This was the longest we had boarded our pup and couldn’t have felt safer with him being there. They sent us updates and a photo to give us peace of mind. Very professional, kind staff and nice looking place for pups to stay and play. My only suggestions would be to offer or request a bath if boarding for a longer period of time prior to pick up. He was muddy, no fault to the staff at all, just bad timing with rain. Or maybe outdoor cams so people can watch the play areas. Either way neither of these were a big deal for us, and we are no experts in the logistics of owning/running a animal boarding business, but he loved being there. He came home and slept the rest of the day. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing day care or boarding.

Can't say enough positive things. Huge help for when I work late and want to make sure the woof wood isn't neglected all day. She absolutely loves her time here. Going to this daycare is the equivalent to six flags for her.

We took our dog there and he came back traumatized. When we went to pick him the smell was horrible. We told them he was very anxious and would not do well in a small kennel and was assured he wouldn’t be. When we arrived at the lodge to pick him up, he was in a very small kennel. We noticed a horrible order from our dog and realized poop and urine was all over his body. That told us right away he was not cared for properly. He also had serious problems with his privates being bloody and all the skin missing. He didn’t have any of that until he went to Southern Pet Lodge. After the care he didn’t receive and how he was when we picked him up, I would never take him back or recommend them to anyone.

Our fur baby (taz mania)was a complete mess we could not keep him in the house for long periods of time. he spent most of his time in the garage or in the laundry room.When brought inside he would steel things from the counters , we had to keep all doors closed if not he would make a mess of the beds and take things from the room.The worst was attempting to take him to the vet that was a mission its self to the point of having to place a muzzle on him which he would not allow the moment he saw that muzzle he transformed into an alligator..My husband and I talked about rehoming him but knew that would crush the kids being that we got the dog for them.. A friend told me she had just took her dog to Southern Pet Lodge for bootcamp. When I got home from work I spoke to my husband about it after some research we decided to give it a try and give Tatum a chance.I will say this was the best decision ever!!....Heather and the rest of the staff did an amazing job...Tatum now stays in the home all day goes in his kennel only for bed time he no longer steels from the counters we got him a bed that he now lays on and does not take all the inside stuffing out ..we can now put the muzzle on if need be he sits and lets us put it on ..The doors can remain open with no worries just to mention some changes because his behavior changed 100% for the better in all areas..Im so glad I found this place I give it a 20 start from check in to pick up the experience was great .. I'm so happy we gave Souther Pet Lodge a try we received more than expected!!This will now be our new grooming and on boarding location from now on!

I have a goat and a doodle so sometimes finding places That accommodate both of them can be to be boarded can be difficult. Not only does Southern Pet Lodge board all kinds of creatures, they come home happy and worn out from all the fun things they do... No matter what species fur baby you have!!! And we absolutely love the fact that we can look on their Facebook page and see our goat and doodle having so much fun... and all the other animals as well! We love this place ❤ 🐐🐩

I have used Southern Pet Lodge and I can say that my baby is taken good care of. He always whine when we pull up. He knows he coming to see his lady’s. 😂 I cannot express how owners take care of my baby.

Dana and her staff took in my pup last minute and gave her the best care. I think biscuit forgot I was his mom because he had so much fun! Her crew kept me updated with pictures and texts :) biscuit now goes back just for doggy daycare so he can play. I am delighted to know that southern pet lodge has a grooming parlor right next door! It also makes me much happier to know that the owners live on the premises so the “residents” have round the clock care. I would recommend this place ten times over!!!!!

They take really good care of our babies and we really enjoy using them. Very welcoming and made our dogs feel loved and at home ❤️ also sent us pics to ease our nervousness of leaving them.

We have used Southern Pet Lodge for daycare on several occasions and could not be more pleased! I know they treat our dog well as she is SUPER excited the second we pull up to the long driveway! Pictures are posted on Facebook daily so it's easy to see why she loves it so much!

We took our dog to their lodge and learn they offer and she came back a changed dog. The trainer, Ms. Heather was amazing and did a great job with our normally hyperactive and timid puppy. She is leash trained now and responds very well to the commands she was taught. I would definitely recommend taking your dog to Ms. Heather if you want a good one-on-one training experience. She sent us pictures and videos of our puppy as her training progressed and we are very appreciative of the time she spent with our baby. She truly loves what she does and it definitely shows in her love and care for our puppy during her stay. Thank you!

Our dog enjoyed his stay and we were insanely grateful to find a clean, professional, & friendly place for him to stay. Communication was easy & very responsive which is important when leaving your dog for boarding. Southern Pet Lodge is awesome. Care is tailored to my puppy's needs. Dana makes sure to give you updates with your pup at play. Riley always comes home happy and tired from her stay. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my baby.

