I drop off my standard doodle 9:30am this morning. He was done at 11ish. Pretty fast right 😀. Upon drop off it’s pretty standard for the staff to check the hair if it’s matted or not . Which we discussed it needed to be brush on his left side. I requested my dog for a mini groom. Which is private areas shaved , ears clean and pluck , nails clip if needed, a clean up around the face and eyes.Upon pick up , I advise my sister will pick him up because I be working my lunch is at 3pm seems you guys will be closed at 3pm on Fridays . I Received my dog was shaved I told he was matted the groomer tried to brush him. Also said he didn’t want to get brush (which is a lied , dog been groomed for years since a puppy but ok) I check his ears, dirty , haven’t been plucked .( 2nd time )I was told I can come back TUESDAY because the groomer left for today. To get his ears pluck and clean . Or I can come back today and I QUOTE “MAYBE SHE BE ABLE TO PLUCK OR CLEAN THEM” what do you mean maybe??? so you want me to leave my job for a maybe able to pluck and clean my dog ears. You half did the service I paid for. Nothing was communicated on why dog was shaved upon pick up until I called. I was advised the Groomer left for the day. yes it’s easier to cut my dog then actually groom them reason why they grooming sessions are much more expensive than others. But such a inconvenience for me to come back to get my dog ears clean and plucked , and I couldn't because it doesn’t not work with my work scheduled nor the facility’s. So my dog is left with dirty and un-plucked ears.But when she mention the groomer was Gone for the day at 12pm. Showed me that my dog was not properly groomed. Groomer was ready to go, cut my dog hair & wash & dried and dip. No Bandana like usually do . They rush my dog. They could’ve just not accepted my appt.So yes I have a shaved Doodle for the winter, he cold and shaking, something I was not expecting, I will have to get him a sweater and booties. doodles are prone to ear infections reason why ear plucking is such a serious thing !I will never go back here. I will not recommend this location at ALL. Lack of communication, lack of work ethic. It’s your job as groomer to make sure each animal is getting properly groom though some don’t like it, my Dog was not groom properly .My Dog before and after ! Also a picture of his ears not cleaned or pluck

This is a before picture of my dog. English groomer did an amazing job as always. I haven’t found anyone who has come close to their professional standards, and work experience with animals as of yet! My dog smelled so good after her getting a few inches cut off for the winter. Highly recommend, great service and reasonable price. The communication and sympathy is the most important aspect that make the decision for me every time.

My dog is tiny and full of anxiety, had to get her a pill from the vet to calm her down, they were gracious and understanding to her. I'm glad they groomed her they did a great job when it was done. Price is fair too, defiantly will return!!

The First Service was Great, No complaints! But the second visit I don't think my Dog would ever go there again! I asked for a trim, my dog hair was a Little knotted on the left side but I wasn't expecting to come pick him up looking like a sick dog with ALL his hair cut off except on the top of his head! My Dog wasn't happy!!

I've used this grooming service for 10 years. Cathy and all the other girls always always do a good job. My dogs love to go there for their baths and nail trims. They boarded my babies several times also.

I brought my 14 ye old miniature poodle who was all matted and lots of hair. When I picked Ciara up she was so beautiful. I took her to PetSmart and they told me that I couldn't bring her back. The staff at English Grooming was super and very gentle with Ciara. The price was so reasonable and I will be bringing her back all the time.Thank you for taking such good care of my fur any.

We love the fact that we can always get our two fur babies in to see them. Always very loving to my babies and they look fantastic!!!! I can’t say enough good things about this groomer, will always take my pets here. I give them an A+++.

Took my dog there and when I dropped him off I should have know looking in the place it was dirty and very congested when I came back to get him he looked like he was just beat walked out with his head hung low would not look up or anything then they decide to tell me that he was not crate trained and asked me if he has ever been to a grooming place and did not trim his nails because he was to wild (maybe you should not be rough with dogs) and then chewed is collar "how does he chew his collar??" ....... I take him to a grooming place every month and he does great they love him there we were out of town and it was his time of the month to go. He is crate trained, sense a puppy so therefore I recommend some place else if you want to get your child pampered very very unhappy parent..........

I took my little yorkie to be groomed on Friday February 21, 2020 this was not her first time and they did not clip the nails and my dog is so scared when you walk by her or even raise your hand, she is terrified. she is walking with her tail between her legs. I have never seen my dog walk like that. When I picked her up you can see where she has been crying very bad this is something else, I have never saw my dog do, her left eye looks bad had to get eye drops from vet. Not sure what they are doing to the animals that go there I know I will never take her back to that place again. It is now Monday and my dog is still scared. If the people working at the salon are not animal lovers, they are in the wrong business. I have never put a hand on my baby and she has never saw anything but love her whole life, and it breaks my heart to know someone else did

Had tried another groomer in Valdosta and Ms Manos groomed my old dog and cut the mouth with clippers terribly with no apology, even though he was bleeding. Will NOT be back there and just excited to find English Grooming and know he is treated with care here. You won’t be disappointed with English Grooming Salon!!

Words cannot express how wonderful the ladies at English Grooming are. They truly love and are about animals. I will be an English Grooming customer for life.An example of how English Grooming goes above and beyond: I found an abused and malnourished dog this week, as hurricane Michael approaches. I couldn’t give her to animal control because they would kill her. I searched and searched for a dog house or other shelter I could use to protect this dog during the storm, as I can’t bring her into my own house due to my dog and cat. I called English Grooming, and they so very kindly lent me a large kennel and gave me wonderful advice to help me keep this sweet dog safe through the storms. I am just blown away by their loving kindness toward me and toward all animals. Thank you so much, English Grooming.

I have taken several dogs to this shop and have been very satisfied with every visit. The groomers know about the animals they work with and are willing to give advise and recommend treatment when there is a problem. Thank you so much for being caring groomers. And the price was the lowest I found in town.

Never bring your pets here. My dog was terrified and quivering when i picked her up. She’s fantastic with groomers but this place had her running behind me for protection. I don’t know what happened here but i suspect abuse. I’m never returning.

Took my dog in to get a bath and her nails trimmed took 4 1/2 hours and when I got my dog back she had a puncture wound on her neck and scratches she acted scared and when I asked them about it they said nothing happened
