When you first walk up to the front door you will find yourself ask the question of, is this the right door or place to go in. Yes, it is. The pull outward type door has dark tint on it.We enjoyed looking at all the varieties of fish offered and my son enjoyed the different colored underwater veg and stuff.The only dislike I have about the store is that it isn't clean. The amount of unused tanks that were filthy was crazy. The store could use a deep cleaning.

Mr Jim, the owner is very intelligent, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He always takes time to answer any question you may have about fish and other little freshwater and saltwater critters. :)Highlight of my week is going by to see what new fish he has. Highly recommend Exotic Fish!

Best local fish store, in my opinion. The owner and his son are always polite when I stop by, and James went out of his way to try and help me save dying fish I bought from another store despite having no responsibility to. They are knowledgeable in their craft and are honest about recommendations, although I suspect not everyone adheres to the advice.I personally love their betta and shrimp, and as long as you pay attention, I don't think you'll have an issue. If I were to complain or critique anything, it'd be that one of their tanks tends to have ick often -- however, they will warn you away from any they might have issue with. Overall I've had a good experience with them and believe they're fairly priced.(Pictures are fish I purchased from here.)

We are thinking of starting up a tank. I've done plenty of freshwater but, I have never done a salt water tank. The owner was kind and talked to us about the fish and their needs.

Great fish store! Had lots of great fish in stock that looked healthy along with coral plants, along with that they have rocks, fish care, and maintenance, and more. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable

This shop is awesome. Their prices are fantastic, and their selection is great. They take the time to explain things, to you instead of just trying to make the sale. I absolutely love their fish. I even expressed about looking for a new vacuum, which they had. When I explained that I didn't know how to use it oh, he gave me a Hands-On demonstration, on how to properly use it without harming my fish. That's the kind of customer service I like and expect. Exotic fish, is definitely my first choice now, for all of my fish needs!

Exotic Fish is a family owned/run fish store that is excellent at customer service, extremely knowledgeable, and great at getting you exactly what you want or need. Take time to learn and enjoy this hobby and it can be very rewarding. Jim and his son James are very kind and helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Mr. Jim is the owner / operator of this store and it is his knowledge, friendliness, courtesy, and helpfulness that keeps us coming back. My family has been patronizing this store since before I was born. We use him for all of our aquarium needs. He has no problem tracking down and ordering specialty items. We have had many oddball requests, and he has fulfilled them all. His prices are fantastic, and his knowledge is vast. If you have a question, stop by and talk to him. Guaranteed he will find a way to help you, and you will probably end up with a new friend also.

Hands down my favorite shop in town, clean tanks, healthy fish and invertebrates, good plants and stone, great selection of foods and treatments, fair prices and anytime ive mentioned something im looking for they have offered to order it for me or if they aren't sure they will inquire about finding it, very knowledgeable. Most shops will only run sponge filters but not this place some of thier tanks even feature under gravel filters which shows they have openly invested in the expensive small things that improves the over-all quality of thier fish stock. If you can't tell by my review as an experienced person in the hobby I'd stand behind thier shop if your looking for quality this is the place to go don't be fooled by the big boxed stores in town can't go wrong with (exotic fish) !

Love this place. Beautiful fish, great prices, and very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Superb customer service. They aren't trying to just sell you any and everything just to make a profit. If what you're looking for doesn't go with your tank setup i.e. that silly looking goldfish you find extremely adorable isn't going to survive in your tropical heated tank! I very much appreciate and recommend Exotic Fish to anyone looking to keep aquariums. 10/10 A+++++++++++++++++

Very knowledgeable staff! They helped us set up our tank, gave a ton of tips and pointers and suggested a good variety of fish! Even said that once we've had the starter fish in for about a month we can bring them back and get store credit for them towards our next fish! Thank you for all your help!!!

Love this place. They have a good knowledge of fresh and saltwater fish. They can help you find exactly what you are looking for. They can help you test your water and if you need RO/DI water they sell it as well. Their selection of fish, corals, and rocks are always of great quality and they make sure that you know how to care for your fish before you leave. They also have a good selection of tanks and accessories.
