We are older and really excited to settle down here in Wrightsville.I loved the conversation with everyone at the hardware store. We feel blessed to be part of this wonderful community.

I was told about the place never knew it was there before By a neighbor and they have everything and they're like Walmart. I really liked the gun shop. They have everything in there you can imagine and sell any kind of ammunition. The one thing I don't like and I can understand in business you have to be protective detective but I Have never been a thief And Is not going I don't believe in it what I didn't like was as I was walking through the store looking around the big guy is like being nosy watching me and that made me feel a little uneasy I don't like that. And I'm an older gentleman And I would never even consider such a thing And it really bothers me that someone would think such a thing about me Now The younger kid that was working the counter along with an older gentleman but not the big guy That was being nosy watching what I was doing The kid was very nice and very helpful and so was the gentleman behind the counter and the lady And you have to realize I've never been in there before I thought it was neat man they had everything that's good to know All I can say is anybody that goes into a store don't like being watched by somebody like I'm up to no good because I'm not that type of person

I love this store. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Plus, they still have layaway. Great prices and outstanding customer service. Keep it up, ladies and gentlemen! I highly recommend this business for all of your hardware needs.

I was happy to find out there was a locally owned hardware store right down the road from a home I recently purchased in this town. Everyone my family and I have encountered has been extremely friendly and helpful. However I was let down when I went to this store. The people that work there which I assume are also the owners and family members made me feel like I wasn’t wanted in the store. I have came into this store 3 times so far over the past 2-3 months and every time they have made me feel like they think I’m in there trying to steal or something. They follow you around the store the entire time your in it. It doesn’t matter which aisle your on you will get a feeling as if someone is staring at you and when you turn around they are either going to be right behind you or at the end of the aisle staring at you. This is very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I understand some people do steal however I have no reason to steal from anyone and I never would steal from anyone or any place. The way they make you feel is very sad and disappointing! Owning a small business ourselves, we believe in supporting locally owned businesses over big name companies, not to mention it’s less than 4 mins from our new home, however, after yesterdays experience my husband and I decided enough is enough and we would rather drive 20 mins to Home Depot rather than be treated like this!

From leaving you alone and allowing you to browse without bother, endlessly, to helping you fill your endless order while providing one on one assistance until accurately and knowledgeably completed, Wrightsville Hardware is a singular star that shines in a sky all it's own. It is the diamond that which all other businesses, not just hardware stores, should strive to be. These folks are awesome, shop here FIRST!!! Probably wont have to go anywhere else anyway!!!

They seemed very rude with their comments this morning. I asked if them if they had a specific part and when they said they didn’t, I was like ok. So I was still pondering what else I could to fix my water pipe because there is always more than one way to do anything. They proceeded to say things I guess he’s looking for something we don’t have and staring at me like I was committing a crime. A very rude and uncomfortable experience.

There's not many things on anyone's hardware list that aren't normally in stock here at this family run business. Allison, Gary and the helpful crew keep hardware sales out front running smoothly while Brian does a superb job back in the gun shop section. Since 2009, I been coming up from Florida and spending at least 3 months each year in the Wrightsville area. This place has always been my "GO TO" store.

Great gun shop.....not interested in the hardware part however it seemed well stocked. Service in the gun store was great, expedited the sale and knowledgeable on all aspects of the inventory
