Condo was exactly as described, great wraparound balcony (lanai) gorgeous ocean views, fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night and had a wonderful time cooking meals in the very state of the art updated kitchen. Absolutely loved our stay! Will definitely be back!

Building under renovation... machines blocked parking spots. Arrived and grateful for the information sent. Made it to our room and was greeted by a cool, air-conditioned room with beautiful views of the ocean and a box of chocolates by the manager... very nice, personalized touch. We felt important and valued. Some additional cleaning to the windows is recommended. Another mop/sweep of floors could be used but still nice. Directions to use the washer/dryer would have been greatly appreciated. List of nearby eateries and locations would be helpful. We hope to return after the renovations are complete...

Oh where to begin!?!? This. Place. Is. AWESOME!!! Hawaiian breeze constantly flowing through the apartment is heavenly. Beach right there! Food options galore. Wonderful country side surrounded by several prime attractions. Yet it was private and quaint enough to not feel surrounded by crowds. Host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Plenty of beds. Kitchen worked well for our group of eight. Laundry too. Overall, this was an amazing long stay for us!

We recently stayed at David’s place and we had a wonderful stay. Everything you need is there! Easy to get from the airport, easy to get to all the areas in Oahu from there. The private beach access was awesome for our family of 8. If you want to stay away from the ultra touristy areas and experience the beautiful Hawaiian culture, this is the place. There is some construction/upgrading to the building but that didn’t bother or inconvenience us at all! Just a few steps away and you find some delicious food trucks, and a small store with everything you need and also a smoothie/fruit stand that was delicious as well. David and his crew were super responsive and made sure we were informed well before we got there. We would definitely stay there again.

The best part of the stay was waking up the sound of the ocean and believe it or not the properties pet rooster. Being right on the beach was awesome. Only one con, a little handyman work to fix the minor issues. Still 5 stars, will for sure book again when I visit again.

The condo was amazing! This place has everything, all of your toiletries, with the exception of toothpaste and toothbrush.Coffee maker is a keurig duo, K cups are included, different flavors. Really enjoyed the kona coffee😁. They really put the extra effort into making my family feel at home.The bed and pillows are very comfortable. We were very happy that this condo came with an AC.The view of the ocean from the balcony is breathtaking. We plan on coming back!

A few small things went wrong when we arrived, but they were very quick to come and fix it. Besides that the place was beautiful and worth every penny! It's a great location on the island! We would stay there again!! The sunrises were amazing

We just returned from our week long vacation on Oahu and I really wanted to leave this review. The hosts would get a total of 5 stars for being so attentive and informative. We had no issues finding the location, checking in and we were communicated with a lot. However the location of the condo was not what we had hoped for for our weeklong vacation to a tropical island. We started our trip at Pat's at Punalu'u but after three nights we made the choice to go elsewhere. Here is why: We are a family of four with 2 teenage girls. We were looking for an ocean front place to stay and Pat's place fit the bill on that exactly. We were oceanfront and the view was lovely, however we were in a unit that is tucked into a corner which limited our view to the ocean looking directly out only - looking south we looked right into a neighbor's condo. The condo was as described on the website - photos were very accurate. The hosts have done an amazing job of stocking the condo and making their guests feel welcome - we stayed in the unit called "New! Beachfront Condo" it is a 1 bedroom condo. They have absolutely made the most out of the small space. The single bedroom fits only the bunk bed and the second sleeping arrangements would be in the main living area. The Murphy bed is a pull out mattress that leaves you on the floor or you can choose to stay on one of the two folding down futons (so again, they have done their best to accommodate multiple sleeping arrangements) The downsides that are not in the reviews I read prior to booking: The street noise is very noticeable from the bedroom side of the condo so be sure to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The East side of the island is the windy/rainy side of the island (which I knew in advance) just be aware that the wind and ocean will also give off a bit of noise (much more pleasant than the road noise but still fairly loud at night). We also stayed during their construction season and while our view wasn't blocked the construction noise was a loud jackhammer kind of noise which made beach time undesirable. Staying on the East side of the island we got sun rises but no sunsets (again we knew that prior to booking) The beach itself is very narrow and is not accommodating to "hanging out on the beach" however it is very private with no crowds whatsoever. The biggest downfall that left us checking out early has to do with the lack of close activities. The condo is located at least 30-45 minutes away from any community that boasts great restaurants, shopping, or water activities. We found ourselves leaving the condo in the morning and not coming back until the evening which just got exhausting. If you are looking for a private/secluded/self-serviced place to stay then this place would work for you. If you are wanting to do any sort of activities, or eat out/shop, you will have to drive 30-45 minutes each time. This review is not meant to leave any negative remarks to the hosts or to the condo - only to give additional information for guests considering the location of where the condo is located.

