to spend all of their travel budget in one place. Nice people working there too!

Great place to find things no one else has in Hilo. Going to the mainland, and needed a winter jacket, not only did I find a very good quality jacket, but at a great price!This place has tools, camping supplies, home goods, hunting and fishing, clothing, lighting.....and so much more!