Nothing better than having peace of mind when having to leave your fur babies in the care of someone else. Dana and Southern Pet Lodge help alleviate the worry of having to leave your babies. You can feel the passion that they have for all the babies entrusted to their care. Our Ozzy, LOVES his visits at the lodge and all the new friends he makes during his stay. Very clean facility.

I have not had the pleasure of using the lodge, all tho , I do take Sadie Mae to Posh Pet Spa,(located on the grounds) And have known owners for many years. They have a love for your fur babies and treat them like their own.We have always been extremely pleased and she is always excited when her next appointment comes around.I highly recommend.

My mom brought her dogs to this trainer and was advised that they should remain there for three weeks instead of the two weeks she initially planned. Based on the reviews, she was confident that this would be a good fit for her dogs.Unfortunately, throughout their entire stay she didn’t get the promised updates and had difficulty getting in contact with the trainer about the dogs and how they were doing. The trainer’s responses were short and she directed her to the very few videos posted to their Facebook page instead of responding to the text messages with actual details about how the dogs were doing.After picking the dogs up, my mom learned that they were “trained” simply to behave on a pronged leash. She had requested that they work with the dogs on barking and jumping, but those requests were ignored. When she expressed her displeasure, the trainer said that the dogs needed to remain on the leash (I suppose they should be leashes 24/7 then?) and that the prong collar works best for them.I am extremely disappointed that the dogs spent three weeks away to achieve what could’ve been achieved at home. Anyone can put a prong collar on a dog and cause pain to get them to behave. It’s not training. It’s fear and abuse tactics.

Sent an 18 month English Lab for training and boarding. Excellent facility for both. Trainers are superb and facility is very pristine. The staff is loving to each and every animal. We are extremely satisfied and happy to have our now well trained Lab back home. We will definitely be back.

Southern Pet Lodge truly is the best. My Munson goes for daycare as well as has been boarded while out of town. Dana the owner is very responsive while booking and very kind. The girls are amazing. I truly never worry anytime Munson is there. I know they take very good care of him and treat each pet as if its their own pet.

We decided to give SPL a try after the place we were lodging our pets at dramatically started to go down hill. The girls that work here are fantastic and love your animals. They get to run and play every 2 hours when they are boarded, which is more than all the places I checked out. The trainer also helps take care of the dogs and she is amazing as well. Everyone there is friendly, loves their job, and strives to communicate with the pet owners whenever and however they can.I can’t be more appreciative of them and what they have done for our dogs.*BOUNS!!!* I love being able to see how my puppers are doing and SNL does just that by uploading the pictures of your pets having the time of their life on their Facebook page. I enjoy seeing it when I am away!!!!

My Callie loves to stay with Dana! She is always excited to see her and I never worry about her while she's there. I think one of her favorite things to do there is playing with the other dogs. I love the pictures I get too!!

My husband and I were very pleased with our dog’s recent stay. They have a beautiful facility and babied our cane corso like one of their own! They also have a Facebook page you can view and take lots of pictures of your fur baby. Highly recommend! My parents love them, too!

I have taken my two babies to Southern Pet Lodge quite a few times now. It’s a good feeling to have a business that you can trust! I always get pictures and the pups are wore out from playtime on the farm when we pick them up! Highly recommend!

Dana is a highly motivated pet care worker—I cannot recommend her enough! I have had dog-sitters who are apathetic and who let both discipline and routine slip, but Dana is organized, dedicated, and amazing at keeping my dog in good health and good spirits.

Bella seemed to enjoy it, we didn’t know about paying extra for pictures and asked for some during the week but never received them after being told they would send us some. One unsettling thing for us is while we realize it’s a pet lodge and dog smell but the smell and amount of flies made us very uneasy about leaving Bella there.

Dana has become part of our extended family by providing excellent personal care for our golden doodle. Lilo is always ready to jump out of our car and go play whenever we pull up to the Lodge. Baer had a wonderful experience here.This pet lodge is truly a hidden gem.They were so welcoming to Baer not to mention the updates on Facebook was a added bonus. Baer loved being outside so all the outside play time Baer received was truly wonderful.Southern Pet Lodge was a 50 minute drive from our home, but well worth drive. They treat all the pet's like family here.

When I dropped my dog off for a one day visit, I was greeted nicely and felt comfortable leaving her. However, when I picked her up, it was a different story. The girl on staff was not informed I was picking my dog up at the expected time... and when I came to get her she was very unsure about my dog being present. Her words were “Who??” when I told her who I was picking up. Thankfully my dog was there, and she handed her to me without asking for my ID or any proof I was the owner of my dog. I left furious because anyone could have picked up my dog and left. I wish I would have had a better experience because Google reviews were great.

We just picked up Coco from the board and train and we and he loved it!!! It was awesome!!! It was so nice to call or text and get prompt responses on his progress and how he was doing. I felt very comfortable and knew he was in great hands. For sure recommend!!! We will for sure be back!!