We had a wonderful stay in Prime Hawaii's colorful bungalow in Laie on the northeastern shore of Oahu. The bungalow was plenty of room for our family of four with two bedrooms (queen I think and two twins) and a separate TV room that could sleep another two people. Just about every detail was thought of including extra toiletries, boogie boards (very key!), snorkel gear, a ukulele, lots of beach and regular towels, lots (and lots!) of toilet paper, games, books, and even super cool, vintage stamped postcards ready for you to mail home. The washer/dryer is outdoors so keep that in mind, and we could've used clothespins to take full advantage of the clotheslines in the sun and breeze. Access to the narrow beachfront is up the road a bit opposite the Marriott; it's almost easier to drive to one of the other beaches that are close by like Pounders which is just down the road and the kids loved. Speaking of, parking for the car rental is in the front on the grass which felt odd but works :) The bungalow is super cheery with a teal and rainbow theme and literally across the street from the Polynesian Cultural Center, which meant we could squeeze in some downtime after a long hot day there and before the nighttime show. Bret and his team were super responsive by text and email. Our stay ended before the horrific wildfires on Maui and now I appreciate even more that there were fire blankets underneath the kitchen sink, something I've never seen in a rental. Mahalo for a truly great stay!

This was our first trip to Oahu. Being unfamiliar with the area I was really nervous booking. Especially without any reviews yet and the concerns regarding construction. We were more than pleasantly surprised. The building is definitely in need of updating (which is happening) but the condo was updated and perfect. I included a picture which is the view from the lanai while drinking that morning cup of coffee. We never heard or were bothered by construction and we were there during two work days. In the morning we walked one block to a little market where they start cooking fresh Hawaiian plates at 7am as well as açaí bowls and smoothies next door. at night we walked the beach with flashlights and got to see numerous sea turtles. Communication with the host was top notch. We would definitely stay again.

We love this area of Oahu! The beach is private. The views are amazing on both sides of the condo complex. We saw so many sea turtles and fish when snorkeling. Our condo had everything and more for us, plenty of beach towels and beach gear. We had 8 in our group, plenty of space for everyone. Showers were both really nice and upgraded. The hot water wasn’t working in one of the bathrooms, the maintenance person was quick to fix it. There was only one key fob when we arrived (on a Saturday) and we were giving the wrong code for the lockbox, but someone was quick to respond to our issues. We will definitely rent from them again.

I loved this Condominium, it's the perfect location right on the beach (turtles everywhere) near North Shore. Plenty of places to eat at. Grocery store close by.You have the ocean and mountains. Absolutely loved this condominium. I would highly recommend this place.The hostess was great.

My stay at Pats at Punaluu was pretty memorable. Being in North Shore was really special. Less commercial where we stayed in Waikiki but still close to everywhere I wanted to be.Knowing how much I loved this place came to light when I stayed at 3 other rental places all over Hawaii. Betty’s place was as described and more,…spacious, corner unit, and had the functionality of what I want in my apartment, I couldn’t ask for anything more. They really thought about what their guests would want and need. We were spoiled. I would not hesitate in staying here again. Mahalo!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The condo easily accommodated my family of 6. It was really clean and had everything we needed, washer & dryer was a +! The beach was easily accessible, the people were super friendly, and even though there was some construction going on, it didn’t seem to be an issue or a distraction. Location was chill and not busy at all. We look forward to staying there again!

He had a wonderful stay! The condo was roomy and clean. We put the kitchen and grill areas to good use, and made so many wonderful meals there. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We did venture down the street to the food trucks and market a couple times, which was a really nice and close option to have. The furnishings (especially the primary bed) furniture was comfortable. There were six of us, three adults and three teenagers, and everyone had plenty of room. There was a nice selection of beach chairs and toys for our use. The kids really enjoyed using the boogie boards. We did run into a few Portuguese Man o Wars, and had to deal with some stings, but it didn't deter the kids from getting back in the water the next day. The construction didn't bother us at all. The kids would have used the pool more if the hours hadn't been restricted, but that was really a minor thing and they just enjoyed the beach instead. There were plenty of chairs and tables and loungers around the yard for our use. It was a quiet property, that offered a great location. We wanted to stay out of the hustle of Honolulu and Waikiki, but close enough to go there when/if we wanted, and to many of the other activities along the north shore. It really is an ideal location, and an ideal condo. I would definitely recommend!!

