My experience here was below average. The room was nothing special, but the walls don’t keep out sound well. For hours, I was hearing banging and other noises right outside. It didn’t feel very safe. The shower temperature fluctuated from lukewarm to scorching hot multiple times. The bedspread is just one single, fairly thin blanket, so you better turn up the heat. Speaking of, the AC took several attempts to turn on.My Choice Hotels membership never received its reward points, and when I asked a staff member (on the third attempt to get them to answer the phone) to apply the points to my account, they said “we don’t handle the points. That’s someone else.” Umm, okay? So yeah. Won’t be staying here again.

Improvement needed. The Good: The hotel building appears to be relatively new and in good condition. The cleaning crew appear to do their job. The Bad: Suspected dishonesty about room availability from the front desk, some light fixtures in my room did not work, Problems with WIFi not connecting at times, and being slow at others, AC did not work as expected, water for taking baths, showers, and brushing teeth appeared to be a dirty brown.

I love this beautifully, affordable hotel! The staff( front desk,guest services) are all wonderful! Very accommodating and knowledgeable! Continental Breakfast definitely hits the spot as well! Our room looked and smelled"Clean"! A very pleasant scent(devoid of nasty,stinky cigarette odors which are usually present in cheap,hole in the wall-dives,lol but this establishment is no cheap dive! It's in fact as I stated earlier; this is an inexpensive-affordable lodging experience!) Kudos to everyone here! We'll definitely be returning!!Thank you all so much for your genuine and sincere hospitality, that really means a lot to us. Great job!!!

It was OK, nothing to brag about. Was looking for a place to stay during the hurricane that would accept pets. The room was big 2 beds, ac not great it kept blowing under the curtain over the window so the room didn't get very cool. It has microwave, small fridge. They do not have cable, they have Roku tv. If you know how to operate Roku it might have been ok but for someone in their late sixties that has never seen or use it before it wasn't to good.There is a Mecican food restaurant next foor, BBQ food place across the street and within a block from convenience store and 2 blocks from grocery store.

The hotel really could be great I think we just got a bad room. The first one had no ac and the second the drainage backed up extensively. We could really shower and use the facilities. However the employees were great and went above and beyond to apologize and correct. It's the owners put some love here this would be a perfect place and the best price. The employees I'm sure are the only reason it's still afloat and my hats off to them!!

I didn't stay here, my mom and kids did when she came to visit us. The rooms are very nicely updated. I can't say how comfy the beds are bc I was only there for maybe 20 min but I have yet to see another Econo Lodge this nice. Vidalia is a very nice area and this hotel has kept up with the rest of the small city/town. The price is great for the quality. Usually you expect this hotel chain to be run down and basically dirty... Not this one! If I didn't live 5 min away and was visiting the area, I'd definitely stay at this hotel.

This was the most HORRIBLE experience I've had with this place- the room WREAKED of smoke the air from the AC STENCHED of mildew, the carpet was overly STAINED and very uncomfortable to walk on, the LINEN didn't smell Fresh, the Shower Water was YELLOW in color, and the worst of all- ROACHES was not only on the walls over the sink area and in the tub- I was awakened by ROACHES CRAWLING ON MY FACE AND HEAD, i slept in my van, I did report it to the front desk, but NO refund was given... TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED AND DON'T REFER THIS FOR ANYONE TO RENT!!! Still Wanting and Looking for a REFUND!!!!

Booked at this hotel last weekend. Half of the motel is under construction and fenced off. The pool hadn't been opened yet for the year and likely still isn't. The complimentary breakfast is a grab and go type thing with a couple different individually wrapped Danishs' and fruit. Checkout was at 11am. At 10am the housekeeping was beating on every door to see if you had left yet so they could get their job done earlier. One night cost me $170.

Terrible choice and will not be booking again with them.I tried to accommodate my partner who was traveling for business, and I booked a room for the same day through Expedia. One hour later, due to the upcoming storm, we had an emergency, and needed to cancel. I called Expedia to cancel it, and they told me that the owner, Kenny, is the one who takes care of refunds, but he was not answering his phone. I called the property three times, the owner once, and I also texted him, but he was not responding or let his staff know what to tell us (yes or no on the refund). After a couple hours, we were finally told there would be no refund.My partner ended up stopping by in the middle of the storm. The non-smoking room smelled like someone had recently smoked weed in it. The water was brown coming out of the tub. He left an hour later. We will not be supporting this business again.

I am from the city. I found this on Priceline and it was a steal. I arrived to a friendly gentleman at front desk with a big smile, Josh. Lobby was clean. I loved the rustic look. The room was clean, no noise throughout the night, my car did fine out in parking lot. No trash/ glass in parking lot. Washed clothes for $2.50!! The AC gets Alaska Cold (: The pool is clean and it was cool temperature even in 95°F weather. The gas station is right on corner if you need anything. The breakfast offered was alright- just snacks to run out door. Yogurts, cereal, granola bars, muffins.

Room had a smell when we walked in. The carpet had stains. Housekeeping came in took our dirty towels without replacing them. We didn't realize it until after I was in the shower. We called the desk and was told we could come get towels. Not convenient. The rooms not worth the money. Also a family member stayed in a differnt room. The mini fridge had a dead roach in it and was not working. They did change her room.

My husband and I stayed here it was a spur of the moment trip. The room was clean bathroom clean did not smell at all. We was very pleased with the service and it's next to a KFC and Shoney's. Across the street is the Hospital and there is other restaurants around also shopping centers. This is the place we will be staying when ever I go to visit my family there. 😍😍😍😍
