Refuses to treat a sick kitten simply because they don’t know what to do with cats. Disgusting establishment if I could give negative stars I would. If you’re refusing animals that need help you don’t need to be operating a business like this. Again absolutely disgusting and I hope this place gets investigated.

I'm disabled & can't drive to the shelter, but my experience with Buddy, one of the animal services officers, has been great. I've had a problem with people abandoning cats near my house at night for years. Many are terrified & won't let me get near them. Buddy brings out his safe cat trap so I can catch the cats & spend some time with them in the house before he picks them up. This way, I feel the cats have a better chance of being adopted, and I can also pass on anything I've learned about the cats' personalities and physical condition. I've had experience with Animal Service/Control agencies in other states, and Ware County is far superior to any of them in a number of ways. We are most fortunate!

I've Called To Several Times For Someone To Come Out To McDonald St and Martin Luther King Dr. To Pick Up Some Stray Dogs That's Has Been Roaming Around Our Neighborhood Attacking and Harming Others Animals and Some Has Even Lost Their Life Behind These (3) Dogs!!! We Could Not Get Any Help To Solve This Problem!!!

The people here are very nice and the facility is well kept and surprisingly clean to be an animal shelter. There is a wide variety of dogs and cats and they seem to be taken car of well. This shelter is very pit-bull heavy, nothing wrong with the breed but just be advised if you go looking for a black lab lol, although there was one of those when I went. The downside to the facility was how small it is.

We recently moved to this area and our German Shepard got lost. She was gone a month and one day. We were devastated and worried. She was found and brought to Ware County Animal Services. We are so very grateful that the staff at WC Animal Services were kind to her. They didn’t just hand her over but verified that were actually her family. “Thank you” just doesn’t seem like enough to express our gratitude to the staff. They not only helped take care of her but also helped ensure we don’t get separated from her again.

I am sorry to say I had to turn in two stray dogs. The staff explained that they were a no kill shelter which I required . They were understanding and compassionate. I did think the fee was slightly high to turn in the dogs. Being disabled and unable to care for them properly it was the best for them.

Asked for help on 4 feral kittens and was told, very quickly, No room. I was given the name of 2 other shelters around the state and in Florida but they can't take the kittens either. I have a feral colony I'm trying to help, paying out my pocket to get females spayed,but it's getting out of hand. I have 3 more adult females left to catch but suddenly also have total of 8 kittens. That makes almost 17 cats in the colony and I need help but can't find it anywhere. I now have an extra 5 female and 3 male kittens that I can't afford surgery on or find homes for.

I wish I could say somthing nice about this place since they help so many animals find homes and have a place to live.. but the people there are so incredibly rude every time I've dealt with them.

These people have the worst customer service. They make false statements and do not pick up there phone once you adopt a pet. I adopted a puppy last month, but will never go through this agency again.
