They didn’t have anywhere near close to the amount of wood that their website said they did. Why didn’t I call ahead? I tried. All Home Depots I’ve been to struggle with customer service/ staffing.

Tim Morris gave my wife and I a different level of customer service and care today. As first time home buyers, we have some big appliance decisions coming up. I came in today, 05/02/24, with a list of random items spewed throughout the store. Due to recent life changes my mind was like scrambled eggs. David (unsure what department he’s in) and another associate approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I gave them the story of what recently happened. David helped from start to finish and I can’t begin to thank him enough for the care and expertise he gave me throughout my time at this location. The other associate helped as well but was pulled away due to other customers. Thank you David and Thank you Andy (SM) for the associates you all have here.-Joe Arnold

Shopping for fall additions to landscape and sprucing up my outdoor space I visited 3 times and found helpful associates ar different hours. Kevin helped me load trees shortly after 6 AM! Ashley and Rory helped me get 6 Arborvitae green giants in my suv at 8 PM. Later I stopped in for pressure treated lumber and Mike B was super helpful. This is my do-it-herself store!Loved it when they gave in person DIY workshops. Now they offer a wide variety of virtual classes. So much to learn and HD helps.Doers get more done because HD opens by 6AM! So much to do and plenty of time with these store hours.

Bought a floor display (because it was the last one) outdoor holiday blow-up which is something I've done at this location twice before. Both previous purchases were boxed and the stakes were included. Well there was no box for this one which was okay but when I asked for the stakes to set it up the store associate said I had to buy them separately which I did because I didn't want to overreact but I feel I should have asked for a manager. I got the feeling they just didn't want to get up to look for them. The display is cute and my granddaughter loves it but I'm dissatisfied with the service and I'm not one of those folks who just likes to complain...

I was in the electrical department and asked an employee where to find the part that I was looking for. He was honest and told me that he did not know since he worked at the service desk, but that he would find someone who could help me. A few seconds later, I was helped by a very knowledgeable employee. This is great customer service! The first employee did exactly what he said that he would do. He knew where to get an answer for me.

As we entered the store, a young white female looked at us and didn't speak but we watched her greet and speaking to other white customers as they walked in.We had an issue with a product that we bought from home depot which was defective. The same rude young lady had to call the manager for the return since we did not have our receipt. They both had 2 different stories, shw said she can return with our ID but the manager said he can't return in and that our drivers license is basically fake. He basically accused us for stealing and said some very inappropriate things to my husband. We were both treated like thieves.We were told by another employee that the same manager who spoke out of line to us is a racist person and many other customers and employees have complained about that particular manager.We have contacted the home depot but no one has yet to get back to us.I'm seriously thinking about posting the video on my social media because I want other people to know that we have been discriminated and treated like thieves! Unacceptable!!!

Entering the parking lot, it may appear that this location has very few parking available but there are sufficient spaces available. Friendly staff and good service while shopping at this location. Most items were in stock. Store was kept very clean and organized. Little to no wait times at checkout. Self checkout was great too.

Pete the greeter gets a zero today for customer service. He was very selective of who he greeted. I even went through the entrance twice to make sure this was not an isolated incident. Please replace this greeter if he can’t speak or treat everyone equally.

Had the unfortunate pleasure of interacting with the customer service manager at this Home Depot named Dan. Dan needs a lesson in customer service. He was immediately judgmental, treated us rudely, and could not be bothered to offer any solutions to our problem. When we asked for recommendations he truly acted like we were idiots. I would not recommend this Home Depot, especially if you’re needing any help at all if he is over customer relations.

I love this store and normally have great experiences here. I am a novice DIY-selfer who relays tremendously on this expertise of the workers here. I have spoke to just about every dept. and each person has been extremely helpful with the exception of one or two sales associate. The reason for my 2 star rating is because this situation went to the store manager, about the poor service of door installation not properly handled by their outsourced company. He basically deflected that he can not manage what happens outside of his store ( I am sure you have some input) because I would not be dealing with R.F. Installers if I had not visited your store. Anyhow, it took 2 months to fix a storm door installation. Do not use RFI for your installation projects. They have no integrity, they failed to show up for at least 6 scheduled appts, along with numerous phone call to the area manager of RFI. Promises made and no follow through whatsoever. Shame on you both but primarily, Home Depot. I guess I need to start going to Lowes because apparently you don't care about your customer.

