The fine people at the counter are charming and friendly. They take your order and quickly get you the Nectar of the Gods.They have your beans!!! The many roasts they produce are waiting for you in their iconic tin or trusty zippy bag. Pick up a couple.Our favorite is the Morning Ride.Easy access and plenty of free parking.Now that you’ve read this, go to Jittery Joes and get a caffeine fix. I’ve come to this location 3 times while visiting family and I have gotten the wrong order 2/3 times. (Ordered an iced chai latte and received a hot oatmilk latte?) the third time I ordered two pieces of zucchini bread and I got TWO end pieces (pic for proof). Okay, I can understand giving the end piece if it’s the end of the day and there are no other pieces, I still would have been disappointed and maybe even expected a discount- but TWO end pieces? In the middle of the day? With no warning and no discount? I’ve decided to stop coming here so that I’ll stop wasting money on things I don’t want. But I have always been a jittery joes fan. I just think this location needs help.

Great coffee. They’ve got good brew whether you order it hot, iced, or slushed. Friendly staff. Parking lot is a bit small, but there is plenty of seating inside. Clean restrooms. Come grab a cup of Jittery Joe!

Jittery Joe's won me over with their whole vibe when I was a teenager visiting Athens. I think the world would be a better place if this replaced Starbucks everywhere. Or maybe I'm still feeling the caffeine from the Crackaccino I mean, I might have imagined that name. But the first time I had one, my eyes never felt wider. They've got good coffee. I buy a can whenever I can.

The music is always way too loud there. Depending on who is working, they're blasting anything from kpop to Christian worship music. I'm not Christian, but I don't mind it if it's quiet. But if I can hear the words (of any music) over my headphones while listening to something else, it's too loud.I know coffee shop music is a thing, and I don't mind. But this is way too loud. Other people there are having to speak louder to hear over the music and it makes everything very noisy.

BARISTAS WERE REMARKABLY KIND. Wow, so sweet. Jordan especially made my day. The interior could probably use some revamping; it’s not exactly somewhere I’d love to hang, but I enjoyed the interaction & my iced matcha latté was made perfectly 🏼 Thank you, loves<3 Maybe I’ll be back someday.

I ABSOLUTELY love this place! it is the perfect environment to get all of my work done. The baristas are always kind and enjoyable to talk to.If you are looking for a good order: Medium dark roast and a Joey Special Sandwich (bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich add sausage and cream cheese) make sure to order before 11AM so you can get it. It will change your life!

Our “go-to” place for coffee and breakfast. Visit at least once a week. Drive thru is fast and courteous. Atmosphere is comfy. Coffee selections are great. Food is good with a nice variety of pastries and breakfast biscuit or croissant sandwiches. Lucky to have this place so close to us!

I’ve always enjoyed the Watkinsville Jittery Joe’s, but lately every hot specialty drink I’ve ordered is lukewarm. So, the last time I ordered a specialty drink I asked for it extra hot to offset the fact they don’t steam the milk long enough and it was STILL barely lukewarm. So I never order specialty drinks anymore. A waste of money every time. Now I just get drip coffee because at least it’s hot like it should be and it tastes great. They need to work on making their hot drinks a lot better. The employees are really nice, positive, and work efficiently.

Recently went to the Jittery Joe’s in Watkinsville and was extra impressed with their iced chai latte which was super delicious. While a lower price would have been nice I’m all about supporting a staples of the Athens/Watkinsville area so it was worth the price!

I frequent here way more than I should for coffee to-go on my way to work. Quick service, great drinks, awesome people! I think I come here more often for the people than the drinks even - Haley and Joey are fantastic though they are all great!! Check them out if you haven’t! You can even bring you pup and sit on the front porch.

Pulled in in my tractor trailer, took up the entire parking lot but they were awsome. Coffee was amazing, staff said don't worry about your truck, you'll be in and out. Sure enough I was happy and coffee was delicious, should have gotten 2.

This place is so stinking cute. The bathrooms are clean and they have sanitizer to clean the toilet before you use it. The drinks are amazing but the blueberry biscuit was the best I've ever had.

When my Moma was alive this was one of her favorite coffee shop for us to go to. It’s been hard to go back. I went back today February 27/2021. I got a turtle mocha and it’s the best one I have ever. The works inside we’re very nice as well!

Our breakfast was fantastic. We had coffee and croissants and everything was fresh and extremely delicious. I spoke to Alan (the owner) and he was very friendly and helpful. He is professional and extremely driven, I think this coffee shop is going places. Not that this is the reason to visit a coffee shop, but the girl behind the counter was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life and was also helpful. Easily the most memorable visit to a coffee shop I have ever had in my life.

Great coffee and a great atmosphere. The coffee is roasted only about 30 minutes from the location by master roster Charlie Mustard who had worked for the company, if I recall correctly, for over 30 years. You can't go wrong with a company that brews it's own roast and employs such great people. I drove 45 minutes one way just for that cup of coffee, and no, I don't work for them. I'm just a fan of great coffee.
