Even though I am not a regular client at Winterville Animal Clinic, I was referred to Dr. Anna for acupuncture treatments for my then 14+ year old pup. From the first phone call and appointment, I have always felt at ease and welcomed at this clinic. Dr. Anna and her assistant Nicole have always been so kind to Motlee and me. In addition to treating Motlee’s mobility issues, Dr. Anna was always looking for different ways to help improve Motlee’s quality of life. The acupuncture helped a lot, but unfortunately I lost Motlee in November at the age of 16+ years. With her passing, everyone at Winterville were so kind and compassionate. If you are looking for a veterinary clinic to provide exceptional care for your pets, I highly recommend Winterville Animal Clinic.Aimee Boyd

Every experience at Winterville is a pleasant one. However, this last visit takes the cake! I had to schedule an emergency visit with the expectations I would be waiting of course. The whole appointment lasted less than a hour! I met the vet assistant Denise and Dr. Shiver who went out of their way to answer my questions, consider and discuss options, and treat my dog today with such care. Highly recommend. I been coming here for 6 years now and absolutely wouldn’t go anywhere else for my furbabies. From an appointment to an emergency visit they always will work something out for you and very affordable compare to other clinics. Since i moved out of the area I still drive 1 hr+ to come here and their staff will save me a drive by responding via emails/pictures and give me a solution to any problem w my dogs

1st time as an adult I have a Cat-i took Zoe to Winterville Animal Clinic last year to get her fixed and for her shots they were super super polite and answered all my question never making me feel dumb to anything I asked and never made me feel rushed. Took Zoe back today bc I had some concerns and once again-the tech that came out to get her was so nice and treated Zoe like she is one of their own. Dr. Anna came out to talk to me about all my concerns and I left feeling so greatful that I have this Vet to take Zoe to. Easy to schedule appt on line-, got in to see them quickly did not have to wait past my appt time they are wonderful!! I cannot say enough great things about the place! I would recommend again and again. I will not be going anywhere else in the future!!

Brought my 3 babies here for their health certificates for travel. They were very nice and friendly! Would recommend this establishment for anyone with pets! They are very gentle and thorough with their exams!

I drove my dog 5 hours and two states to get major knee surgery at this clinic because I believe in what they do. Their staff are dedicated, skilled, and compassionate. Their prices are extremely reasonable. They care more about your pet than making money or looking fancy.

I highly recommend Winterville Animal Clinic. My furbaby had to have leg surgery and they treated him like he was one of their own babies. They took the time to explain it all in great length and answered any questions I had. Allowed me to call at any time during the day to check on him. They were all great with him.

Best vet office I’ve ever been to! I’ve been bringing my dogs here for a little over 3 years now, and it’s by far the most affordable place around Athens. I had to switch groomers recently, which meant some new vaccines. The new place I chose has a vet as well and I was quoted about $350 for both dogs to update the vaccines. I called winterville and they were able to get me a quote in under 5 minutes. It was $150 less for the same vaccines. On top of the affordability, they are excellent with my dogs! Myself and my dogs are always treated with kindness. One has even been super weird about getting out of the car lately, and they have been nothing but patient and understanding. I will never take my animals anywhere else, unless I move away from Athens!

BEST VET IN THE AREA!!! Dr. Emily helped my bunny Bugs get healthy again after he started having GI problems. I was really scared, but everything she proved him with helped him get better quickly without a crazy price attached, it was very reasonable. Everybody here are so sweet, they really care about the pets and truly love them. Everybody here adores my bunnies, they get so much love. My rabbit Bugs and I were sitting on the bench waiting to be seen and Dr. Emily squatted down to examine him. She knew he was more comfortable sitting next to me, he was so much more comfortable here than the first time with all the loving and caring staff. I’ll definitely be bringing my cat here from now on, I highly recommend this vet to anybody in the area! Bugs was so relaxed after the vet when returning home, he flopped right down and relaxed. ❤️I’m a nervous pet mom, but trust my pets in their hands and everything they recommend.

They have been great with my furr baby and me. Appointments are scheduled quickly when needed They address any issues with professionalism and are very caring. I've seen 3 different doctors and have been pleased with all 3. But I do stick with one as much as possible. I highly recommend this place. ❤

This is where you need to go if you really care. These people really care about your pets. My little buddy peanut had a swollen face and they got me in in 15 minutes. That's not always going to be the case but these folks go out of their way to accommodate you when possible..This is now my go-to clinic for my furry friends. No need to look any further

Phenomenal. Extremely welcoming and positive environment. I loved how accommodating they were for my family and I. Although my appointment was for one of my rats, the clinic was more than happy to accommodate my service animal throughout the entire process.I also appreciated that they walked me through everything and actively kept me in the loop. A lot of my previous vet experiences included a lot of "talking over my head" and required digging to get explanations for proposed treatment options and courses of actions. That isn't something you run into here.All around fantastic place.

Fair prices. Phenomenal care! The respect and tenderness that Dr. Jacob showed our pup during a VERY difficult visit was astounding.Every employee we encountered was exceptionally professional. This clinic was suggested to me by a Facebook group when I moved to the area and needed and budget friendly clinic to get my dogs vaccines at. Little did I know that our second visit there would result in putting one of our dogs down. It was by choice and Dr. Anna made sure to reassure us it was the right decision in our old man’s case (he was 15). They made him the happiest dog in his last few minutes by filling him up with the best treats he couldn’t have any other time and gave us ample time to say our goodbyes and grieve. I’m so glad we found them and they have made us feel so at home with our doggies there. I can’t suggest them enough!

This is one of the best vet clinics I the state. My fur babies have always been treated with love every time I have been there. The wait time can occasionally be longer than expected but usually because of an emergency. It has a full staff of doctors so you get to see a vet each time and they are all great.
