The room was completely over priced, I paid almost $600 for my entire stay of 4 days .My stay included a shower with horrific water pressure I am sure the low water pressure is due to the shower head being filthy . The sliding shower door bottom is incased in extremely thick scary yellow filth ring .The outdated A/C system that screams someone painted me legionnaires diseases respiratory failure ahead is an eye sore . The couch was itchy and rough. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable . The blah colored hard scratchy motel 6 comforter covered with cotton balls on the bed of steel made me itch all night the washing powder is definitely not hypoallergenic. Overall all once I adjusted to my surroundings i had already paid so I sucked it up and got ready for my Aunts funeral .

I am a service member in the army. My family and I stayed at this Home 2 suites location in Vidalia Ga. We arrived at night to check in. Our room was very nice and clean and in tacked. We are from out of town visiting here for a family event. In the morning they had a Nice breakfast Station serving Hot food. Ms Cyndi was the attendant and I would like to High Light Her Customer Service. She was an Excellent Hostess. She was very friendly, professional and attentive. I really Love her Hospitality She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and made sure I knew where everything was. I rate this Hotel 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Stars because of her customer service. Hilton Home 2 Suites Please give Cyndi a raise or a Bonus for her Amazing Customer Service. Andrea also took care of our house keeping needs. She was very friendly and provided Great customer service with a smile. For anyone that has never visited this area of Vidalia Ga. I recommend to stay here it’s worth the money you spend and the time to book. We Enjoyed our stay 😊.Rooms: The room was spacious and accommodating.Food & drinks: The food and drink station was clean and the food was good.

We enjoyed our stay. Zach and Kim, with with guest services, were friendly, informative, and provided excellent customer service. They were also welcoming to our pup which made stay pleasant. The breakfast has a variety of choices including eggs, sandwiches, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, waffles, and all the extras make for nice start to your day. I highly recommend this Home 2 Suites location.

This hotel isn’t horrible. However, as another reviewer mentioned, Google maps shows that this hotel should be new. HOWEVER, it screams a dated/renovated hotel. I typically stay in the Holiday Inn (much nicer), but decided to try out this hotel when I realized it was in town (being a Hilton Diamond member for the multiple years.).The hotel itself is in disarray and appears much older than many 20-30 year old hotels. Scale buildup in rooms, broken tile work and baseboards, scrapes/paint issues/etc…while they can only control so much, it has obviously not been cared for. Also, the staff is friendly, but this is the first time I’ve ever had a hotel up-charge me rooms without offering to let me cancel a reservation first. (I booked one room, which when arrived smelled absolutely awful of cigarette smoke. I moved to another room type because there were no others available. While I don’t necessarily mind paying more, it was not my fault the room was not fit to be rented out.) Ultimately, the staff is good overall, rooms were clean mostly (just lots of damage throughout), breakfast was poor compared to most Hiltons, and beds seem extremely worn already. I gave 3 stars on the friendliness of staff and clean rooms overall. But I would highly recommend booking the Holiday Inn Express in town over the Home2 Suites for the price and condition unless you need a full kitchen. (Which pains me to say that, as I typically book exclusively Hilton when able.)

One of the best Home2Suites experience at this location.Location is close to main road with dining options including walmart and lowers within walking distance. The area felt safe enough for me to for a walk at night.Hotel is newer and very tastefully decorated and VERY clean. The staff is very friendly and so was the ladies at the breakfast bar.Rooms are decent size with clean and comfy bedding, bathroom was clean and good size.I can’t think of a single reason not to give this one a five star!

Its been a while since I've stayed at a Home2 Suites and it was better then I remembered. We stayed on a week day night and while there were other guests it was definitely not busy.Staff was friendly and greated us every time we came and went. Lobby area was clean and the breakfast was ok but standard.Rooms were nice and clean. Plenty of storage and set up focused for longer stays. There was minor mold in the bathroom and what looked like some surface rust on the microwave, but otherwise was clean and fresh.

I hope this review makes it before the Onion Festival I feel I have to alert travels. I have nothing but GOOD THINGS to say about this hotel. I'm not crazy picky about the room. I expect a clean bed, bathroom and kitchen. This i got, was there dirt in the halls sure people come in and out all day are they supposed to vacuum every hour. Let me tell you the best thing about this hotel. We were in town because of the unexpected death of my oldest sister. We were across the street at another hotel that I had stayed at before but, After being with family for a couple of hours we came back to the other hotel and discovered bedbugs we were transferred to another room again bedbugs. We checked out at midnight and went to Home2Suites. We were upfront and told them why. We know what can happen and we were extremely careful, (we certainly didn't want to bring them home) we told them we would only bring in the bare minimum and what was not near the beds. We even had to go and buy extra clothes because we didn't want to take any chances. We requested to check the room first and were accommodated (bug free) Totaled enjoyed our stay. Home2suites is a good hotel and the rooms are very nice. Staff members were excellent.

