We love the beautiful shirt we purchased here for our toddler grandson. It was a challenge to select only one, because the prints, which are all designed by the local owner and then batik dyed in Indonesia, are each very beautiful. The clothing is crafted from the softest rayon, and they have a great variety of fabrics and garment styles for men, women, and children. These are definitely a class above what you would find at a typical tourist gift shop. And the service is so friendly too.

I wish you could give zero stars. Owner operator was very rude to me when I was disappointed the shirts contained bamboo. I was still going to buy one because they're beautiful but I don't buy things from people with his demeanor.

The staff was friendly, but his salesmanship was a bit forward for my Millennial sensibilities. The garments here are on the very expensive side ($86 for the less expensive Hawaiian shirts), but I was swayed when the salesman told us that each garment is hand-made and hand-painted on bamboo fiber. There is a video on display in the store that shows the process. The patterns are fairly unique. The aesthetic may not be for everyone.
