I always have a great time coming here with my puppy. We bought a new flat collar, harness, 3ft leash, dog cot, and some toys and treats for our Catahoula mix pup. Everyone working there is so friendly and helpful. They also have dogs so they can recommend things from their own experience. Our dog goes crazy for the long Beef sticks by the front counter. They're strong but also easy to break apart by hand which makes it easier for me to split it up into portions which I want my dog to have at the moment. Every treat i have bought there, my dog Loves very much. Great vibe and wonderful people. Looking forward to our next shopping spree there. Aloha

Great staff and awesome store. I buy my dogs raw food and my cat food here and my animals love it, they snuff all other foods. Great to bring your dogs with you to get them out and about, the toys are at dog level so she can pick one if it catches her attention.

I have specific needs for my dog because she is an older dog that is also a large breed. I had concerns about dieting for weight and health to keep that sinister hip dysplasia at bay. Thankfully the staff was able to recommend great options for her that were of excellent quality and within my budget. I also wanted to try giving a new treat to my dog. The staff recommended cod skin treats, and my dog loves them. I can’t wait to visit again!

The staff at Aloha Pawz is always so friendly and helpful to me and my dog. Their recommendations for treats and food and gear have always been spot on! I have also found great gifts for my brother (who has several cats) that were unique and locally themed that I dont think I would have been able to find otherwise. The shop small, but the staff is great and the merchandise is definitely different from what you might find at Petco or another big box store. Itʻs great to still have a small pet store like this in our town!

I have not visited the store in a couple years. I went there today in the hopes of finding my cat a birthday present. A new toy or a tasty treat. When my daughter and I entered we were greeted, however, a hello is all that we got. We looked lost, the cat selection was poor, and the staff behind the counter proceeded to talk about someone cheating on someone else. This experience was unpleasant and the staff was unprofessional. I work in customer service and never should you ever carry on a personal conversation when a customer is in the store. This was super disappointing and I doubt we'll go back.

Aloha Pawz is an awesome store, they have everything you could think of for your dogs. This is sweet family run business, not some corporate run place that really doesn't care about you or your animals. Paulla is amazing and will try to help you out even when it's busy, her staff is friendly and extremely helpful.Help a family run business out and support this place if you have pets, they treat you like family.

Since moving to the Big Island, I have shopped at this store maybe ... 2-3 times a month, if not more. They were the only place that stocked the (raw) food my dog was eating at the time. At some point, there was some kind of shipment issue (manufacturer's side) and they didn't have my food in stock for a bit. They were great about updating shipment status and taking phone calls asking about the product ... they even made a customer phone list of to notify folks as soon as they got their shipment in. The staff was so great about offering comparable alternative options. I ended up switching to what they recommended because my dog loved it so much! Everyone is ALWAYS super friendly and they have a great product selection. 1000% reccomend this place!

Great local pet store with quality pet food products and the only place I know to buy raw pre-made dog food on the island. Great staff. Always friendly. Never have a problem parking. Track your purchases with the 5 star program and earn discounts. Thanks for keeping our pups happy! We stopped in today for a doggy birthday treat and to stock up on food. Our dogs love their pet store visits and can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive. Mahalo!

Cute pet store with everything from food and treats to toys and accessories. They have homemade style treats and cute Hawaiian collars with matching leashes. They even had brain games for dogs which is hard to find at other pet stores.