I came here for plumbing supplies.Donnie, in plumbing, at Home Depot on 92. EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! This was the most helpful, friendly, polite, knowledgeable HD associate I have ever met. In this day & time, it's refreshing to meet someone who wanted to help us and wasn't on their phone, didn't ignore us, didn't avoid is or groan when we asked for help. Donnie went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations. He went over our list of items and retrieved them line by line, and when neither of ius could decipher our plumber's verbiage, he waited for us to call and went over exactly what the plumber, on the phone, described. SUPER patient with us, and NEVER lost his smile. Once our list was completed, he even double checked EVERYTHING (list and items in the cart) and made sure the list was completed. This is definitely a role model for Home Depot to have and use!

I had a cart full of sink plumbing parts to fix a already poor plumb in from a previous home owner. Greg, the plumbing man, saw my cart and took charge in helping me out. Within minutes, he had my kitchen sink re plumbed with the right fittings. His vision turned out a real professional repair. I’m super thankful for his help. He saved me a great deal of trouble.. I have been coming here for years at least 2-3 times a week. I love everything about it except the paint department. On average I wait 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. Tonight I was there 2 hours before closing on a Monday night. I stood at the paint counter, once again, unattended for 20 minutes. Not a soul in sight except a couple employees stocking paint who just ignored me. I recommend anywhere except Home Depot Woodstock for your paint needs.

This is the worst company for purchasing new appliances online. I bought a new fridge and the people refused to connect the new fridge and disconnect the old one. I paid extra for haul away and they want me to pay someone else to to come out for a additional charge. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCES HERE GO TO LOWES.

An AC unit I needed was not on the floor even though the inventory showed several in stock. Jade realized that they were on a pallet on one of the upper shelves. Jade and Rick spent some time locating and then bringing down the pallet. Their extra effort is so greatly appreciated. Jayden then loaded the unit so that it stayed upright. Jayden also went the extra mile to ensure that I had no problems with the new unit.All of their efforts remind me why I always shop at Home Depot. Thank you, Jade, Rick, and Jayden for all of your help. I appreciate you.

Zero Stars for Home Depot Woodstock's Appliance Customer Service and 10 Plus stars for new appliancesWe bought a beautiful new GE Kitchen Suite from Home Depot in February from a new “Part Time” appliance person named John. We discussed in depth the removal of three of the old appliances and moving the refrigerator to the garage. This was not one appliance, it was the entire kitchen suite at a cost under 4k plus an added warranty on the refrigerator.Over a month later the appliances arrived, via a third party delivery who said removal was not on their work order. Imagine our shock with an old refrigerator in the breakfast area, a stove sitting in the front entry, a dishwasher and microwave in the garage – unacceptable after requesting removal. We felt it was a correctable mistake, so we went back to the Home Depot store in Woodstock on Highway 92 at Interstate 575 where it was bought. A lovely young lady at the Customer Service desk walked us back to appliances where we met the second nice, helpful person who went in search of Valarie Houz, Customer Order Specialist. Apparently, she was the one who could help.Valarie showed up and was overly focused on who the sales person was. She didn’t recognize the initials. We had our paperwork in hand. We were asked if we bought the appliances from that store. You have the paperwork. I remembered the sales person’s name incorrectly, it was a John not a Dave apparently that was important to her – we were told he is no longer employed there. Did I need to know this? Valarie Houze was absolutely no help. She said, “It was delivered today? We can’t help you. If you had called two days ago, we could have added it to the work order. You can call a junk removal company. We don’t do this for anyone after delivery, not just you. It wasn’t on the work order.” Really. We were sent right out the door bewildered (angry) by such bad service.Sad to say, any Customer Service was thrown out the door after the purchase/delivery by Home Depot. Buyer be warned –Do you WANT to spend your hard earned dollars at Home Depot and something as important as removal is left off a work order - YOU will be left with no help whatsoever. If we hadn’t already installed the refrigerator, I would have asked them to come get all of it and bought the kitchen suite at Lowe's. Now left with two sets of kitchen appliances and figuring it out. I do not recommend Appliance shopping at Home Depot - Woodstock to anyone. Go across the street to Lowe's.

Not my favorite home depot to shop at. However, today, it was along the route we were on for our errands, so we made due. The layout is a little unintuitive, and it feels as if it caters more towards contractors than DIY'ers; no big deal.This time, we had the pleasure of working w Donnie and he was fantastic. He communicated w my kids, made them laugh, made me laugh, was all about the project I was compiling items for, and in general went far and beyond what our usual home depot employees typically goes.Donnie made the trip and I'm so happy I stopped here today.
