This has to be the hardest pharmacy to speak withI have been on hold for over 30 minutes. Used CVS when we lived in Douglas and you could not ASK FOR ANY BETTER SERVICE.Moved to Valdosta , transferred to local CVS and now looking for a decent pharmacy. I’m tired of the lack of communication, half the time the drive through is closed, and all they want is for you to USE THE APP… download the app… it’s all because they don’t want to serve the customer.. GET real CVS,,, take PRIDE in you service, your customers are how you get a paycheck.Hire someone to clean your parking lot. The place is filthy. DO BETTER.. moving my prescriptions!!!!

Positives. Prescriptions were ready reasonably quickly after the doctor sent them in. They send text message updates on your prescriptions. They are open 24 hours.Negatives. Not all my prescriptions were ready at the same time and at the pickup window (inside) the technician (who has called up my account on the computer) didn’t even know if I had more prescriptions. I had to stand in a second line and wait for someone else to look at my account on a computer to tell me they weren’t ready. The biggest knock on CVS, when I told my doctor that I had to use CVS the doctor apologized to me. I think that kind of says it all.

Hate to give bad reviews but the stuff I am going to say is completely preventable.I can never get someone on the phone at the pharmacyThey’ll “order” my prescription and it’ll be a week and half before it comes in.The parking lot has so much trash in it and I just happened to park right on top of an open plan b box and the pill film was on the ground as well. Someone apparently couldn’t wait long enough to get to a trash can to take it.Wasps flying around the entrance when I went in day before yesterday.I will say the front desk staff is nice and pharmacy staff is okay, but she really couldn’t be bothered by giving me more details. I felt a little rushed out the door by pharmacy tech.Shelves are stocked nicely and neat but shelves are a little bare.Added on 9/2 - went to pick up my prescription which I am STUCK going here for this month until I switch it and at 4:06pm they turned me away and said they are closing for 30 minutes. It’s a 20 minute drive from my house. I can’t even believe this place or how they stay in business the way it’s run. Pic of the lady turning everyone away now saying they’ll be closed for about an hour when they just told me 30 minutes

Wish I could give ZERO stars - this is our 3rd time filling prescriptions at this location since moving and I have some advice … if you don’t like working with people GET ANOTHER JOB!! I’ve never been treated so rudely - the girl at the window literally THREW my prescription and credit card at me in the drive-thru (after hanging up on me 30 minutes earlier).I’ll pay cash instead of using our insurance next time so I can get orders filled anywhere but at this location.

Zero stars is more accurate. This pharmacy has known for years that it is the closest to SGMC and the only pharmacy open 24hours, so no excuses for constantly being out of medications. My nephew was discharged from hospital with prescriptions sent to this pharmacy. Went thru drive thru to check on status. Was told they were out of oxycodone which was fine, just wanted the ondansetron. Was told it was $160 without insurance filed. Ok. Told them I’d come back with insurance card. When I came back with insurance card I was told they were out of ondansetron as well. Waste of time. Had to call hospital back and now waiting for prescription to be filled elsewhere.

They have to be one of the worst pharmacy ever. We only have one in our city and the customer is no existing. I will be changing. I don’t care what my insurance company says. I will pay out of pocket.

Mary at the pharmacy, count your days as an employee, I hope you get fired on the spot for how rude you are to customers. We called about a RX for my son and when I say this was the rudest lady I’ve ever talked to in my life, I mean rude from the get go.

I had my family's rxs transferred here due to the convenience of the 24 hr drive thru. For the last 3 months, the drive through is closed after 6, resulting in patrons having to go inside the store. This has become an inconvenience due to my back pain. I would love to know why the drive thru is closed daily after 6 when it is supposed to be available.

This is the worst customer service i’ve ever experienced anywhere. I have tried to get a hold of the pharmacy for 3 hours and I keep getting put on hold and hung up on. The person at the front desk was also no help and continued to transfer me when I had repeatedly called telling her that I was not getting help and the call kept ending. She was rude and very quick to get me off the phone as if she didn’t want to listen to my concerns. This is why I usually use publix. This CVS should be shut down the way their costumer service is. This is outrageous.

First Impression: I came to drop off a script at 9am, Pharmacist didn’t acknowledge my presence, when I said something just to be sure, I received an attitude. Waited for hours for the script to be filled and waited on hold for 35 mins before speaking to someone.

My 5 y.o son had an infection. The night time crew was accommodating and apologized they didn’t have any the meds I needed in stock. They told me to find a pharmacy and have the prescription faxed. Next day I find a pharmacy and was told CVS takes long to fax, sometimes 24 hours. I called to see if I could expedite the process and the woman scolded me and said I am not to call her, but that they would call and she will handle it. We had to go in person to get the prescription from her and to take it in ourselves to another pharmacy. 24 hours may be convenient, but when you have workers who can’t sympathize and show empathy for other peoples needs, even with toddlers, I’d recommend saving your time and going elsewhere. I am not speaking over the entire crew. The employees I spoke with the night before were very nice and understanding. But sometimes it just takes one bad attitude to spoil it all. I’m not one to leave reviews either. It just hurt to see my son hurt, and this person made it hard for me to attend to his needs because they were on their high horse.

