The staff was so very nice. I felt that my feral cat was in good hands. I appreciate the service they provide for those of us who can't afford a high vet bill to have our pets neutered or spayed, and the work they do to reduce the feral population.

I got a speedy appointment. Everything was booked through text (which is great for me) they stated everything I needed to do a couple days before our appointment. I arrived a couple mins early and waited and the lady who took Max back was very nice. I will say that most dogs do lick wounds so to have a cone ready before you get them spayed/ neutered because they do not offer a cone for your pet which I wasn't aware of and can't find one anywhere.

These people are amazing. I own a farm and people think it's a good place to dump their unwanted cats. I would be overrun with cats if this place didn't exist. They are affordable, accommodating, and compassionate!

First time at Leftover Pets and it was great! I had one female cat and two male kittens all spayed/neutered on the same day. Slightly groggy afterwards but back to normal the next day - happy & healthy! We couldn't even see the scars on the male kittens and the small incision scar on the older female cat healed up extremely well. I'm getting ready to schedule appointments for another two kittens! Kudos to these people for the excellent service they offer at the lowest cost around. Obviously the place is hectically busy in the mornings during drop-off & registration so people should keep their cool, prepare their paperwork beforehand and be patient. Thank you!

Great service! I recently found a kitten living in a storm drain and wanted to get her spayed, but as a college student, I needed a lower cost option. Leftover Pets is affordable and the vet is skilled and very friendly! My kitten hasn't experienced any negative side effects after surgery and her incision looks like it will heal very nicely. Highly recommend!

Leftover Pets was great. We have a stray cat that had an injured paw. It hadn’t been using the paw for 2 weeks. They were very helpful when I called. Answered all of my questions. They told me if I could get the cat there they would treat it. I have never had a cat for a pet and wasn’t sure how to go about getting it there. Susan told me just what to do and even let me come in a get a cage to use to catch the cat safely. They helped the cat and told me how to take care of it once we got back home. The cat was doing much better in 2 days. I would recommend they and would use them in the future!! I’m happy to know that there is someone that will help the Leftover Pets!!! Thank you so much for your services!!!

Great place for low cost spay and neuter, at less then 1/2 what local vets charge for the same procedure. I got a quick appointment due to a cancellation. You have to arrive at 9am for check in and fill out your paperwork. Once check-in is over they lock the doors and no late arrivals are accepted. The staff is fully engaged in the surgeries for the day. Pick up is at 5pm. I got a call at 3pm that my boy was ready and I could pick him up anytime between that time and 5pm. The person who checked us in and out was friendly. I docked 1 a star for the ugly green tattoo marking my pet as having been neutered. It looks messy and I don't feel like it is necessary on a male dog where it is obvious they are neutered. I understand on cats and females dogs where is is harder to tell.

My husband and I rescued two kittens from an abandoned litter. We have hardly had them three weeks and one has an eye problem. Nothing we thought was important because the kitten wasn’t acting strange or having any discharge from the eye. I have use leftover pets before and was very happy with my experience but this time when I left I drove home crying. The morning of drop off I told them that the one kitten had an eye problem and to just watch out for it and they said okay.( I planned on taking them for an actual vet appointment after they were fixed.) When I came back later that day to pick up I had to bring a separate cage, which is fine I understand, but as soon as the door to the back closed the vet started saying inappropriate things and then continued to say that this is a neglect case. Meaning that I have neglected the one kitten with the eye problem and that she would hate to have to call someone. I heard this all through the door of the facility, as soon as the door opened she kept talking and made eye contact with me. I spoke up and said we have hardly had the three weeks and she continued to say “ well don’t worry we haven’t called anyone yet “. I live on a homestead and all of my animals are very important to me. I had been cleaning the eye and taking care of it and the kitten wasn’t acting like he was in pain. He is eating and drinking perfectly and even lets me clean and touch the eye with out any fight. Again I think leftover pets is a great organization but this situation was completely uncalled for. I felt attacked and belittled.In reply- I am treating the eye the best I know how. I have not neglected this kitten. I have an appointment to see a vet after he got fixed which was today. If I was neglecting him I wouldn’t have bothered to bring him in and get him fixed and vaccinated. You have no right to threaten me. why did you send me home with him if you fear for him? This kitten was found on the side of the road and I’m doing what I can. This foundation has no right to belittle me for taking the right actions.

My pets are part of our family. I'm very protective of them. My husband brought one of our Cat's to be neutered to leftover pets. I was worried at first but when I picked her up that day I was so impressed at how much compassion they have and how thorough they are. I loved how they made sure you understood how to care for them afterwards. I and my kitty were treated with great respect. When she came home I thought she would just want to sleep, but no she was up and around after I took her out of her carrier. I cannot express to them in words how thankful I am to them for being so amazing. The price for the surgery and shots are great! Knowing my kitty is so much better off now brings great relief. Highly recommend them!

Brought my two cats in, one for all of her vaccinations who is already spayed and the other to get neutered. When I came to pick them up they told me they put my female cat under anesthesia, until they realized she was already spayed. They then insisted that I made an appointment for her to get spayed when i was positive i didn’t as the receipt reflected that too. She was only scheduled to get her vaccination yet they put my cat under without even checking what her appointment was for. It’s extremely negligent to not check what services were supposed to be done and it makes me question what else goes on behind closed doors. Then i proceeded to get my cat back and she was duck taped in a amazon box with a couple small holes in it. Then they charged $10 for it. I even offered to bring a kennel for her to be switched into but they refused to allow it. Besides this, my male cats surgery went well and seems to be recovering.

Leftover Pets did an amazing job spaying our sweet Reese. Making the appointment was easy. I left a voicemail with all the information they requested. I received a phone call back the next day with the appointment time. When I dropped off Reese the morning of her appointment we were greeted very kindly. Sign in was a breeze. Pick up at 5 went smoothly too. Everyone was super nice. Reese's incision looks great. It's super small. I would highly recommend Leftover Pets to friends and family.

I have brought several cats & kittens to get Spay/Neutered. The price is very good, and can get some vaccines also. They are courteous and friendly. I have not had any problems. They also help find homes for animals destined to be put down. Overall I am very pleased, and would highly recommend them, I'm getting ready to call for another 2 kittens!

I didn't know this place was here until recently. I got my cats spayed and updated shots at a very low cost. The people are very nice and took the time to explain a few things when I picked them up. Now they do have a certain system for making appointments. It seems a little chaotic/difficult but this is a Nonprofit doing a great community service. If you want fast & easy and have the money the go to a Veterinarian & pay 10× as much. I have no complaints at all.
