Y'all. My wife and I pulled off here on the road to Hana for something to snack on. We had the tacos, banana bread and some cookies.. we were blown away by the tacos and went on our way to Hana.We literally turned around once we got there to do the long windy drive AGAIN just to come back for more tacos. The meat wasn't fatty and was unbelievably juicy and tender. The cabbage and tortillas were crispy. All topped with a drizzle of sweet baby rays. It's so simple in terms of ingredients but I'll legitimately be dreaming of these.

Must stop road to Hana!! We grabbed food here on our way back from a day of hiking. We were later in the day so almost everything was sold out, but we were able to try the pork tacos! The lady at the stand was so kind, and if it wasn’t a 3 hour drive from our hotel we would have returned (even though we contemplated doing the drive again, just for these tacos)

Set against the backdrop of the beautiful trail to Hona in Maui, Uncle Harry's Outdoor Marketplace is a testament to the power of simplicity. This roadside hub doesn't need frills or fanciful decor to make an impact. Instead, it captivates with a few picnic tables, a welcoming order window, and an undeniable charm that reflects the real essence of Hawaiian hospitality. The staff at the order window, though perhaps not Uncle Harry himself, welcome you with friendly smiles and an inviting atmosphere. It's a roadside shack, but the warmth of the staff immediately makes you feel at home, serving as a beautiful reminder that genuine hospitality goes beyond grandeur and luxury. The food on offer truly celebrates Hawaiian culinary traditions. Prepared with locally sourced ingredients, each dish, be it the juicy Huli Huli chicken, the flavorful Kalua pork, or the satisfying Loco Moco, offers a taste of the island's rich and diverse cuisine. The outdoor setup is uncomplicated - a few picnic tables under the open Hawaiian sky - but it's this simplicity that amplifies the authenticity of the dining experience.Despite its humble setup, Uncle Harry's Outdoor Marketplace doesn't compromise on service. The staff are attentive, ensuring you feel looked after from the moment you place your order to the time you leave. In a nutshell, Uncle Harry's Outdoor Marketplace is all about rustic charm and sincerity. It doesn't rely on the gloss of modern restaurants or the allure of fancy decor. Instead, it wins hearts with its genuine food, earnest service, and a down-to-earth, outdoor setup that lets you enjoy your meal amidst the natural beauty of Maui. Here, the spirit of 'ohana' and 'aloha' is in every detail, creating an experience that's as real and unforgettable as the Hawaiian landscape itself.

We stopped at Uncle Harry's for a bite to eat on our way to Hana. We had the pork nachos and tacos. Very friendly service, the girls were happy to share about history of Uncle Harry's. Great place to stop.

The pork was so amazing, its family owned and the guy working there was so nice to us! He cut us open a fresh coconut that he picked from his own yard. Looking forward to coming back!!

Awesome pork tacos, and the fluffiest malasadas you’ve ever had. Plus the staff is super friendly and more than willing to answer any questions about the Hana region you have.

Great stop on the road to/from Hana. We stopped on the way back before the crowds swamped it, and the food was tasty and fresh, the one lady working was lovely to chat with, and - although, like most stands on the road to Hana, there was no public washroom - the outdoor sink where you could wash up after eating was much appreciated. If they've got the malasadas, GET THEM. These are Portuguese/Hawaiian donuts served on a skewer and they were heavenly. They are simple (sugar coated), but fresh and perfectly fried, with a lovely, subtle hint of vanilla and rum flavour. Some of the best donuts I've ever had, and I'm from a city that is constantly patting itself on the back for its artisanal donuts.A great little stand and highly recommended, especially if you're craving some naughty hot food.

Wifi... we're on T-Mobile which didn't have service on the road to Hana until we reached the southern edge of the island. This little food truck knew how to lure these small business owners in! The banana bread muffins were an excellent perk as well.

Closes @ 3Everything closes around 3 on the road to HanaFor the price of the food, the quality given is very small. Just know this before you stop. What we ordered for $80 was good but I we were hungry as we rolled out heading back to the main part of the island.Parking: It's dirt.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really but it could work if you get a good spot.AlsoThere is NO public bathrooms. Not even for paying clients.

Very friendly staff. The food is also good. They also let us to hand-pick some bananas. It was a great experience.

The pork tacos just okay. The tortilla was a bit greasy. Disappointed with the beans and salsa that seemed canned and portions enough for 2 bites. And they were placed in plastic containers that seemed wasteful when they could have just put them on our plate. The juice of day was also just okay, didn’t taste fresh. The service however was friendly!

Each menu item was roughly $10-$17. The quality of the food was great, and it's a good stop on the way to Hana. There are no public restrooms here. The cheese they use is good (although pretty sure it's just american cheese) and the cole slaw is super flavorful. The sauces at the table are great and their malasadas were perfect. The next bathroom location is about 10 minutes away at a state park, and the next food location is about 30 minutes down the road to Hana.Parking: Parking is right in front of the food truck. There was enough spots open around ~2pm on Thursday.

The first fruit stand on Hana Highway, established in 1975. Uncle Harry's surely has the feel of Old Hawai'i, full of history, and culture.

Pork tacos the best I’ve ever had. The whole family agreed it was awesome/perfection. My son had the pork grilled cheese and said it was awesome also. If your driving to Hanna and looking for a lunch you will be very happy here

The food here is VERY basic. It is like a small upgrade of a lids lemonade stand. It was nice that they had good parking, covered tables, and were friendly. However this is the type of food your 12 year old makes when they are home alone. Hot dogs or nachos basically. It seems like there are much better options. We stopped here because when we drove the Hana Highway back in 2011 there were no options and we wanted to make sure to get some food. Now however there were a lot of other options including huli-huli chicken that we regretted missing, because of this stop.definately worth a pass.

Food was expensive and just ok. Maybe it’s recently just gotten worse or they stopped caring, since reviews from before seem good. Felt like they are just taking advantage of the fact that they are in a good location on the road to Hana and are serving passable and expensive food to make money off of tourists.

Stopped here on the road to Hana, and spent $12 for two small fish tacos on a plain corn tortilla topped with diced mango and pineapple. It wasn’t good. It wasn’t worth $12. It took a long time to cook too since he didn’t want to stop playing his guitar to actually cook the fish for several minutes. I don’t recommend.

Great road side stop. Delicious Banana Bread and Malasadas (small homemade donuts). Others in group had smoothies and they were good.

It's the first food place we saw coming Northeast and starting the Road to Hana trip. I got a kick out of it being so random, and stopped. Glad I did, it was tasty!
