I love the flavor of the coffee so much! I hardly ever come though because every time I do I get coffee all over myself. Whoever makes the drinks in the morning needs more training on how to effectively pour coffee in a cup. I am not sure how but it always ends up dripping off the edges of the lid and on to me clothes…every..single…time! It’s like you need to bring a change of clothes just do enjoy your coffee in the morning. Please work on this hug in a mug! It’s ridiculous!!!!

First time trying Hug A Mug this morning. I ordered an everything bagel and a iced white chocolate mocha. The bagel was great but the iced white chocolate mocha was not. It taste like chocolate milk and has no coffee taste. It is the color of chocolate milk so clearly not white chocolate. I will going somewhere else for my morning caffeine need.

Had the grilled cheese and the tropical mocha (I think it was called something like that) hot. Both were pretty fabulous.I do not understand why the coffee shops in this area all have the most uncomfortable seating though! I just want to hang out with friends and chat, but the hard, metal, narrow chairs are the worst and you sink so far into the cushioned chairs, it’s a challenge to get out of them; that’s the reason for the “Atmosphere” rating.Dietary restrictions: Probably not very dietary restriction friendly. I don’t eat pork and they appear to serve a lot of items with sausage. I am also trying to reduce my carb intake and up my protein but that’s difficult to work in with their menu without making significant modifications to menu items. But it’s a coffee shop first so, what do you expect?Wheelchair accessibility: I use a cane, but the space looks friendly for wheelchairs, although the hallway to the restroom looks like it could be tight and the counter where you order is tallish.

I really like Hug in a Mug. The employees are friendly. The pastries and food are delicious. I love the brownies and the chocolate chip cookies. The ice cream is soooo good! It's very decadent. My husband and I love getting the pints of the different flavors. We like their coffee too. I love when they have the special offers like $2 Tuesdays they had a while ago and recently $1 iced and hot coffees. They also have a reward point system which is nice. I definetly recommend going here!

Got their small "koala" hug in a mug breakfast cup that was delicious (sausage, eggs, & grits w/butter to add) & an iced floral latte. I enjoyed both, the floral latte was phenomenal.The atmosphere & aesthetic is pleasing & comfortable, gives you a warm & inviting feel.The staff were professional & kind.You can order online; they have dine-in, takeout, & even a drive thru.I highly recommend & look forward to trying more or they menu in the future.

Today I decided to suprise my gbabies with shakes after school. We patiently waited in drive thru 30+ minutes. Only to get home to discover the suprise was on me😳. I didn't have shakes, I think they forgot to add the ice cream to thicken the shakes. Instead I had cups with milk & ice chips. Oh! I forgot & whip on top even though I specifically said no whip. I didn't want to make a fuss about it. Unfortunately this was such a waste. My gbabies settled for a popsicle instead. Please train your staff properly, it's a reflection on YOUR business.

I’ve been a customer for months now & they have been awesome but this last time was so unpleasaThey forgot the sausage to the pretzel & I went up there and ask them and they said it was weird because they pre made them ! That’s weird because the bread would be super soggy . After that I said I have proof of it , like I was lying about this . & the lady said all I can do is give you 10% . She was so rude and had an attitude . I will not be coming back.

Updated*******I went to Hug In A Mug on Bemiss today. Wow! I truly missed it because I was out of town for over five months. It felt so good to visit my favorite coffee shop in Valdosta. I got the signature Hug In A Mug drink (hot). It was so delicious. The service was also great. Once again I can say I love the fact that they can make just about any of their drinks sugar free taste great! There are two other great perks about Hug In A Mug. They have an excellent rewards program and they have gift cards. I love to receive my $5 off for reaching my rewards (HUGS) goal. Also, I love to give the gift cards as gifts and I definitely love to receive them. It's nice to be back home and it is especially delightful to visit Hug In A Mug. I actually sent two new customers on the same day.Old post*******Love the food and the iced coffee. I love that there are so many sugar free syrups for my drinks. The prices are good and the staff is friendly. My entire family loves Hug In A Mug. It's nice to go to a coffee shop that is warm and friendly. I love that the baristas assist me with flavorful and healthier options. I think what I love the most about Hug In A Mug is that it's personable. It's not commercialized. I don't feel rushed.Vegetarian options: Hug In A Mug has something for everyone. They offer great breakfast options such as grits, eggs, and cheese. They have fabulous pastries and the best coffee around. Hug In A Mug also offers soft serve ice cream and Italian ice.Dietary restrictions: In my opinion Hug In A Mug has better sugar free flavor options than some of the big commercial coffee companies in the area. They offer tons of sugar free syrups for the drinks and coffees. I love the fact that the baristas are so helpful in assisting me with my dietary needs. They give me great suggestions on how to make my coffee experience enjoyable without sacrificing flavor. Also there are keto friendly options as well. Hug In A Mug baristas are tangible. I don't feel rushed or like another number.Parking: Nice parking area at the Bemiss location.Kid-friendliness: Options available for kids. Breakfast, ice cream, hot chocolate and more. They even offers kid-friendly lunch options.Wheelchair accessibility: The cafe has an open floor plan. There is a seating area away from the counter that is spacious.

The coffee was good but I couldn’t tell you how long I waited. There was only 1 car in front of me and they ordered food. When I got up to the window, the lady apologized because they have been backed up, apparently since before the car in front of me. The area I was disappointed in was, the fact that I wasn’t offered a discount. I’ve worked at a couple drive thru windows and customer service is top priority, people will forgive provided a mere 10% discount. It was a ridiculously long wait for my coffee.

I love Hug in a Mug! Their coffees are always amazing and I love that it’s close to where we live so no driving through a lot of crazy traffic just to get treats. Their Italian ice and ice cream are awesome as well. I love getting treats for the kids. They have 9 flavors of ice cream and Italian ice it’s just the perfect place! PS the staff are always so friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk to.

I travel to Georgia to see my daughter and her family, and she always takes me here, as a treat! The foods are delicious and large portioned. I have yet to find a coffee or other drink that disappointed. The staff are very friendly. I wish I could pack the place in my suitcase and bring it home with me!Kid-friendliness: Children are indeed welcome. There are always moms with kids, and a special room I belive you can reserve for special events, like baby showers.
