We got there late so our choice was fish n chips or pizza... down fo da fish!Hubbs n I both got fried fish... nice cook on da fish, very tasty, so were da fries.We got mango tea which tasted and had texture like a milk tea... still refreshing. Enjoying this meal, it started to rain which, to me, was the perfect ending to a VERY late lunch or early dinner!Everyone at the shops, full of aloha, on our way out we got banana bread, checked out local art, great little stop to and from Hana!!

The best porks ribs we’ve ever had! We stopped for Huli Huli Chicken and Pork Ribs and we were amazed at how incredible the ribs were. They’ll give you the recipe for the rub if you ask, but I have to believe the slow-cooking is what makes these ribs and the chicken so special. It comes with steamed veggies. We also went next door for a fresh coconut drink prepared to order. When you’re done, they’ll split it in half and dig out the fresh meat. This is so worth the wait (on the road) and the stop.

Amazing ribs, probably the best we've ever had! It was $26 for a huge plate of ribs, sticky rice and some veggies. We split an order and it was plenty of food for two people. The huli huli chicken also looked amazing. There are a couple of stores here, one of which was a very pleasant surprise with good quality jewelry and items made by local artists. We found a beautiful necklace as a souvenir of our day. A great stop, but we really wish they had bathrooms! There were porta potties on site, but they looked neglected and were locked.

Nice market on the way to Hana. Great to stretch the legs if nothing else. We got her won a Sunday and a bunch of the shops were closed for some reason. Anyway. You could get great coffee here. Huli huli chicken bbq. Art work. And take some silly stick-your-head-through-a-hole photos.

What a sneaky little treasure trove of things they sell here! From so ono lunch plates, snacks and fresh fruit to a fun little coffee spot - food is covered. Plus there are knick knacks, one of a kind jewelry and other sparkly or unique souvenirs here. We stayed for an hour but could have hung out all day!!!

It's a very Hawaiian thing to just show up when you want so depends on the day as to what or how many of the businesses will actually be open on any given day.The tacos place was not open on the day we came here so I had to settle for a place of rice with a shrimp skewer.

There aren't many options for food and drink on the road to Hana, but Nahiku Cafe at Nahiku Marketplace is absolutely worth the stop. I imagine parking may be difficult when it's normal tourist levels, but it's worth waiting for.My husband got a coffee which he said was some of the best coffee he's ever tasted. I got a fruit smoothie and some banana bread. The smoothies are pricey but it's easy to see why when they cut up fresh mango, pineapple, and other fruits in front of you and then pop them in the blender. The smoothie was so good my husband said he wished he had gotten his own, and the banana bread was amazingly moist and flavorful I wish it was bigger!Nahiku Cafe also has some cute items in their shop for purchase if you're looking for a memento, but the gallery located in the same complex has many more items to choose from.Definitely a stop to make for a pick me up on your drive!

The nicest lady ran the whole food bus. Shrimp were large and cooked perfectly and the coconut was fresh. The price was a little spendy, but worth it after a day on the road to Hana.

The only little place open early in the morning (before 10am) on the road to Hana! The coffee is very good, I wish they would switch to biodegradable straws etc. But I'm told they are doing this soon!The barista at the cafe was very sweet and helpful.Features: No masks required

I was searching for a place that makes smoothies along the Hana Highway and we came across Nahiku Cafe. I ordered the Tropical Blend smoothie and it was excellent!! I loved it so much I took a picture of it! I highly recommend it!

Rest stop with amazing food options for the road weary travellers to/from Hana. Grilled chicken , pork, coconut shrimp tacos, pineapple coconut bread and Mac flavored coffee.

Best ribs we've had on Maui so far. Definitely worth the drive, and frankly the Hana Highway is part of the character appeal for this hidden gem. My wife and kids had the chicken and it was pretty great too. And for dessert we bought a sour sap from another nearby stall. I'd never heard of sour sap before but it turns out to be really delicious -- kind of like a strawberry taste with a little of the acidity of pineapple.

Stopped over at Nahiku Marketplace during out journey to Hana.Small little place, a little bit overpriced(but I guess its pretty standard for Hawaii).I tried the coconut shrimp and chips, they were okay...not out of the world and definitely not worth $20.

I had small huli huli ribs at Max Bullah’s place yesterday. I couldn’t wait to get network to leave a well deserved 5 stars review for this great huli huli small restaurant. The cook showed outstanding kindness, I should have asked for his name!! He made my day, and the meal was simply delicious. Cash only, be prepared because it worth it!!

We arrived during a bit of a rain and it made for an amazing setting. We were originally drawn to the smoke and smell of ribs and chicken but the timing didn’t quite work with our kids being overly hungry.We opted for the fish and chips (fresh blue marlin) which was absolutely fantastic!!! I was also interested in the coconut shrimp but she had sold out before I could get my hands on it.This was a wonderful lunch!

Sadly most of the food vendors were closed when we were there (heard there was some skiller surf so can't blame them lol!).But this wonderful woman runs the fish n chip shops and she does a bang up job all on her own! Enjoy the local kitty and grab some coffee or banana bread at the cafe nearby!

This was a fun final food stop on our trip on the road to Hana. The coconut shrimp was good, the fish was good. The staff running the food trucks were all very nice. We grabbed some banana bread from the little store and thoroughly enjoyed every last bite. It's a must stop to stretch your legs and nibble on some fresh seafood.
