Clean store friendly employees. The only complaint I have about this location is the same as their Oakwood location. For some reason certain public bakeries subs are always incredibly crunchy on the outside. I end up cutting up the roof of my mouth every time I eat at the Butler crossing deli.

Super friendly staff, over the holidays they were busy but helpful and service oriented. The area will only get busier so I hope they continue to provide exceptional service. Small detail. In the past they would give out lots of samples and tasters... nothing this time around

As someone who worked here for a short amount of time, they do not pay their employees for some of their shifts. I informed multiple managers and not a single one would fix where I wasn’t paid. Don’t support Publix!!!!

We had a big lunch at our work where we grilled steaks. We were worried that 50 steaks would be hard to get in time. Hunter Hill in the meat dept., made it happen. You need anything meat related, Hunter will get it done.

The store was clean of course. I'm thankful there are stuff checkouts. The problem I had was that the grapes I bought looked good, but when I got them gone there were molded grapes down in the middle of the bunch.

We stopped in to grab some soup and had to settle on what was left as they had not refilled 2 of the 4 soups? This could have definitely been a 5 star experience had a staff member stayed on top of refilling everything.

Absolute worse at sandwich making. Stood in line for nearly 30 minutes with just a few people in front of me. People behind me were leaving the line, it was clear the employees had not been trained , this was not the first time. Get it right if you’re gonna up the prices.

This Publix is clean, safe and busy from open until close. Prices are good for savings program members, and the people are friendly, helpful and know the store layout very well. Which is great because the store looks deceptively small from the outside.This Publix also has an insanely consistent bakery, deli, produce and meat department, each run by qualified professionals from the local area. It's almost not a "big box store" vibe at all. (...except for the typical corporate stylings and the staggering abundance of similar products.)This Publix location has exceeded my expectations each week for almost 2 years since moving to Watkinsville. I appreciate the brand, the products and especially the people who keep it running so smoothly.

Publix is always extremely clean and friendly. The staff there are courteous, efficient, respectful. The pharmacy always has the medicine that I need and they are very efficient. Very helpful. Very thorough knowledgeable. Parking is safe and the prices are reasonable.

What has happened? Employee turn over? Manager was in the wine section early this morning and no he did not speak. So many Employees working. The only ones that spoke were working self check out and working the juice aisle. This is not acceptable for Publix. I will be calling the warehouse. 20 mile drive one way for this lack of customer service is ridiculous!! I may as well go to Monroe. SMH!!!

This Publix has the worst deli in the whole state. They do not care and do not meet Publix standards. 1. They run out of food all throughout the day and today there was no rotisserie chicken ready and when asked it would be 45 minute wait. 2. I was waiting in line for the hot case with one person in front of me. The lady served the person and walked away ignoring me and not even speaking to me. She went to go make subs for online orders- you would think the customer at the store would be more of a priority. 3. Every single day they aren’t supposed to close both fryers down, they are supposed to leave one working but they both are shut down you can not get anything if you come in after 7pm.4. Just two days ago I went in for chicken- they said it would be 20 minutes. So I walked around and shopped. Went back 20 minutes later and nobody ever dropped the chicken. And the employee actually even laughed about it. What a lack of management! Just unacceptable. Worst Publix in the state of Ga.

They no longer have cold cut subs on the menus. After 25 years of enjoying Publix sandwichs ,no longer. It is truly disappointing. Asked about it and only 'hot' premium subs now,tot something I enjoy.

Not a terrible experience but the store is old and likely competes with the new one built just a few miles away. Customer service is excellent as you expect from Publix, but the isles seem narrow, the lights seem dim, the store felt a little dingy and there were quite a few missing products from the shelves.

This Publix is always extremely busy and with it being a smaller store, it can be tough to navigate your way through all the customers. Fresh produce, nice meat department and UPDATE they have changed something (not sure - new employees, maybe MORE employees) they have a very happy staff! I have updated from 3 to 5 stars - store is very well stocked now

This Publix is good overall. The biggest issue is back in the seafood & fish area. It is either overstocked with Lazy individuals who don’t even help waiting customers or only one person is there alone for the entire day. The rest of the staff is very helpful and everything is usually in stock

Not one of my personal favorite shopping spots, but I make it work. There's another supermarket across the street where I go to get what I can, then go here to get the rest. If it were not for the BOGO sales, I'd skip it alltogether.

As you can tell by the picture, the deli is pretty lackluster. The man who made our sandwich did a very sloppy job. If we weren’t so hungry & in a rush, we would’ve asked for it to be remade.I recognize that it gets busy around lunch, but this was disgusting to even attempt to eat.Only giving 2 star instead of 1 because the store is well-maintained and clean. But people rely on the deli for meals. You have to do better.

Always clean, orderly, w helpful, polite staff. The only rudeness at Publix is in the parking lot from shoppers, especially folks who park in the drive thru and go inside to shop. Not sure how Publix can fix this. Best grocery store ever!!

This location is closer to my work, but typically I enjoy shopping at the Athens Eastside location at Georgetown Square. I like the layout of that store better.