We had a great week with our family of 6. We arrived at the complex late evening so it was a nice surprise when we looked outside upon waking up the first morning.The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our lanai each morning and hearing the roosters. We really appreciated the beach gear supplies for us to use during our stay. The air conditioner in the living room and kids bedroom was an added bonus. The kids loved the bunk beds in their room.The washing machine was a bit of an issue during our stay as it was not working. They did their best to get someone in to fix it but unfortunately it still did not work. 2 days prior to check out a very friendly repair man came to fix it and was successful. We were thankful for our time in our condo. Thank you

Perfect place! Fantastic hosts! Adorable cottage! We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The view was spectacular! The cottage was cozy and very comfortable. We loved being able to watch the sunrise or sunset from the covered, screened patio. We will definitely stay there again!

We wanted a quick get away from our home on Oahu. We found Bret's place in Hauula and it was perfect for our needs. It is a quiet part of Oahu that offers a sandy beach right outside and beautiful Ko'olau mountain views the other way. The sunrise was perfect. The unit itself is so tastefully remodeled and makes perfect use of the space. I included a picture of the clever washer and dryer setup because it was so impressive. Our kids loved having their own beds in the room and we were perfectly cozy on the pull out couch. Also, if you are a Hawaii Five-O fan, this building was in one of the episodes! It was so fun saying "We've stayed there!" while watching. Thank you for letting us make memories in your space.

Horrible. The construction massively impacted our stay. The jackhammering on the lanai, was so loud and so powerful the walls and floor or vibrating. My son could not hear me I had to yell. The jackhammering caused a portion of the ceiling to crumble and fall down in our unit. The view from the lanai was blocked by wood paneling see photos below

Sunbathing with sea turtles, smelling hibiscus mixed with the ocean air, an ocean steps away from the door, snorkeling at the drop of a hat. This has been the neatest place we have stayed. The host was great and communicated well. We had all the toys and supplies we needed. We loved it all!

We loved the condo location, views and setup! Inside condo - nice flooring, washer and dryer, nice kitchen and large shower. Plenty of tables and benches for sitting on or organizing your stuff. All necessary pots, pans, silverware and glassware provided. Full size bunks (2 sets) were comfortable with additional bed in family room. A/C worked well but also opening patio door and listening to ocean was awesome. Outside - breath taking views…loved the balcony and the beach right outside your door. Very quiet beach and very clear water. Currently there is unsightly construction and equipment etc on the parking lot side plus an odor on occasion as a result of construction however from this condo and once inside this condo (or on balcony or beachside) everything was really nice! I imagine once updates are made and construction finished the exterior will look very nice as well. We enjoyed the space, views and beach and would love to come back and stay here again in the future!

This was my third time visiting Oahu and staying on the east side. I stayed at this location with 4 other friends to celebrate my birthday in January The space was absolutely amazing! We had incredible views from both bedrooms upstairs, and the living space downstairs. We also had direct access to the beach which was so incredible. The space itself was very clean once we arrived. The extra snorkels and beach equipment wasn’t clean or ready to be used, but that didn’t really matter since we had brought out own snorkel gear… just something to note. I’d highly recommend anyone to stay here. Especially if you have a family or group of friends.

The location was prime and the apartment was beautiful. We really enjoyed being able to be close to family and home. Check-in directions were simple enough to follow and easy enough to access. Our contacts for the rental were amazing. They sent us constant updates and checked in to see if we needed anything. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was construction but it didn't affect our stay. The apartment was accommodating and it had everything that we needed. We can't wait to be able to stay here again. Mahalo

The location is amazing. The management company is efficient. I am taking away a star for the following reasons: there is no dishwasher, condo felt very small for 3 people, it’s deficient in kitchen stuff, 10AM Checkout is too early and 4PM checkin is too late(You are paying by day but losing 6 hours).Construction is on the other side of the building, so did not bother us. Traffic on the road can be heard but not too bad.

We loved our stay in this condo! I only wish we could have stayed longer. My family of 5 was very comfortable here. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, washer and dryer, all the needed amenities. And the view was unbelievable! I hope we can come back again!!
