Beautiful location, ok staff (seems like they are trying), average cocktails, below average food (poor if you consider the cost), and similar price to others in Hawaii. Food was surprisingly bad. The swordfish was like gum. Now the staff replaced it quick but still was pretty chewy. The sauce was decent. Poke bowl was $30 and small, but actually very tasty. Brussels sprouts very oily but tasty too. Wish I went to the food trucks instead. Avoid, or just stick to burgers and fries or something

There are not many sit down restaurant choices in Hana. Thankfully this restaurant had excellent food. Surprisingly our party of three all ordered the swordfish special. This was cooked perfectly and the fish was so buttery good!! Decent portion sizes. The veggies were fresh but I would have removed the outer (paper) skin from the bell peppers after roasting. The Moscow mules were wonderful too! I ordered a piece of lemon cake to-go and even the next morning it was full of flavor and not soggy! We enjoyed the somewhat limited view and the beautiful Hana breeze.Wheelchair accessibility: There are small ledges (mini-stairs) that could cause concerns for some in wheelchairs or with walkers. A potential trip hazard.

The food trucks across the way had just all closed for the day so we wandered to the Hana Ranch. Wow!! So glad we did. The Heart Beet Salad was awesome. I added the grilled shrimp. The house made dressing was amazing. My daughter had the Poke bowl. Said it was the best she'd ever had. And she has had many, many Poke bowls. My only disappointment was the margarita. A little too sweet for me. Next time I'd just get a vodka tonic. But, wow, that salad. It sure left a memory!!

After a long trip down the Hana Highway we were thankful for anything to be open. Almost everything is closed right now due to low traffic, and everything else closed earlier than the hours state. The food here was just ok, but they were open! Vegan curry (which is the Hawaiian version of having a vegan risotto or salad) and fries. Fries and onion rings were not the best. The curry was good but predominantly made of green pepper. My partner really enjoyed their ribs.Vegetarian options: there is a vegan curryDietary restrictions: vegan, dairy free and egg free option

We ate here twice while staying overnight in Hana and were not disappointed. The view and the atmosphere were relaxing after the ride to Hana and the food was delicious. The service and presentation were timely and on point. The servers might could have smiled a little more but all in all this was a great experience.

We stopped in here after a long day of travel, not much was open, it’s was an average building but the food was delicious!I would definitely recommend!

This is a nice restaurant to visit in Hana. Not a lot of choices, but a good variety, especially considering how far away it is from different sources of food. The view is amazing of the ocean. I just got a spicy chicken sandwich which was good but nothing spectacular. I would imagine their specials like their locally raised steak and fresh caught seafood would have been better.

Stopped here between lunch and dinner. Had the catch or the day, sword fish with curry risotto. It was fantastic! Another in our party had the spicy chicken sandwich, also very good. The menu is small and prices are on the high side but the food was good and it was nice to have somewhere inside to sit on a rainy day. They also have a patio for warmer days. Would definitely come back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were good.

We’ve been here a couple of times now and the food has been consistently good. The butter lettuce salad we amazing and my wife loved every bite of it. My daughter really liked the big chuck of fish on the fish sandwich and liked the bread it was on too. My other daughter liked her Mac and cheese and specially commented on the goodness of the cheese in the Mac and cheese dish she ordered.I got the burger, but had the nice server put the blue cheese from the salad on the burger. It was great and made it something out of the ordinary. The service was good and the place was clean. If you have to use the restroom, they will give you a super secret code on a tiny piece of paper. We thought is was a little too Mission Impossible for such a little, out of the way place like this.“This message will self-destruct in five, four, three......”. 😉

When you read about the food along the road to Hana, food trucks are typically the recommended options. We took a chance and decided we wanted a sit-down option and were blown away with the Hana Ranch! Our party of 9 got a variety of items off of the menu and every single one of us walked away so satisfied. The fish sandwich and mango passion fruit cheesecake was unreal. I ordered the grilled fish meal off of the kids menu for my daughter and the portion size was huge!Another huge plus was the super clean and private bathrooms they had on site.Kid-friendliness: Water was served in a plastic to go cup with a straw to help reduce spills. We also got a colouring page and crayons for her. Kids portions were absolutely huge; great value for money!

