We like this store, it looks and smells clean, the workers are helpful and the stock is decent. We have purchased fish here several times, they have a good selection of fresh water fish and the tanks are well taken care of. Better than PetSmart and Pet Supplies Plus by far.

Always out of stock at the 2 Woodstock and Canton locations. Makes it nearly impossible to shop online and pick up in store (negating their online promotions). It’s always something.

I've passed by this pet store many times and I decided to purchase a Bunny for my son. Staff was kind of nice the gentleman seemed to be annoyed I was asking so many stupid questions so he brought someone out to answer my question so he could keep doing what he was doing.

This is their fish section .... If you want cichlids this is not the spot. Staff was friendly and helpful and offered to buy me what they didn't have in their limited supply but it was a waste of trip and no one answered the phone when I called.

This cute little place is awesome! Super quick & friendly service. I never have to wait for anything. However, they don't carry all types of products for lizard terrariums and only sell crickets by the dozen. But still good!

Such a nice experience when my girlfriend and I visited to buy some stones and live plants for our turtle tank. The 2 employees where more than helpful and knowledgeable with any questions we had. Both the girl and guy that helped us where just simply great employees! Thank you!

I went in just to check the price of an aquarium, but I have to say their fish livestock looked very good with very clean tanks. You don't often see that in big box stores.

I am here about 1-2 times a week buying food and other items for both of my babies. All of the employees that I have encountered have been very helpful and very pleasant. There is one woman who has this cute, short, spunky hair and is the sweetest thing ever! I did not catch her name. They carry amazing food brands that the larger chains don't even have. The membership is also great because once you buy 10 bags of the same food, you get one free! Will continue to bring my business to them and continue my long list of referrals! :) Another great thing is that they have a donation bin for the local animal shelters! Love when businesses give back to the community. Would give you more stars if I could!!

This place is terrible. I’ve had awful expierences multiple times. Once I went in and they had two male beta fish in the same tank attacking each other, when there was plenty of available spare cups they could’ve placed one of them in. I asked to buy one of the fish to save it’s life and the lady wouldn’t sell it to me because I was 17. The ferrets cages are always covered in poop. The reptiles cages are bare and don’t even meet the minimum of requirements for care. There are always dead fish in the aquariums, I’ve heard them give out pretty terrible advice about dog and cat food multiple times, but that’s to be expected with untrained pet store employees. But when they are standing around talking meanwhile the animals are living in feces is absolutely horrible. Now on to the employees, there is one red headed girl that is the only one who seems to care. Everyone else even the “manager” are extremely unprofessional. I’ve given this store multiple chances and hate when I HAVE to come in here. I was so excited when they opened thinking they’d be better than petsmart and closer but they’ve proven otherwise and I truly hope they get shut down.

The staff here is terribly uneducated on the animals they sell. About a week ago my buddy took me along when he bought his bearded dragon, as he's new to reptiles. As an avid reptile keeper of animals ranging from beginner to extremely advanced levels, I went to help him purchase the proper husbandry requirements for the animal, and the animal itself. The girl working questioned why he was purchasing calcium sand substrate (which is specifically designed to be safe for ingestion by bearded dragons without a high risk of impaction), and encouraged him to get 'reptile carpet' as it's easier to maintain (apparently having zero knowledge that reptile carpet leads to pulling out of claws and toes in lizards of all sizes, and does not conduct heat to provide for underbelly temperatures). She recommended very subpar lighting and heating advice. She then tried to charge him for a 'fancy', when it was without question a normal bearded dragon with no special or abnormal markings or genes, and when I told her that, ALL 3 employees had to look it up in a book. Bearded dragon care (and especially identification) is among the most basic level of care in reptile keeping. It's not only embarrassing how uneducated the staff is on basic care for the very animals they sell, but it is exactly the leading cause in premature and unnecessary deaths of animals in captivity, along with ill-informed keepers who are new to the hobby and trust pet store employees to provide PROPER husbandry advice for their animals. It is such a shame, the lack of appropriate training required for pet store employees. These are lives, and whether sentient or not, deserve to be kept and sold by people who care to know what the hell they're doing. And it starts with pet store employees.