Came to town for the weekend to attend a wedding. Room was ready on time, digital key option was fantastic and the room itself provided plenty of room. The separate sitting area was nice to just sit down without having to sit on the bed. Also enjoyed the other amenities in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Oh it's also right off the main street so access to restaurants and places to shop were only 2-3 minutes away.

The facility is nice; however the cleanliness of the rooms is sub par. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last year and the room was not clean upon arrival. The floors in the bathroom and kitchen area did not appear to be mopped. On my last stay, I asked the front desk for mop so I could clean the floor properly. Also, on my last stay, the room smelled musty and there was a huge stain down the wall that appeared to be water damage. The management team was very apologetic and offered extra HHonors points, which are appreciated. I fear that the cleanliness is suffering from post COVID cleaning protocols since they no longer do daily cleaning of the rooms. It is such a shame, because the facility is newer and has nice amenities for the price.Nearby activities: The Red Stag Bar and Grill is right across the street providing excellent night specials. Taco Tuesday is the best.

This was a wonderful surprise in my road trip. The room was super clean and comfortable. The gym was wonderful and the salted swimming pool made a big difference for me. If you happen to be around and in need of a place to relax for a night, this is the best

The staff weren't very friendly. It room was great and clean. Elevators were a different story. They made strange noises and eventually got stuck with someone inside for 12 hours. Fire department told them to shut them down and service them with an inspector. We left an hour later. Not shut down. So we (4 rooms of us) all took the stairs. The breakfast was ok at best. Again, the staff acted like they didn't care.

Stayed for two days for the Onion festival. The property is brand new however already not maintained. The common areas are not cleaned, vacuumed, dirty floors. The room was terrible. The counter surfaces were filthy and still had crumbs on some of them. The windows and mirrors were also filthy... fingerprints and smudges all over. I had to ask the front desk for window cleaner and paper towels to clean myself. There were still crumbs on the floor as well as finger/toenail clippings. I actually found a $20 dollar bill on the floor next to the bed. Bet the maid wished they had done a better job. There were also So Many other small problems with the cleanliness of my room that I can't go into here. Also the front door was not properly installed so I had to actually use my shoulder to get it to latch! Still have a bruise and sore shoulder. To close I have to say that this is a Red Roof Inn property posing as a Hilton. The worst management I have seen in any Hilton property that I have encountered. The room was actually cleaner when I left than when I arrived!Someone from Hilton needs to check it out.Just my opinion.

Two of us shared a room for 2 nights. We worked in the room for one day. The bed was hard and the pillows tiny, so, sleep was not the best. The bathroom was lacking one of the basics, Kleenex. We had to ask the front desk for a box. Breakfast was less than to be desired and one of the worst for a Hilton chain hotel. The hot eggs all had peppers in them and there were only two different styles. No plain eggs except for cold hardboiled. They basically want you to eat in your room. The pool area was off limits...bummer. You could have fooled me that this place was relatively new. Next time we come down for business we will stay elsewhere.

I was questioning if we should stay here or not based on the reviews. We found the hotel to be clean and our room was clean as well. The only issue we had was the shampoo and body wash dispensers were both empty. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

I travel to Vidalia often for work and typically stay at the Americinn across the street and have always found it to be great. However, on a recent trip, I decided to try Home2 since it is new. As others have noted, the hotel is poorly maintained. It’s hard to believe it’s so new that it doesn’t even show up on Google Maps satellite view. The hall carpet has a lot of stains, there was quite a bit of dust accumulation in my room, the microwave was dirty/greasy, and the door to my room rubbed on the floor such that it would not open all the way. Additionally, the hallways are very lumpy, which can cause you to trip if you’re not careful. It’s odd - have never seen anything like that before. On the positive side, the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. I also found the room to be spacious with a nice layout, the bed was comfortable, fridge was spacious, and the A/C worked great.

I don't like to give bad reviews and especially to hotels that are being refurbished. In this case, my issues would not be corrected by the refurbishment. I have several issues.1. Our room was 62 degrees when we got there. I tried to adjust the thermostat but nothing worked. Then I tried to call the desk to ask for instructions. There wasn't any sort of directory on the phone so I dialed 0. I let it ring for over 10 rings and it was never answered. I finally got it turned off.2. WIFI used to be a luxury but it has become a requirement. I could never get the WIFI to work.3. The light in the bathroom comes on automatically when you go in there. When I go to the bathroom at night, I don't want to become fully awakened. That light disturbed my wife who is sensitive to light and also made it harder than necessary to get back to sleep.