Limited locations to eat in Hana on a Sunday and a holiday (New Years Day). This was the only place to eat in Hana while driving through. The views were fantastic and the service friendly. The food was okay. Not our fare, but for some this place would hit the spot

Stumbled upon this restaurant off of recommendation, and loved every bit of it! I had the burger, which was Ono! My wife had the Kalbi ribs, which were incredibly delicious!Next time we’re in Hana will definitely be back!

Great little gem. Belongs to Hana Maui (Travasaa) resort. But lunch & dinner is now served at Hana Ranch Restaurant. We got there for late lunch around 2pm - they are open an afternoon until late dinner (i believe 8 pm).THE FOOD:We ordered a Teri Burger and Fish Burger. They come with side of fries or garden salad. And i never thought i would say this but i wish i had gotten the side salad because the fresh lettuce leaf on my fish burger was the best lettuce I've ever had in my life. I know that sounds hilarious, but it was so good!!!The fish on fish sandwich/burger was perfectly cooked and the brioche bun super fresh. The Wasabi Aioli was a perfect touch for the fish burger.Teri Burger was great, too. The entree food was excellent.Ordered the Cheesecake for dessert (our server said Mango cheesecake but the menu said Lilikoi) and i have to say for $15 it was a bit of a letdown. Couldn't really taste the mango or Lilikoi. Presentation was beautiful, but taste was just a normal cheesecake with a hint of a tropical flavor of some sort.I'm still giving 5 stars for food rating because the main dishes were perfection.THE VIEW:Nice view, but street and & power lines in front so somewhat obstructed view of ocean. Outside terrace is nice but be aware some flies may start bugging you when the food comes out.Restrooms are outside and locked with code so only restaurant visitors can use. Hostess can give you little piece of paper with code on it. No soap, only hand sanitizer to wash hands with, but i guess that'll do. Hot water didn't work or was turned off in women's restroom.Vegetarian options: Tofu curry on the menuParking: You can park right in front of restaurant - after your turn into the driveway, go a few feet up the hill and turn left (follow the signs for restaurant).

Food us mediocre, but conveniently located. Long wait for food after ordering. We had some poke appetizers, a teriyaki grilled chicken for adults and kids grilled chicken (they're exactly the same, by the way, just different pricing). Good breeze from the ocean 🌊, but you can pretty much find the same atmosphere throughout Hana anyhow.

Delicious food, good number of choices with plenty of healty options, Hawaiian staples and inspired one and standard American ones. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating, tons of parking, a bar, nice ambience, and views. Prices are slightly above average ($20-30) and quantities are decent. Our favorite dishes were the loco Moco (the gravy was phenomenal), yoga bowl and coconut curry stir fry.Vegetarian options: Quite a few items are there.Parking: Tons of parking availableKid-friendliness: Some items are there like fries and milk

Mediocre food for a really high price.Had the Teri burger and it was pretty generic. They also messed up the done-ness, asked for a medium and the burger came out well-done. My friend's Loco Moco was even worse as the egg was completely done, even though they asked for overeasy.Service was fine and the location is pretty nice. There's a lot of parking spots and there's decent access to Kaihalulu beach.

We were lucky enough to walk right in without reservations after dark. The fish, rice & bok choy dish was amazing! My sister enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. Gluten-free options were labeled well on the menu. Nice family atmosphere even with a bar. Outdoor seating area generally for reservations but plenty indoors and at the bar. Parking is free. I recommend I you are in Hana and want to sit down and have a more upscale meal than a food truck.

The Ranch Restaurant was the redeeming factor of Hana for me. I may not have explored as much as I could've but it didn't seem that bustling of a place, and maybe that's why it's attractive to some. The ranch was nice, it had a full bar, a lovely menu, and incredibly kind staff, shout out to Jay he made my evening. Regardless the food was brilliant, it may have been a combination of the fact we were starving from the drive on the Road to Hana and that it was the main place in town with a presence. Came here for both my Birthday dinner and the next morning before leaving, also because it was the main place open early-ish. No mistakes were made though each menu item was special in its own right and was enjoyed and devoured, rightfully so.

Really yummy food, better then I was expecting! I am allergic to soy though so my options were very limited as it’s a fairly small menu to begin with. We had a lot from here as were were staying at Hana Maui. Very good though! From my pictures you can tell we liked the hummus lol. Didn’t get a picture but the mochiko pancakes were yummy too!
