Always love shopping at my local DG! The manager, Wayne, is awesome, and takes keeping things on the shelves and out of the stock room seriously. The corporate office could do better with sending items needed on trucks, but regardless, it's always better than a 20 minute one way drive to Walmart for sure.

I left two FedEx packages there and they never scanned them and have not been picked up by FedEx and they never answered the telephone. You have to go there to deal with any problems because there are is no customer service anywhere with Dollar General

The employees are great..But the dollar store has gone up so high that some of there stuff is ridiculous.

I come here all the time. And yes between here and dollar tree I'm able to find what I'm looking for. And if they don't have it I ask one of the employees and they are almost certain if they don't have it in the back then they wait for the truck

I love having the convince....not having a grocery other than Mt.Vernon's grocery store(its a hit or miss kinda place.)DG sells there products much less. Now all we need is the D.G market place in here and we'd all be happy. Great staff, and The manager Wayne is always so helpful. Oh and now you can download the app. It works much easier, especially if you have to send your husband..lol he doesn't forget everything.

Staff and management is very helpful and kind, but unfortunately I dont think they have the power or authorization to make the changes that need to be addressed at this store. My name is Heather Johnson and I am founder of the Uvalda Community Beautification Fundraiser, a non-profit organization based here in our county that strives to help and push businesses and residents in our small town to beautify their places. I always consult with the Mayor of our town along with several council members on trying to find new ways to get cooperation from our local businesses. We have now Thankfully been successful in bringing the Uvalda Farm Festival back for now the third year. We know this brings in thousands of visitors, vendors, and revenue for all of our stores. And now that the Family Dollar store closed Dollar General is the only store here. I have mentioned the lights on the roadside sign and the light's on the store its self for well over two years to everyone who works for your company. Always with the response to be it's not up to them its corporates decision and call. Well corporate, I am asking that you please look into this matter asap. We are planning another festival in march, and we all shop at your store and spend our money with you store, but I feel like it's only fair and right that you fix all the lights and continue the upkeep of your store. Help us beautify our town by keeping your store nice and bright. Come Grow with us. I promise it will make a difference in your sales. Thank you for your time. Look forward to seeing the DOLLAR GENERAL shinning bright again!!!

The Cleanest and well stock Store...Walk in and went and found exactly what I came for and was check out by the friendly face... This place will be my Travel of 20 miles because of the Good Vibe and did I say how clean it is...😊

I dropped my wallet in the store in Uvalda, Ga. It had over 200.00 in it. That was my light bill money.when I went back a couple days later they returned my wallet with all my money inside. To me that was the greatest moment I had all year. Thanks alot

pretty cool place they have this nice little drainage ditch outside the place it's pretty cool.overall the store needs an overhaul to make it clean and a touch of modern tbh.

The dollar General store in vidalia on 1 street is always dirty and stock all over place but never on shelves...I quit going to it because of it and you stand in line forever to get checked out. No thanks

IF I COULD GIVE IT NO STARS I WOULD. THE WAY THEY HAVE THE PARKING LOT PLAYED OUT IS CRAZY. IT'S ALMOST GOT YOU BACKING RIGHT INTO ONE ANOTHER. STORE IS ALWAYS JUNKED UP. AND YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO WAIT ON SOMEONE TO CHECK YOU OUT.

Big variety Overstock but I love the Overstock cuz I can always go there and find what I need always when I can't find it at Walmart I can always go there
