Frances Gibson is an absolute jewel. I had to have a dress immediately for a formal, when my other dress would not work. She was closed and opened her shop just to help me. She knew what would look great with my body type. I had a gorgeous gown that made me feel beautiful all in less than an hour. I recommend Dover Grace for all your wedding and formal needs. I cannot speak more highly of Frances and her team! I might have bought a new dress two weeks before my wedding and finding someone to do it in that time frame was far out of reach. Until I met Frances, she knew I had no other option and stepped up to the plate. She met me after work hours to help and do last minute fittings. I do not suggest anyone do what I did (for Frances’ sake), but Frances and her team are the best people to do it. I will continue to use this fabulous team and refer all of my family/friends here!!

I went to Dover Grace for bridal alterations at the recommendation of a coworker and I'm glad I did! All the staff was great and I loved working with Frances and Katherine; they always made me feel at ease. Katherine was also always helpful with a recommendation for whatever vendor I was looking for. I have a lot of illusion detail in my dress but needed a lot of support and Frances got very creative and was able to help me without compromising the design at all. The end result is perfect! I will definitely visit Dover Grace for future alterations or dress design needs!

They are prompt in their responses and work with you to fit your timeline (I had 3 months to get my dress altered).Francis is every bit of amazing! Her vision and talent are unreal. My dress was seemingly complicated to alter but she had zero fears about it. She took a beautiful, but too big for me, dress and made it fit like a dream. This is by far the best bridal boutique I have ever been to. Hands down the best alteration services on both of my gowns (that were not purchased in their store, but if I had known about this store before my purchases I would have bought here) for my sons wedding and wedding rehearsal dinner. They have the ability to make a woman feel beautiful in the dresses they have purchased and the alterations are made to accentuate your best features. I also had a last minute change on my rehearsal dinner dress and they fit me in their busy schedule. If you are looking for dresses or gowns that are different from the ordinary norm of retail stores start here!! There is a wide variety of merchandise. Alterations done in a very timely manner with great accuracy and attention to detail. They have the ability to make you feel beautiful and confident. My experience was a hands down incredible. I felt confident, beautiful, attractive and comfortable after the alterations they made. They even took the lace they cut off my dress and made two pockets squares (handkerchief) for my husband and son.Thank you

Amazing! I found my beautiful wedding gown here for an incredible price! It looked like most of their dresses were under $400, which is pretty awesome if you have any experience shopping for wedding dresses. Frances and the other sales associates were so wonderful to work with. They gave me honest feedback and were so encouraging and patient as I tried on dresses and combed the racks. If you've ever been to bridal boutiques or David's Bridal you probably have experienced sub-par customer service. Not here! Wedding dress shopping can be such an emotional thing, but the ladies at Dover Grace made the process FUN and enjoyable!Also-Frances and her team did all my alterations and the dress looks incredible. The dress I fell in love with was five sizes too big and has a lace bodice...not a super easy fix, but it fits like a glove now and looks amazing. I'm so pleased with my experience there and would absolutely recommend for brides and anyone else.

Absolutely loved my experience at Dover Grace! Had the pleasure of meeting Grace and the owner, Frances. Such an awesome store filled with love. And of course, beautiful gowns!Although I went with a wedding dress from another shop, this was by far the best bridal experience! They also have beautiful accessories. After a less than pleasant experience at another bridal shop in Atl (sentimentalist) the experience we had at Dover Grace surpassed anything we could have ever expected! I had my wedding dress altered at Dover Grace Alternative Boutique. The owner, Frances, is an amazing seamstress and an wonderful person. My wedding dress alterations were a rush order during her busy season. She could have said no, but she found a way to get it done, and the alterations were perfect. Frances and her store manager, Grace, are so kind and helpful. I rented a veil Francis designed as well. The veil is stunning, and I absolutely loved it. I strongly recommend you visit the boutique if you are looking for a dress, accessory, or alterations!

Francis is incredible! I brought her the impossible request to alter my wedding dress down five sizes (not something I recommend trying!), but she completely rebuilt my dress to fit me. She does amazing work, loves teaching you about what she's doing, and genuinely wants you to feel your most beautiful. Your alterations will be as wild and fun as she is, and besides getting a dress that fits like a glove, you'll meet a wonderful woman.

The customer service from the owner of this establishment saddens me. Around 4 years ago I signed a contract to consign my $1400 unused wedding dress at Dover Grace. They took my email and phone number and assured me I would receive an email when it was time to renew my contract. For the first couple of years I would receive an email a couple of weeks prior to my contract expiration that it was time to renew, I would pay the fee and renew. Recently I went in to pick up my dress off of consignment and was told my contract had expired in 2020 and they tried to contact me. Fortunately I save all of my emails from Dover Grace in an important file on my email every time I receive one, I have not received a phone call and/or an email as a courtesy to let me know my contract was up for renewal. I take responsibility for not calling sooner to see why I haven’t had any contact with them. However, with that being said I was bluntly told that they do not “do consignment” and are not in possession of the dress any longer. That it was my responsibility to come pick up the dress. So let me get this straight.. as a business owner she did not take it upon herself to contact her customers (especially consignees) to let them be aware of a policy change? She stated that was not her problem, that is was my fault. She unfortunately was very rude and did not take responsibility for not informing her customers of a change in the business just decided to keep their possessions without giving them the option of renewal, pick up or donation. I was then informed they do not have my dress and that is was donated even though they “contacted me” to let me know which is completely false. I truly hate this for any consignees that have signed contracts through this business. Good news, they are closing in April so fingers crossed this will not happen to anyone in the future especially anyone elderly that would not be in full understanding of the situation.

Definitely get all of your alterations done here! These ladies have the best energy and the best prices! Miss Frances is by far the sweetest woman I have ever met and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! I accidentally came in without an appointment to get my dress altered and she squeezed me in right away and had me in and out of there in 20 minutes! I told her that I wouldn’t be able to try on the dress after she had made the alterations because I would be out of town until the day of the wedding I was in. She assured me that it would be perfect and it was! Love this shop and love the staff! 12/10 experience for SURE.

Have only been here once but can definitely say that I will be coming back in the future and that anyone who needs alterations should go here!! I needed my prom dress altered and not only were they were extremely friendly and helpful; but they had my dress completed a week before I was scheduled to pick it up! They did an amazing job on the dress and I felt so reassured and comforted to leave my dress in such good hands! It was my first time getting a dress altered so I'm not sure how much alterations go for usually; but to get the length of my dress altered it was only 45$!! And for the quality of the staff and work they did on it, it's by far totally worth it!!
