Longs Drugs Pharmacy HaleiwaIs a large well stocked pharmacy. You can find almost all pharmacy related items plus some food items. The store was clean and lighting was more than adequate.From a Pharmacy Standpoint this is one of the few large North Shore Pharmacies.Staff was friendly and helpful and I found exactly what I was looking for.

Longest process of my life. Employees are brutally slow and make each check out much longer than needed - laughing and making unnecessary conversations when there’s a line with 5+ people in the pharmacy section aloneI even called ahead an hour before and there still was a long wait time

I am always greeted with aloha at this store and considering that the staff deal with all kinds of circumstances with people from all over the world and levels of kindness, I am thankful to be able to shop at this store. They display patience kindness and a high level of professionalism and as well timeliness. Rona, for example always has showed patience when dealing with customers, greets people and myself kindly and even when people are not kind to her she responds with high level of positivity.

This restaurant was amazing. We took a recommendation from one of the locals to eat here. There was a 45 minute wait to be seated at 6:30, but the wait was well worth it. The server came over and made us feel very welcome. He even picked up my 3 month old to calm him down while taking our order. The appetizer was unreal and tasted amazing. It was stingray to our surprise. At the end of the several course dinner, we all decided that it was the best Thai food any of us had eaten. When we were walking out the door, the server asked me to wait as he was taking the order of another table. When he came over, he thanked us for coming to his restaurant and asked about the experience. I thanked him and shook his hand offering my name in exchange for his. He said "I'm Opal."

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had! It is likely you will never find a place quite like this anywhere. When we sat down and did not get served right away we began to wonder why this place came so highly recommended. Then when the owner came to "take" our order we realized he was the only one doing so. It was very strange, but we realized very quickly Opal knew exactly what he was doing as this was obviously his life's passion. He did not take our order exactly; rather, he asked us several questions about previous experienced with Thai food, what we liked or didn't like, etc. Once he got the information he wanted he left and awhile later we had an entire meal brought to us one course at a time. The food was amazing!

Large store, can find most of what you're looking for. There's some horrible screeching sound in the back the entire time, sounds like a broken ac fan. Came back over a month later and the sound is still there, feel bad for the workers that have to hear that all day.

Best Thai food experience ever! Not just food, but an experience. The owner took all the orders and his staff did the cooking. He talked to us about Thai food and then said "I'll take care of you." Awesome food and would definitely recommend.

The owner wouldn't let us order off the menu and ignored us when we asked for specific dishes. He instead interviewed us and chose our food for us, the most expensive "specialties" they had which was full of shrimp that my pregnant wife didn't want to eat (we did tell him she was pregnant). Since we had no idea what we were getting we had no idea what we were going to be charged, and the bill was well over our budget for lunch. This establishment only takes cash so we had to send one of our party to an ATM just to settle the bill. If surprise food and surprise bills are your thing you might enjoy this place, however the food was not good enough to make up for the service.

Now, I will always add any Longs Drugs and give it 5 stars mainly because of my sanity. That was my play of words since I do have prescribed medicine to keep me sanity. Semi-joking aside, this is not my primary source of prescriptions that I use. I use the Longs Drugs/CVS Pharmacy in Hauula to get my medication. However, (and this has happened to me for quite some time) the CVS in Hauula won't have the medicine that I need urgently. That's where Longs Drugs in Haleiwa helps out. If it's not available in Hauula, Haleiwa always pulls through. I very much appreciate Longs Drugs for being in close proximity of where I live.

MAY 3 2021. Went there to pickup a baby formula that was available since April 22. Cashier: we don't have ur order. We only have prescription which we don't need.Me: ok then I'll just get it.Cashier: u have to wait 10 mins.Me: ok no need then coz I don't really need it.Can you check in the back for the formula order.Cashier. No I can't. It's not in the system.Me. I know but we got a call that it's ready since April 22. So please check in the back.Cashier. No just ho in the drop offMe. Ok I hope she can help me but they refuse to look further. So bad service.I informed the Wic office to verify. And got a call back that they spoke to Nellie about it and said it was there since April 22. So I called the longs haleiwa and said it was there.. what is going on in that store. It happens everytime.

Most familiar place for tourists from the mainland. Decent selection of food, pharmacy needs, drinks, and even general merchandise. I am so glad they are here as big box stores are fairly limited on the north shore.

The staff are beyond rude and super slow. If they see you’re in a rush they’ll purposely go slower and make rude comments . I’ve never had a store experience make me cry of sheer frustration only going to pick up one thing .

They are always out of the ad item and there's no one to ask because there's no floor clerk on the floor. They put out sale tags or signs up late. So you don't know what is on sale. Most importantly none of the employees smile

Food is decent. Portion small. Owner asked me more than four times to try his house special. Also wouldn't add a little heat to his pads see ew. Also annoyed the heck outta me by quizzing the customer who sat next to me. Due to it being crowed his ass was in my personal space for like 10 mins. Like dude Im a paying customers too, space please.
