Cool unpretentious little village of restaurants, shops, desserts, and coffee. We really like it and feel it has a naturally welcoming vibe while being quite functional and thankfully not corporate cookie cutter.

This shopping precinct looks a bit run down but it's still interesting to have a walk around. There are gift shops you can roam through for cute little keepsakes to buy. There are good places to eat too but unfortunately the one we wanted to try was unexpectedly closed.

Good shop options between food, desserts, and souvenirs. Found a nameplate surf board and license plate as well as sweatshirts and spirit jerseys. Not a lot of parking but worth the walk around

Found this shopping location while driving further north on Kauai. Wanted to go to chicken in a barrel bbq, but when we arrived, it ended up being closed early for the Christmas holiday celebration for their employees. So we opted to walk around and visit some of the other stores, purchase more greeting cards and stickers, and we stopped at L&L Hawaiian for a late lunch.Older shopping location but had a lot of stores and eating places. Would visit it again if we traveled to this area. Parking is limited, so be patient waiting for a spot or on street parking.

Plenty to see and eat here. We had pizza at the pizza shop and shaved ice. There are a bunch of restaurants to choose from. Tacos, bbq, pizza. The Big Save grocery is near by as well. There are also a few hotdog stands. You can get just about everything here in this de facto town center north of Kauai.

What a great place to stop. We did at least every afternoon we were in town. Great Tshirt shops, lunch spots, grocery stores, bbq, shave ice. It has it all and is such a fun place to stop. Something for everyone in the family.

Quaint little shopping place. The grill is pretty pricey for what you get, but there's chicken in a barrel and another mixed plate place that are reasonable. The shaved ice place is pretty good.Restrooms are a bit hidden in the back of the structure and only had one urinal and one stall for men, two stalls for women.Nice place to look for small trinkets and souvenirs. Across the street is another building with more shops.

Many years we've been coming here. Interesting to see what stays and what goes. Bathrooms are located in the back. Kept fairly clean and everyone can help with that. Parking located in many different areas. So if you can't find one look at the next. Plenty to shop and eat at.

Great diversity of shops with a variety of prices and items. The grocery store here is one of the cheapest (and most interesting) on the island. There is even a music store!

We tried Poke for the first time for lunch and it was fresh, delicious, and a good mixture of flavors. We ate the Mac, Local, and Security bowls. This is a great place to shop.

Typical Hawaii tourist trap. A couple surf type shops that sell sandals, sun glasses, boardshorts, swimsuits, and t-shirts. Jewelry store, JoJo's shave ice, Chicken-in-a-Barrel, L&L BBQ, and a few other bar/restaurants. Almost all the shops close by 6pm.

Cool shops/services in the quaint town of Hanalei. A little bit of everything for (most) folks. The usual tourist traps, expectedly, but also some really awesome local shops and eats, namely Holy Grail donuts -- their donut truck alone makes it worth the stop.

You can find food, shops, tours and more here at this tourist stop. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop to walk around and get refreshments.

Some of the stores here are cheap aren't well laid out or kept up very well (i.e. faded merchandise in the displays) but there are some excellent stores and restaurants in the kid that make it worth the stop. And occasionally there is live music.

A nice complex in the heart of Hanalei - with a lot of food and drink options closeby and in the complex and a few shopping areas. Great place to chill
