I ordered a cookie cake for Sat 5pm. Placed order on Wed via phone and went in and paid same day.... went to pick up and they did not have my order.... what an inconvenience was told I could wait 2 hours or refund , obviously need refund to see if I can go and find another cake... this is not ok and the girl was rude... I will be reaching out to store manager...

I just can't thank yall enough. My son always wants me to make his birthday cakes. I couldn't make one in time for his birthday dinner and ordered from yall. It looked AMAZING and he was so happy. It was the best cookie "birthday" cake. Thank you for being a mother's helper and making an 11 yr old super happy!! Recommend to everyone in a pinch. Quick turn around and take what you order and make it better than you expect.

I ordered a birthday cake around noon to be picked up by 4:30 and the lady took my name and phone number. I call back around 5 as I’m on my way to pick up the cake when the manager (Ambria I believe her name was) tells me there is no cake and they will not be able to make one since it is too close to closing time (I called another location immediately after in which they had the cake done within the hour). She said I had to pay for the cake in advance for them to start making it and the lady that originally took my order is the owner’s daughter and has made the mistake of not telling the customer this several times before. I ordered a birthday cake the month before from the same location where I paid in store after the cake was done. I asked to speak to the owner which she said “the owners just pay the bills.” She did apologize but was adamant that they would not make the cake today. I filed a complaint with this store and there was no response.

Ordered our Cookie cake for kids party. Got the sugar cookie one. It was perfect, done on time, and was really yummy!! Definitely will be back again as my son loved it... he doesn't like cake!!

I ordered a cake for my husband's 40th birthday. They put 4th instead of 40th. I didn't catch the error because there was so much going on, my kids were cranky, it was pouring cats and dogs out, and we were in a hurry. I checked my online order, and it was definitely correct. Lesson learned-always double-check their work before you leave the store. I was really embarrassed but he got a kick out of it. It still tasked good!

I am so disappointed in the Great American Cookie Company at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta. I planned a ninth birthday party for my daughter and six of her friends at the Outlets to have a mall scavenger hunt and then celebrate with cookie cake at the food court. I ordered the cookie five days in advance of the event. We arrived at the outlets, completed the scavenger hunt and then, went to get the cookie cake. I arrived at the door with a handwritten note that simply said "closed for unexpected repairs". I did not receive a phone call, email or any notification that the store had suddenly closed. I was charged for the cookie cake at the time I placed the order. Yet, I was not notified at any time that they would not be able to fulfil the order. I had to call the store the next day to request a refund. While I understand that things like this happen, I do NOT understand why I was not notified. I was not able to make any last minute arrangements without any prior notice. This is extremely disappointing to me. The store has agreed to refund the money, but only said that they were just really dealing with a lot because their oven broke. I imagine that on a Monday - they did not have a lot of birthday cake orders. I should have received a phone call the minute that they realized that the oven was broken and orders could not be fulfilled.

Went in at 7:20pm, hours say open till 10! Wouldn't make more of the flavor I love. Strawberry Crinkle, -only had 2! With almost 3 hours til closing! I've been told they can make the cookies in less than 30 min by another employee. Very mad.

I ordered a cookie cake for my friends birthday and it was clearly overcooked, way darker and hard to touch compared to the others that they were decorating and every single one we’ve gotten before. I’m in there almost every week buying cookies and we buy their cakes several times throughout the year for birthdays/holidays and have never run into an issue with such poor customer service or one being overcooked until today. I asked if they could re-make it and Kelly said no and insisted that it was not over cooked, i Was told by another rude employee(Brandy) “in the future I suggest you take your business elsewhere” which is NOT how you speak to a paying customer especially such a frequent one. Super disappointed and upset with how they treated me. It was very rude and unacceptable for such a well known business.

Went inside to buy cookies today, all the shelves were full of the different flavors but was refused when I tried to buy the special - buy 10 get 3 free and I only like the one flavor, was told I was not allowed to purchase all the same flavor. I have shopped at this location since they opened and have gone in 4 or 5 times a year to purchase this same thing, never had a problem before but they have lost a customer forever now. Plenty of stock on the shelves and I was the only customer in the store. Employee could have cared less if I shopped at this store or not. Good luck if you go there, I guess the cookies are just for looking at

Sure wish it said on the website that they don't take anything larger than a 20.... smhDrove 15 minutes out the way... order came out to $19.86 even poured the drink just for her to say that ... And there's nothing on the door that says such thing... I'm very disappointed but not because of this but the fact that my daughter couldn't get her snacks for our road trip...