I visited Pet Supermarket and was assisted by a young lady by the name of Tori who went above and beyond to provide outstanding service and help me with my dog who was having dietary issues and was able to provide professional attention and resolution for our dog! Never have I been provided this level of service anywhere else not even at Pet Smart no offense. Plus the knowledge-base Tori has is invaluable when it comes to pet care and dietary needs! I love the selection of dog toys, I feel like they have more of a variety than petsmart. Prices are about average for a pet store I suppose. A few days ago, I was greeted when I came in by a young lady at the register. But was not spoken to again, until I got to the register. I was asked if I was a VIP member, I said no, but did not get an invitation, he just scanned my items, told me the total, I scanned my card and he handed me my bag. That was it. Young man seemed annoyed to be there.

I did find the people very friendly and helpful, but I have to add that I had many problems with their tropical fish. I've recently relocated here and have successfully had tropical fish for many years, rarely loosing any. 2 weeks ago I purchased 22 new fish. 5 died within 24 hours, all the same breed, and over the next week 4 more died, this morning I see there is another very weak. As I said I've had (large) tanks for years, all the chemicals are correct. The water sat and was filtered for over a week prior to adding.

I routinely shop here. The location is convenient and William knows me by name. Very friendly. I'm not a "shopper" so price is not usually a concern but having my pets food in stock is! I have not had a bad experience with this store or staff as of yet.

Recently moved within a mile of Pet Supermarket. I have several pets (cats, gerbils, chinchillas, tarantulas, etc...) and this store has everything I need for everyone. The convenience is a dream, and the people are super nice! 10/10 would recommend as a one stop shop for the creatures in your life.

Honestly, I'm able to get much better assistance here than at the bigger stores. Tony at the one in Woodstock is fantastic. He has helped me several times in different areas that were a bit convoluted because of product changes. Typically everyone is really friendly and will go the extra mile.

Friendly and patient staff, I took my niece and nephew there a few days before Thanksgiving, as they were trying to decide on a new type of pet they would ask santa for....after an hour of holding ferrets, hamsters, birds, they decided on a hamster...they actually wanted a ferret, but I knew my sister would never go for the smell, so teddy bear hamsters it is... The guys there were so patient and answered their questions and have good advice!!!!!! The store has a good selection and decent prices, just wish they has saltwater fish since they carry supplies for them!

Drove to this store as was convenient for our onward journey. We went here to wash our dog at the Self-Serve Wash stations. The website states they have this service.... They DO NOT OFFER THIS SERVICE.Waste of time and my dog went to the vet smelly. After having an accident in his crate this morning he smelt bad. With no time to go anywhere else I was left very embarrassed and disappointed.I'll just have to go somewhere else. I gave two stars because the staff were apologetic and seemingly sincere.

This store provides an excellent source for top quality, reasonably priced pet foods that you cannot find in the local grocery stores. They also have great sales and do a promotional coupon if you sign up for their loyalty card. The staff people are friendly, helpful too. I highly recommend this store!

This location has great staff and good selection for all of our dogs. Regular coupons and buy 10 get one free on big bags of dog food. Also they have periodic vet clinics which are pretty affordable.

I went to this location today to buy something. I needed bedding for my animals. They had only two people working behind the counter. No one would help me. I had a quick question, and then I was verbally assaulted by a customer and the employees said nothing and they did nothing. They allowed this old man to speak to me in a way that made me very uncomfortable. I don’t appreciate how I was treated. I am a frequent customer have been for years. Do not go to this location, because the people who were working do not care about anyone in the store.

This store is a mixed review. The staff is AMAZING. William, Rebecca, and Jim go out of their way to support their customers. My only complaint is their manager. He is a blight upon an otherwise great experience. I have spent over $1,000 over the last 8 months and Quad (yes, thats the manager name) has been rude and dismissive in every encounter. Unfortunately, Pet Supermarket has lost my business as long as he is manager.
