Healthy, sustainable, organic, delicious fruit! We bought the sampler platter and enjoyed eating it under the bamboo trees on the property by the fruit stand. All the fruit we tried was grown right there on the farm. I also bought homemade hot sauce to take home and enjoy every day. This place is absolutely delightful! Another amazing stop on the Road to Hana.

A great place to stop for some fresh fruit. Also, one of those only places where you can find something to eat or drink after half way to Hana. They have fresh Coconut water, freshly squeezed Orange juice, passion fruit juice, berries, and all kinds of fruits. The farm is right behind the store and they have a walking trail if you are interested to take a peek.

This was truly the most magical place ever. We met Marley, the kindest most gentle soul. She suggested the strawberry papaya, and it was truly the best of its kind. We also picked up some coconut desserts and the coffee… you will never have better coffee than at Laulima Farm. It was truly exceptional. We also picked up a few apple bananas and enjoyed the beautiful trail. You will absolutely be missing out if you don’t stop at this gem! Thank you for the most wonderful time!

If you make it to Hana the extra 10 miles of rough road is worth it. If you make it to the Kipahulu N.P. the extra one mile is a must. Order the fruit plate. You will see and taste totally unique fruits. Ask questions. The wonderful lady behind the bar will answer with a great smile. Take the short walking trail. There are some totally unique plants to see. Yes, they have an espresso machine. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

Amazing stop along the Hana Highway! Really great fruit options, fun straws, jewelry, and a great little nature path! I didn’t get a picture, but theres a very lovely table in the shadows/grove of a tree that would be a lovely place to eat the fruit you buy at the stand! There was also a really good tea with fresh pressed coconut milk that they offered when we stopped by. Super yummy and glad we stopped by!

One of my favorite places on Planet Earth. The vibe is so welcoming. The woman that helped us choose our fruit was knowledgeable and so friendly. We had a fruit platter that she sliced up right in front of us. The fruit was picked from trees in plain sight. The location is perfect, about 3-miles from the National Park Entrance. We had chilled coconut milk, straight out of the coconut— she used a machete to chop it open. Once we drank the milk, she gave it another chop so we could eat the meat inside. Between the coconut milk and the fruit platter, our bellies were full so we set off to hike the bamboo Forrest and the water fall. Once we finished a 4-mile hike, we were ready to eat again. This time we returned for chilled mint tea and popcorn made to order. It was the best popcorn I’ve ever had. Sweet cream butter, coconut oil, sea salt, and some type of seasoning — served up in a giant paper bag. Absolutely wonderful. The construction of the stand was really interesting. Bamboo, bright colors, shutters with a weight and pulley system of rope and stone — all natural — very “Smith Family Robinson”. The woman that served us was running the fruit stand and she said the owner also built the tree house that she lives in. The photos I’ve taken don’t do it Justice. Ordering the fruit platter is a great idea because you get to “try before you buy”. The star fruit, papaya, and some type of super sweet and juicy orange-tangerine type fruit were my favorites. I would stop at Laulima Farm Fruit Stand anytime I visit Maui. The drive is amazing, the ambiance at the stand with the clever bamboo seating areas, zen gardens, and fantastic fruit — it was one of the high points of our trip to Maui. They had a nice local honey sample pack with winter, summer, and macadamia blossom varieties that I recommend. The kindness, the owners story (he’s passed away), and the general nature of the place are exactly what I had hoped Hawaii would be.

This place is an absolute treasure! Well worth the 5 minute drive past the Haleakala park entrance. We stopped in after completing the Pipiwai hike in the national park and were so happy we did! Marleigh was working and greeted us with a big smile and warm energy. She encouraged us to walk around the farm, taught us about the wide variety of fruits they grow on site, she made us homemade popcorn, and a delicious latte. She was a delight to chat with and it was such a treat to experience the magical atmosphere and products they have created at Laulima Farm.

My husband and I had a lovely experience at Laulima Farms while waiting for the Road to Hana (past Hana) to reopen. There was a very helpful young lady who sold us beautiful fruit and very tasty coffee. We enjoyed our treats at a rustic table surrounded by tall bamboo waving in the wind. We then took a stroll on the trail behind the stand while enjoying the beauty of the fruit trees, clean air and the resident cat we dubbed Tripper. It was a magical suspension of time during our afternoon in Maui.

We stopped by here on the way to Hana. Small cute shop where locals come visit hanging out. Everything is farm to table, and the fruit plate we had was so so great. I never had many of them in my life! Instantly boosting your sugar level and energy. Coffee was home grown and it was good too. This place is cash only. We were about to bounce to hear it’s cash only because we did’t have enough cash. Then a local guy drinking coffee there insisted he pay for us because he really wanted us to try their coffee and fruits. How touching! We really thank him for his nice offer and for this reason we won’t forget this place! Until we meet again

This was one of my favorite things about the road to Hana (past Hana) trip we did while in Maui. The girl working there was friendly, knowledgeable, and told us all about what types of fruits they have and the best way to prepare them. We tried the fruit sampler plate and it was absolutely delicious! Some of the best fruit we’ve ever tried, and all grown right there on the property. Definitely worth the extra time to drive there!

It was a great place to stop. We walked around and it was fun. Lots of plants growing everywhere. After a bit we received our fruit sampler which was pretty cool. We also received the instructions on what/ how to eat everything and we dug in. Honestly the fruit was good and we tried things we never ate before. It was a fun time in a relaxing place. If you on the road to Hana, stop because you’ll need a break and the food/experience is worth it

amazing place. loads of fresh fruit. be sure to ask if you are curious about any of the fruits - the service is friendly and she will tell you what a ripe fruit looks like and how/when best to eat it. limited seating (one table, some bar seats, and a private table enclosed by walls of bamboo growth! the bamboo as straws for the coconuts are a wonderful touch. love this place so much. definitely a hidden gem, so happy we stumbled across it.

Stopped by on our Road to Hana journey. It's small and quiet, with some locally grown fruit. They run on island time, so don't expect service to be super quick, just grab a seat + relax + enjoy the sounds of nature. We got a sampler plate-- highly recommend. My favorite was the strawberry papaya.

This is a hidden gem! We expected to pick up some fresh fruit, but were pleasantly surprised with the option to order a farm-fresh fruit platter (highly recommend doing this) and beverages. We were lucky enough to snag a table outside amongst the bamboo, and also walk the trail around the gardens. It is a really special place. Super laid back, and peaceful.

These hippies don't even supply you with a lid for your coffee so it'll spill all over your hands and in your car if you're taking it for the road. I think they fancy themselves environmentally conscious so they only give you a compostable cup. 🤷‍♂️ Guess they don't drive cars with coffee. Coffee was mediocre. Nice dog called Bernard lying and lazing about. No washrooms nor even a porta potty.