Well I placed an order online the day before to be ready at 3:45 on 3/6 and I got here and asked and got attitude about it being under another name and then she looked in the receipts and it was not even done. 2nd time this has happened. Incredible frustrating when you were planning to run in and out

Came in last week to fix a sweet tooth while doing some after Christmas shopping. Although not many were wearing masks around the mall, I was very impressed by the fact that every employee had a mask on.. and properly for once! Jennifer was super friendly and was able to break down how to order a cake for an upcoming event. It was a quick and painless process and the cake was ADORABLE and EXTREMELY FRESH. Would definitely recommend for any occasion- who doesn’t love cookie cake?

Please do not purchase from this location. I entered this location, and there was a white female up front that walked to the back as I entered. She didn't greet me, and I had to wait until one of the other employees turned around to service me. No one greeted me when I walked in. By far the worst customer service I have experienced. I will never purchase a cookie, nor will I allow family and friends to give business to this location.

If you go during the week during the daytime it is great. Nights or weekends you can forget it. Also their hours NEVER match what it says online. Doors are locked one hour early and employees just stare at you through the window. Not sure why they wouldn’t be open if there’s employees are inside. This has happened to me multiple times.

My favorite place. I look forward to getting 2 cakes every year. I get a cookie cake for my birthday every year from here. Now what I didn't know is if you go in and you pick out cookies they will put the filling in the middle for you, that's a game changer and it's so good.

Their customer service is awful. My husband and I bought our gender reveal cake there which had been on display so clearly we expected it to work, it did not. I emailed the company to let them know it didn't work in case others that saw it on display ordered it as well. After a week and a half of no reply I decided to call the store to let them know, the manager proceeded to say "oh we know, we got your email." I was in shock they received my email yet we had not received a single apology. Next time I'll spend $10 on a balloon reveal instead of a cake you have to peel apart to see the color.

Visited today to purchase 3 pieces of the cookie cakes that look like pizza slices. Only had 3 left, what I needed, but I specifically asked the woman working if they were fresh or left over from another day. She said were from yesterday, but they always keep the cookies for 2 days. I thought ok, might be ok. Trust me, not ok. The cookies were very, very dry. Totally disappointed as I purchased these for some very special kids.

I ordered a a 54 dll cake online.When I went to go pick it up I tried to pay with a $100 bill. The attendant wouldn’t take my payment because she said the bill was to big and was not allowed to take bills higher than 20. I had to walk to 5 different stores to try to get Change, nobody had any: I had to drive all the way back home just to get change. They should take bills higher than 100. Specially if I am paying for a 54dll cake.. I understand they might do it for security reasons, but really is a cookie store nobody is going to try to rob it.

Amazing cookies but the store either needs to update either hours online or their employees are closing up 2 HOURS too early!! We got there at 8:04 and their doors were locked even though it says they close at 10pm! Pregnant and NOT HAPPY!!

Website advertised store closes at 10pm….we arrived at 9:25 and the lights were on, several employees inside, but the door was locked and the employees just stared at me. I mouthed to ask if they were closed and the guy just shook his head yes. Seems like they just locked up early, so they missed out on business from 6 people and I wasted a 20 minute drive here.

Got a text from them with 10$ off and guess what, the manager gave me a bunch of attitude and wouldn't take it. They keep doing this at each allocation I go to. Why send me coupons that don't work anywhere? Also the manager's mask was of course under her chin the whole time and this place was dirty. Typical GAC experience. Avoid.

I was VERY disappointed in my purchase. They spelled “birthday” wrong... my cake ends up saying “happy birtday”. Not only that but there’s no way to get in contact with them about this. I called the store and they didn’t answer me and so I go online to check if there’s an email address or anything but no. I’m not one to leave reviews but it did make me incredibly upset. Regret not checking before leaving store.
