Great place super knowledgeable but the fishes don't have much variety of salt water. Really expensive prices and fishes barely lived for a 2 hour drive home. Little upset about no refunds. I would rather try order fishes or kick the salt water hobby in general. Not worth the money.

A very good fish store if you are looking for more of a selection outside of PetCo. The staff was helpful with answering our questions regarding what species they can get and what they can't get. We were surprised to find that no invertebrates are imported and that no live rock is collected (however it does make sense for keeping people from self collecting from Hawaii waters). The freshwater section had some interesting fish not seen in other stores too! If I decide to setup a tank in Hawaii - I'll get my equipment and fish from here.

I'll stop by on my last day in Hawaii this store is apparently a middleman for a lot of the Pacific and they ship to local fish stores on the mainland because of the volume they sell fish for almost wholesale price but even though they ship out fish by the hundreds they only ship wholesale and do not ship any retail I wish I would have found them before my last day so that I could have arranged to have got some of these beautiful fish ship back home

- I love the setup of this store. When you enter the whole ground floor is dedicated to saltwater, and the second floor when you go up the stairs is all the freshwater stuff. I went there to look around at the freshwater section and they have rocks, wood, aquariums, food, and other freshwater related stuff you might be on the hunt for. They also sell aquarium plants, fish, and on occasion some pond plants.- The fish tanks are well maintained, the staff was nice and I really enjoyed checking this spot out. 10/10 would shop here again.

Recent visit noticed more freshwater fish avail than before. New set up looks great.. staff is amazimg.. very helpful and they know about the products they sell. Clean n very spacious freshwater section.. some good people here ..great selection of aquarium plants and fish food . Oh and yes if your into saltwater fish they always have varieties that you probably won't find at most other shops..

2 level fish store. Saltwater on the first floor and freshwater on the second. Two staircases to reach the second floor. Second floor not wheelchair accessible. Went for freshwater fish perusing. Wider selection of species than you will find at the big box pet stores. Plenty of room left for them to add more tanks or supplies. Beware of items missing price tags. I was caught off guard at checkout, but after a quick price check online, the price was fair and comparable to other retailers for that item. Staff was very friendly and made sure they came up to me to ask if I needed assistance. Will return.

Outstanding spot, a local business that is absolutely worth supporting. So much has been done by the state to make it difficult for them to run and still they continued. Head and shoulders better than any other fish store on the island.

I bought 3 green chromis, 1 humu and 1 golden pilot from these guys afternoon Saturday. We did the drip method to put our new fish in there new home. All fishes are doing well besides the golden pilot that died not even one day. I paid 80 dollars on that fish. So i called coral fish and let them know what happened, and the guy told me theres no guarentee on the fish. Im mean the fish didn't even last one day, but the rest are doing fine, maybe the fish was sick. When we went there to there store we seen couple fishes dead floating in there tank. All i asked if they could atleast give me a different fish didn't have to be worth 80 dollars atleast half the price i was asking for. The guy told me no and there store would be losing money. I had my tank for 3 years now and ive been a return customer all this time. But not no more. Be aware of the fish you buy from them. Fishes are expensive and there are no guarantees in this store.

Chris is such a knowledgeable guy. Seriously an expert in his field.Not only does he give me an answer for every one of my many questions, but he is very humble about it. Usually guys who are experts in niche hobbies talk down to newbies for asking stupid questions, but every conversation with Chris is always respectful, helpful, and understanding.Chris and the others are definitely what make Coral fish hawaii more than just another fish store, it's a place for knowledge and advice too.

Went here and brought a few fish from here on the weekend. In a few hours, one of the fish became withdraw from the others and appeared sick. I believe this fish was already sick when we got it. The fish died 3 days after we got it, which is beyond this store's 48 hour fish guarantee. We won't be shopping here again for fish. Prefer petsmart, which has a more generous policy.

Bummed I didn't know about this place sooner. Excellent aquatics store. Two full floors of salt water and fresh water fish with knowledgeable staff that goes above and beyond. Worth checking out, whether you are just curious about aquatics or are a seasoned veteran.

Very nice selection of freshwater fish and plants. Nice saltwater selection as well, but there were significantly more diseased fish in this section. A lot of the puffers didn't look healthy or the tangs. Maybe putting signage up that they are under observation/nfs if sick? 48 guarantee on freshwater fish. Refund is only store credit. Last time I was there a young girl helped me. She was very knowledgeable and friendly! She was blonde and had shortish hair and was working upstairs. :)

Awesome local fish shop. Huge variety of fresh/saltwater fish.  They are taking all necessary COVID precautions such as wearing masks, wiping down surfaces, and keeping a 6 foot social distance.  I purchased a few fish that seem pretty healthy. Will definitely be back

Went here on a Sunday, not the usual employees working that day. No help upstairs....employee sitting down and on his phone the whole time we were there (25 min). Finally had to ask for some help. Finally went to cashier, then got rung up $30 for a $15 purchase. Cashier was professional and courteous. Price got corrected, but hopefully management gets this fixed.

Spacious store with two levels of fish and supplies. Fish are pretty healthy and the equipment is reasonably priced (for Hawaii).I gave four stars because I have gotten not-so-accurate information once in the past. Everyone can't be right all the time so I still like to make the trip to this aquarium store.

Excellent variety of marine fish, expect and helpful staff. Any fish bought from CFH have come healthy and with no signs of disease or stress issues. Clear they take their quarantine process serious. My only issue has been a lack in variety of inverts. Cleaner shrimps seem to be usually on hand but that is it. However I may be coming to the store when none are in stock. Regardless definitely the go to place for your tropical fish and supplies.

FISH ARE SICK!! DONT PURCHASE!!We purchased 2 goldfish from here, each $22 and within a week they killed every single fish in our tank. These people are selling fish knowing they are sick and capable of wiping out an entire tank... pretty devastating to have lost fish we have had for a year... :(

For being touted as the best on the island hopes were high. Unfortunately the selection of fish was not that great (especially for the saltwater fish). The fish game in Hawaii is severely lacking, but it's to be expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the dry goods stock seemed ample. For those moving to Hawaii with intents of setting up an aquarium it may be best to not deal with the constraints involved.

This tropical fish store is amazing. Two levels, so many fish, both fresh water and salt water. They have everything you need to start or maintain your aquarium and the staff is great.