Pros: Great place to stay for a family. Very clean. Staff was courteous. Near a Walmart if you need something last minute. Value for Price. Pack and Plays are offered for little ones. Gym has up to date equipment.Cons: Free breakfast ends when they run out of food. I came down at 9:15 am to 2 omelets and 1 biscuit left.Housekeeping doesn’t come every day.

10/10 recommend if you're staying in Vidalia. We were there for a wedding and we loved our stay, the room was clean and spacious. We brought our puppy and she was welcome and really enjoyed her stay as well. We felt safe to leave her in her kennel in the room when we weren't there, the fridge in the room was a great addition to have to keep our dog's food in and snacks for ourselves as well. The environment was relaxing and the staff was very attentive and kind.

This is a great, relatively new location (which was very much needed in Vidalia) and the staff is very friendly. The only constructive criticism I have is regarding housekeeping. My room was not well cleaned at all this past week. One of the previous occupants had splattered a substance on various surfaces around the kitchenette, and housekeeping smeared it further. It was on the 'clean' dishes, cabinet door handles, and faucet. I wish they would also provide a new sponge for cleaning dishes so I don't have to use a paper towel to clean out my Yeti. The bathroom could have also been better. There were lime scale marks in the toilet (which only occurs when it's not been thoroughly cleaned in some time), a sticky substance on the bathroom floor, half cleaned swirl marks on the faucet, and some mildew forming in some areas of the shower pan (another sign that something hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time - by the way a scoop of oxy clean will get those stains out in no time).I noticed one bug the next morning and promptly annihilated him. I've never seen a bug there before. So I'm sure it probably hitched a ride in on something a guest or worker brought in.

I recently stayed here when in town on business. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.Pros:-The room size and layout was very nice. Plenty of room to move around.-Convenient location-Fairly quietCons:-No conditioner in the shower. They only provide shampoo and body wash. This may be okay for male travelers but for us females we miss the conditioner!-Sheets felt like they had been washed beyond their life expectancy. They were pilling and it was a very uncomfortable "bumpy/scratchy" feeling all night.-The room WAS NOT clean. There were crumbs from the previous guest/guests on the sofa, carpet, nightstands, etc.-Hair all over the bathroom (i don't get offended by a stray hair or two because I know if can happen, however there were accumulations of hair in several areas of the bathroom floor and shower)-The water temperature of the shower would not stay as it was set. It went from scalding hot to ice cold without being adjusted. That made for a miserable shower experience.Overall, most of these things can be addressed and hopefully corrected. However, I encountered too many things during this visit to risk staying here again and having the same experience.

Room was filthy! Carpet was not vacuumed, microwave had gross hand markings all over the front door, utensils appeared as if they were used and thrown into the drawer without washing. Breakfast was a joke. You can get the same breakfast offerings at the lower price Hampton Inn properties. They intentionally kept the jar holding the nut mixture at an extreme low level so that one couldn't take the amount they desired. I stayed at a Home 2 Suites property 3 years ago and they had an attractive breakfast spread. I decided to stay at Home 2 Suites as a result. I paid ~$20/more per night to enjoy a nicer breakfast and was surprised to see the same poor offerings that they supply at Hampton Inn. Hotel management didn't control the rowdy and loud guests who were partying at the pool until well after midnight on Thursday evening.

New facility. Very clean . The suite with the adjacent bedroom was awesome! Huge! Pet friendly! A nice TV in the living room and bedroom. Only downside was the shower water pressure. As in most motels, the pressure was weak, but plenty of hot water. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was just ok for me. Needed a lot more variety. Mattress was ok, nothing special. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great. All in all, we were very pleased and will definitely go back. We liked having elevators in the building as opposed to just driving up to your room and taking stairs. Felt very safe. It had the feeling of a small apartment complex instead of a typical motel. Plenty of lighting at night. Our safety was never a factor. Highly recommend.

Pool is always out of order. Manager Tanya is disrespectful and condescending to seniors. Home2 brand only gives half as many Hilton points as other hotels. Bed sheets are weird and it's a bottom sheet with no top sheet but the comforter is supposed to have a cover which falls off immediately and you know they didn't change it since the last people slept on it. Rooms are dark.

If a clean hotel room is important to you, stay elsewhere. Traveled for business and stayed here on two separate occasions recently. Both times my room wasn’t clean and the AC did not work, had to change rooms. After traveling and working a long day, the last thing you want to deal with is issues with your hotel room. Property is fairly new, but is already looking rundown and poorly maintained. This one is a miss for me.