They lock me in the bathroom and you even need a passcode to go in the bathroom like it doesn’t make sense to me because why can’t you just walk in the bathroom?

Terrible place!!!! July 10th I was in the ER for anaphylatic shock. It was late in the night and dr sent in scripts for epipen and 4 pills of prednisone. Now July 12th, still waiting on prednisone to be filled. Plus, I'm told the epipens are not available till July 25th. I'm visiting from out of town. Won't be here at that time. Worthless pharmacy!!! I would give zero stars!!!

CVS - where you can NEVER get a human being on the telephone and their phone system is HORRIBLE. Fix your useless phones CVS, really, I avoid CVS when I can for this reason.

The male pharmacist is extremely rude. I hate that my medications even have to go though cvs because it’s always something. He likes to talk over people, he told me I didn’t have refills until I was able to finish saying what I had to say and saw that I did. Hung up in my face. Just unacceptable. I have very expensive medicine coming through cvs so I unfortunately have to use them but this is by far my worst experience.

Horrible. They don't communicate anything about your prescription. Had medicine out in for my daughter by an urgent care. They reviewed it but didn't fill it because it was something that can be purchased otc. Did they bother to mention this when I was there three times for the same thing? No.. I had to call the urgent care to find out what's going on with the medicine and they had to call the store... Thank you pharmacy for doing nothing...

When my medical coverage suddenly changed, I was left in a lurch without being able to afford prescriptions critical to my existence. CVS is the only pharmacy in town that carries my prescriptions in the brand form that my new coverage requires. It was a little bit of a hassle getting everything transferred from my previous pharmacy, but because of them - not CVS. The pharmacy I'd been going to for three years stalled me with incomplete information that held me up and kept me from getting my medicine for over a week. I had to miss work for an entire pay period as a result.CVS were the only ones in town who told me how to talk with new policy company to get them to fill my prescriptions quickly, and once they were ready, I had the convenience of going to pick them up 24/7 at my disposal. Living in a rural town post-COVID, I forgot how much I missed such a perk.In all fairness, the overnight staff could pay more attention to their phone when it rings. For that matter, the phone system and the manner in which it is answered at all hours of the day could probably do with an overhaul. But for the tech-savvy, their website gives adequate information and pharmacy alerts are available by text message. Additionally, their are retail savings at a competitive advantage to most other areas pharmacies. It's fast becoming my area favorite. To avoid having the phone system become an annoyance, get a pharmacist to help you set up prescription text alerts in-store if you're not technologically inclined. They're happy to do so.

The BAD:*Lack of Communication*Failure to admit their mistake*Pharmacists decides when to give RX*Careless*TOO many customers... busy & NOT enough working pharmacists.... (one person at pharmacy w/ 5 customers checking out, updating their phone #, etc., while in line & 25 minutes waiting...meanwhile one of the pharmacists walking around eating chips.....)The Good:*24 Hour Pharmacy??*Convenient LocationLong Version:Dropped prescription off 4/18/23, Medicine will be here tomorrow at 11AMCame back on 4/19/23 after 11......Medicine will be here at 3pmCame back at 3:40pm..................Told there's a lot of prescriptions from ER Now...........WAIT UNTIL you receive a message!!! She repeated herself 3x'sI'm sleepy, irritated, & feel an argument coming on!Not trying to be rude, but Why should I have to wait.....JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A SURGE OF RXs??? Honestly, that's NOT my problem! Maybe CVS needs to fix this! ...Hire more employees, Have better communication skills, etc.I repeated back to her, the 1st few sentences I wrote above....Seriously, the pharmacists or cashiers in the pharmacy playing games with people's LIVES!! OMG, what if someone needed an epi pen??! Please, please, DON'T go to CVS OR Publix Pharmacy......if you depend upon a medication!Yes, I chose CVS because I travel, 24 hour pharmacy...but honestly it doesn't even matter if it's 24 hours or not....because the technicians get to decide when it's convenient for them.....However, I've been waiting for a couple months for a call or text for XYWAV!! I Swear....if I didn't keep on them about my medicine today, I probably wouldn't of ever received it!Without my medicine, I CAN NOT DRIVE!!!!I hate telling the pharmacist how important it is for me to have my medicine.....it's not even about that really. I'm told a time, stick to what y'all tell me!! If it's inconvenient or changes, don't wait for me to arrive...PICK UP THE PHONE & CALL...TELL ME THE TIME HAS CHANGED!! DON'T WAIT FOR ME TO GET THERE, THEN TELL ME!!I guess the little business pharmacies are the ones to go to!

