This is a wonderful place to get good coffee, breakfast food, and meet locals, as they really do gather here very frequently. We went the first time on a Sunday, as I was in need of some good coffee that they could grind for me as we were housesitting for people who had a sub-par grinder. They were so very helpful and guided me to their Puna Punch bean, which was the light roast I wanted. They then grinded it for me for the moka pot. I also got a Salted Caramel Cortado, and a Lox Bagel. Both were delicious...especially all the parts of the bagel...capers, onions, tomatoes, cream cheese, and good lox. Hubby got one too with his cappuccino. We came back the following Saturday fairly early so we could park in Hawi and sit at the coffee mill to watch the Ironman bicycle leg, as Hawi was the turnaround point. It was amazing to be there with all the locals and all the women flying through (it's grown so big, this is the first year they split the field & it was women only in the Kona event). All the local youth had tables out for the feed zone and got the chance to hand water bottles etc. to the elite athletes. Excellent experience and all right there at the Coffee Mill. By the way, a week later I ran out of coffee, but we were in Waimea so went to their sister (mother?)-store Waimea Coffee to get the Puna Punch beans and they were just as friendly.Go for the coffee, stay for the local vibe.

OkSo I went with my aunts to this lovely. Coffee place. And it so cool! COOPER THE GUIDE was so nice and explained everything so nicely. Try to get him if you go! The Coffee tasted great and the view, well, you will have to just get your breath taking away when you go!

We stopped for breakfast and coffee after our sunrise hike at pololu valley! I was in the mood for a breakfast burrito and it was delicious! We got the cold brew coffee, very good as well. The staff was friendly and it was nice and breezy for seating outside. If you have time it’s worth a quick bite.

I really like the vibe and look of this place. It's very relaxed and formal and there are plenty of entertaining messages and signs around this business. My wife reported that the ice cream was okay. She had the coconut cream and said it didn't really taste of coconut. Other than a sherbet option, there was nothing really here for vegans.Parking: Parking is right on the street.

Good location and is a nice spot to shop and rest after hiking Pololu Valley.Ordered a cortado and the espresso was quite acidic. We also ordered a local honey latte which was really good and the sweetness came through nicely. Staff was really nice, but not super knowledgeable of the menu to give recommendations/describe menu options.

Fun local breakfast and coffee shop. Had a fantastic breakfast burrito 10/10. This place fills up super quick and seating is limited. If you are in the area definitely stop buy and show some support for local business

Kohala Coffee Mill is a great find, especially if you're en route to or from Pololū Valley Lookout. The unique variety of coffee options, including the "freaky breed" selection, is a great choice for coffee enthusiasts. The added bonus of live music added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere. Even though it's a small spot, it's absolutely worth stopping by. If you're in the area and seeking a coffee, this is the place to be!Parking: Slow down and spot a place. Be patient!

Cute stop on our road trip. Tried the macnut icecream and coconut was so delicious. Due to covid we are allowed to order from a drive through type window. Staff is extremely friendly and patient with undecided customers like myself when ordering. Kona coffee was amazing!

Honestly pretty disappointed. One word STINGY.Best thing about the place is that you can get Tropical Dreams ice cream there!Got the BLT w avocado and a lox bagel. The BLT bread was poor quality. Sandwich was dry with very scant toppings. The lox bagel was totally deconstructed so I had to make it myself. There was only enough salmon for 75% of the sandwich! Either price the lox correctly and give a proper portion or just give a proper amount!Wanted to like this place :(

I liked the vibe and look of this place. But the sandwiches we’ve ordered were the worst we ever had.I had a BLT only lettuce inside a very tiny slice of tomato and the 🥓 almost invisible.Extremely disappointed.

Tasty beverage and food options for a fair price. Made to order drinks and our breakfast was delicious.May be a bit tricky to park close, and expect to wait in a queue, but it is worth the effort.

Horrible overpriced coffee. Payed almost $11 for a flavored iced latte! If you are from nyc or any other city w a good coffee culture , you would be shocked how bad this coffee is
