Owner took time to help me find my favorite Aloha Maid drinks. She was so kind and told us different ways to use the drink. With it being Easter weekend, we got to talking about how much we love Jesus and it was just an amazing moment to see her love for her family. Stop by and support this locally owned store while traveling the road to Hana.

The store carries all of the basic necessities, so if you didn't stock up before you left the big towns this is the place to get your good for camping etc. Decent selection of product and a dizzying selection of frozen items for such a small place. They serve a few hot food items right at the counter; hot dogs and chili. Plenty of beer options as well.

Great idea place to get the needed supplies! From sun cream to drinks to cookies. They have a large section dedicated to medical supplies which was nice to have options when you need sunscreen or Aloe Vera for the sun burns. They close really early over the weekend so come sooner if you need to get anything.

Likely the oldest retail shop in Hawaii: 1830.Great selection of the basics in remote Hana with fair prices. Cannot believe I found camping stove fuel (twist on butane canisters, white gas, chief stove LP canisters etc.) especially important since the airline / TSA did not let me carry such...or if I ran out. (Piece of camping mind.) Been coming to Hana for years for work and play.

Great store, omg! If you have vision problems try their Hana Bay Rum. My vision cleared up and I saw perfectly until morning. They have great food, rice, spam, & seaweed wraps, plates, and all kinds of drinks, postcards, etc.

A small but surprising selection. Super friendly folks. My husband had heard a song on the radio all week that he wanted to know the info on. It came on in the store and he went up front to ask and everyone got involved in the discussion. It was fantastic!

A quaint little store up on a hill from the main road. It is the only grocery store in Hana, so selections are limited. However, there was enough for us to plan and buy food for two steak barbeque dinners during our stay. Also, great beer/wine selection!

This is small yet very useful grocery store in Hana. We went to the Waianapanapa State Park for camping, and reached in the evening. Then headed here to buy a lot of essential items for our stay, like paper towel, hand wash, torch etc. The store was closing, when we reached, however they were kind enough to pick us stuffs. Each day morning we used to stop by for morning coffee and small breakfast. The picture I posted here, is the wonderful Christmas decoration at their location.

As we walked up to the store a group of 4 girls were standing right in front of the door, staring at us and making us feel very uncomfortable. We walked into the store(with our masks on) and started looking around. The girls then came into the store and demanding we come back to the entrance to use hand sanitizer. We complied. As we were walking up to the front, they were whispering and laughing at us. One of the girls was joking to another to “put your mask on!” Funny how the same people making us feel uncomfortable weren’t wearing masks themselves. My girlfriend and her brother both felt very unwelcomed and asked that we leave. I ended up buying a Gatorade and the guy behind the counter was friendly which is why gave it a 2 star. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re not a local.

Small friendly, priced according to location. They had cold items which was refreshing. And the hotdogs seemed tasty / affordable tho I didn’t have one.

We found a little local secret here! The cheapest meal in Hana: chili with a hotdog on rice. We only got a big bowl of chili and it was a little over two buck. Can’t beat it!!

If I'm getting an early start into Hana and Mana Foods in Paia wasn't open when I passed by yet, I make sure to buy my lunch from the Hana Ranch store. Gotta get my Chili dog. They got plenty snacks, too. And alcohol if that's your thing.

Very expensive place. $15 for 2 bottles of 1 gallon water. And the tricky part is that most price tags are either missing or mismatched.