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I only gave the one star so I could leave this review. Customer service definitely isn’t non-existent, it’s atrocious!! More than three hours to fill a single prescription is absolutely ridiculous when they have at least 12 people working behind the counter. I would highly recommend switching to The Medicine Shoppe. They are wonderful over there, friendly & fast. CVS should close this store down or at the least re-train their staff to actually “do their job”!

If it's not one thing it's another with this pharmacy. If you have to call, you'll be waiting on hold for at least 45 minutes **or more**, rude staff, and i always have to have every prescription sent in by my doctors at least twice, sometimes more because it's "Not in the system" (and it's not just 1 doctor...it's all of them!). Now I've been waiting a week and a half for a prescription to come in and i was just informed no one ordered it and it might be another week! If you can go to another pharmacy, don't even bother with this one. It's just a headache every time you go in, and getting your meds is like pulling teeth.

They have the worst workers in the pharmacist very rude don’t give you time to finish the reason your calling. Been waiting on them to transfer a prescription for the past 4 days. They lie about transferring prescriptions never will not do business with this company again. My mom had to get admitted back in hospital due to the UNPROFESSIONAL WORKERS at CVS not transferring her prescriptions and still have not transferred them.Needs to be SHUT DOWN!!! Workers tooo busy trying to be cute instead of doing there jobs. Don’t call unless you want to be on hold for an hour or more.

The staff gives off the vibes of not wanting to be bothered. As soon as they noticed I'm a disabled veteran, the young lady's eyes rolled up in her head, she huffed and puffed. As she's putting in my prescription, she mentions that she doubts it'll accept my prescription. She was wrong and gave the impression of being disappointed about it. I hardly ever give bad reviews but, this was too much

The service at the local pharmacy is horrible. I received a notification on my CVS app that my medication was filled on 12/4/2020 and got a call from my Dr the same morning that the medication had been called in. I went to pharmacy on next day the pick up my medication 12/05/2020 to get it and was told the medication was not called in by the doctor’s office. I was then told I could be given 3 pills to get me through until the issue could be worked out on Monday with the doctors office. After going back and forth with Peggy for several minutes, the line backed up and several people were waiting. Peggy then asked me to leave and come back to get the 3 pills. Upon arriving at the store I was informed by Peggy that she attempted to call me to inform me that they did not have the medication in stock. This is unacceptable. Had I not gotten the message on the app that the medication was filled I could have reached back out to my doctor’s office prior to the office closure on Friday now I’m without my medication. Do better CVS. If anyone know how to contact cooperate please let me know.

I paid for a prescription to be delivered last sunday. That never happened in no fault of my own. Therefore, I had to go into CVS today to solve the problem. The store manager and the wonderful lady in the pharmacy are very helpful, apologized for the inconvenience and got me in my medication without any further payment needed thank you

Dropped off my sons prescription at 9:30PM. They told me it would be an hour so I took him home for bed. Next morning it still wasn't ready. I was in the drive through and they told me I had to go inside just to give them my sons insurance card which they should have had on file. They were holding his prescriptions in their hand but wouldn't give them to me. I had to leave because I couldn't stay inside for an hour while they were fussing with his insurance. Was finally able to go back that afternoon and get it through the drive through. No one ever apologized to me or told me what was going on. I will never use this pharmacy again. Just because it's 24hours doesn't mean they actually do anything at night time.

Bathrooms are under lock and key.I spend plenty of money for this corporation as well do others .Knocked on the door and needed to use the restroom. The lady in the back was rude as heck.Told me to wait.I waited for 5 minutes. She could have just let me use the men’s.Ridiculous.

If I could write this review without giving any stars I would. So disappointed in the quality of customer service. It took over a hour for me to just drop off my prescription and another two hours when I arrived to pick it up. When arriving to the window it took a whole hour for anyone to even greet me and take my name to even pull my medication. Then it took a hour to find my medication. No sorry for your wait, no we're backed up at the moment, nothing. This is at 10:30pm so they weren't very busy. Being open 24hours a day does not mean people have all day to wait on a prescription that has probably been filled hours before before being picked up. I will never use CVS pharmacy again!!! I rather pay for the medication out of pocket than to waste my time waiting on them just because they take my Medicaid.

I don’t leave bad feedback generally, but I was just told that my insurance was not valid(even though I have used it multiple times today and this week) and told I couldn’t pick up my prescriptions even though I picked some up the following day with no issue. I believe the insurance information was transcribed incorrectly but I wasn’t even given a moment to ask to verify anything. I tried to ask how much it would cost to pick it up myself the man gave me an attitude saying how would he know when he’s been on the phone the whole time and then he hung up. I understand jobs can be stressful and especially dealing with with insurance but this was just really uncalled for tonight and super frustrating. Poor customer service all and all.
