Absolutely loved my visit to the Shrimp Shack food truck! Positioned perfectly by the seaside, it's the ideal stop after a day at the Kualoa Ranch. The warmth and friendliness of the lovely lady running the place added a wonderful touch to the whole experience.But let's talk about the star of the show – the garlic shrimp rice. It's hands down the best shrimp dish I've had on the island. The aroma of garlic mingled perfectly with the butter, creating a flavor that's just divine. Enjoying this dish while the sea breeze caresses your face is an experience in itself. It's moments like these that make dining so much more than just eating.For anyone looking for an unforgettable meal in a laid-back setting with views to die for, the Shrimp Shack is a must-visit. Their garlic shrimp rice is a culinary masterpiece that captures the essence of island life. Heartily recommend it to all!

New favorite restaurant. Seriously. This experience could not have been better. Right away the shrimp shack staff were kind, welcoming and friendly, it'd be hard not to be happy in such a beautiful location, right across from the beach with the breeze coming off the water. This spot has a fantastic menu, the three of us went with two plates to share but we could've downed four plates easy. Their coconut shrimp is one of the best bites of my life, served with a mango honey sauce that it SO GOOD and they're being SO CHILL about selling it, they could put up a sign or something to let people driving by know they have maybe the best sauce I've ever had. Their garlic shrimp was great as well, the Mahi Mahi with grilled onions was the other star of the day, I suggest loading up on coconut shrimp and the mango sauce, as much of the mango sauce as you can get away with, and Mahi Mahi and enjoying it all as we did at their tables by the sea. A beautiful experience. This place is a must stop.

The lady taking our order was wonderful and friendly. We got the garlic shrimp and the coconut shrimp and both were perfectly cooked. It is amazing the flavors they can get out of a food truck kitchen. Normally not a terrible wait but you are 15 feet from the beach and they have small tables set up on the sand if you would like to eat at the water. Such a hidden gem

Stopped in for a quick snack on a motorcycle ride around the island. Had the coconut shrimp with the mango sauce. Mango sauce was excellent. Shrimp could have been a little better. The price is very good portion size with the rice flavorful with the butter sauce. Across the street from the food truck, there's a couple small tables on the beach. Definitely is one of the better food truck options on the North shore for shrimp

If you see this yellow shack on wheels do not hesitate to stop! It was hands down our favorite spot to dine in right on the beach literally! Across from the shrimp shack there’s shrimp shack dinning area where you can enjoy their delicious tasting shrimp! Try the Coconut Shrimp with Mango sauce and a Beer in hand you can pickup next door and as long you have it in a brown paper bag. Also the spicy garlic you gotta try it! Loved their dinning area across the street. Dinning area has maybe 3 tables but simply wait for someone to be dismissed or just eat right on the sandy beach under the palm trees!!!!! The staff was great and super cool so shoutout to them !

Tasty food in a convenient place on the beach when you're driving up along the east coast. The spicy garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp were tasty, but it was a little disappointing that we were given plastic forks instead of a more sustainable variety that will break down more easily and have a lower impact on the environment. It is easily wheelchair accessible (you'll need to be careful crossing the road after ordering to sit and eat at the tables on the beach) and located in a convenient spot.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible, however if you park on the east side, you will need to be careful crossing the road as it can be quite busy. The same applies if you want. to cross the road to sit at the tables set up on the beach.

We spent some time looking for a place to eat that had coconut shrimp. We found this little gem on the north shore of Hawaii and it was worth the wait. The food we had was very good and the price was just right. There's a sign when you show up that it's good food not fats food and it's true. The owner who takes orders was friend and enjoyed taking time to talk with customers. My experience here was great and I will definitely go back.

We found this stunning steak and shrimp food truck on our road trip around the island. Definitely worth stopping and sampling some of the perfectly cooked and mouth watering cuisine. I’m dreaming of my next visit already!!

We had such an amazing meal at this gem of a spot. I can’t wait to bring my family back. Bonnie, Irene, and Karlee made us feel like we were part of their Ohana immediately. The food was off the charts amazing!! I grabbed a plate of the steak and shrimp for my husband and he loved it. I can’t wait to become a regular.*edit I had to bring my hubby to my new favorite shrimp truck. Again , the ladies didn’t disappoint!! We lucked out and got a table for two looking out the the ocean. I can’t wait to come back and bring more friends and family who visit to one of my favorite spots!🤙🏽💗

Stumbled on this place randomly during our drive. We had the Coconut Shrimp. It was hot and crispy. The dipping sauce was tasty sweet. The lady was super nice. The Iceberg Kona was surprisingly good! Quality coffee and vanilla ice cream! Great for a food truck!
