I normally love shopping at food Lion but when I went last night 01/25/24, I was disgusted at what I seen in the produce, completely black with mold all over them, they also were slimy and smashed you could tell their molded.

We just moved to Vidalia and was sad about not being close to a Target. Although it’s no Target, this Food Lion has met our grocery and toiletries needs with so many perks and benefits! The employees give exceptional service and a young man (cashier) by the name of LeShawn, has gone above and beyond in stand out customer service! Huge Kudos to him for being personable and working efficiently! So happy to discover this store location that prides themselves with well-stocked products, organization, and CLEANLINESS! Thank you!

I ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter on Friday to be picked up on Monday.When I got there it wasn't ready but when she finally finished with the cake it was terrible.I could have done a better job.Not sure what has happened with foodlion but don't order a cake from them.

Decent choice in produce and a great international selection. The produce seems to stay fresh for a short time (2-4 days max). They never have any meat in stock that’s on sale so if you are a bargain hunter this is absolutely not the place to go. We have trouble finding house brand soda here, they run out within a day after shipments so we often leave with missing items from our list because they ran out.People working there are friendly and helpful and the store is reasonably clean.

Another local retailer cancelled my birthday cake order with less than 24 hours notice. Thankfully, Food Lion saved the day. And to top it off, the young lady who processed my order actually asked me before placing a chemical item(body wash) in the bag with some food items. I was shocked they even still train cashiers on handling and packing of chemical items. I am impressed!!!!

Remodeling. Moving the service area. Looks like it may be a raised, box-like section, so they can overlook the area. Maybe they will offer better/friendlier service if someone stays there.

Every time I go into this store the employees greet me with a hello or good evening.This time I went in looking for my favorite bread but there was none on the shelf. There was some being delivered at the same time I was looking for mine. I asked the manager may I retrieve my bread from the delivery guy and of course like they always do they told me yes. I manager just told me to pick the ones that I want. I got my three loaves and I was so glad I didn't have to make another trip. The personnel are always doing small things like that for their customers. That's why I will always shop here.
