We did the kayak adventure so we could float, paddle, and explore at our own pace, and we loved our experience! Everyone — from the woman in the office to the guy who launched us to the guy who took our life jackets — was so very kind and helpful.

Wow. What a great kayak rental shop! The staff were VERY friendly and fun. The woman who checked us in let us know where to go, what to see and how to work the tides. The kayaks were nice. The water was perfect and we saw TONS of dolphins - probably between 30-40. There were large shipping boats near by and the dolphins would surf the wake. We saw dolphins about 10 feet from our kayaks. So so so gorgeous!!!!!!!This was by far one of the coolest kayak adventures I’ve been on. I’d highly suggest it to anyone looking for a good, easy kayak experience.

I came here with my boyfriend for his birthday in April and it was a blast. The staff was extremely kind and professional. The price for a tandem kayak was excellent. The views and scenery was breathtaking. We kayaked near thy beach and then back through the creek for a little bit. So relaxing and fun. Can’t wait to go back and explore the creek some more. Definitely highly recommend, give these people all of your money!

I rented jet ski’s and it was extremely fun. They took us all out to an area in the bay that was not too busy and just let us go crazy.They of course trained us how to use them and what to do in an emergency. They also watched over us from a distance just in case you needed help.All the staff is very friendly and an enjoyment to be around. They clearly want you to have a great time.

Do NOT come here. Take the reviews seriously when you read customers’ reviews about this worthless company. They do not deserve a single star.Straight up got discriminated. Got told that I was not able to ride jet ski because of my deafness.At the window, to check in ‘cause I already had made reservations in the advance. I clearly made a gesture, pointing at my ears that I’m deaf.This short and black chubby clerk was NOT willing to communicate at all. He was vocally aggressive. I had to repeatedly tell this boy to communicate properly.It got bad enough that the one of customers back in the line, had relayed a fraction of what the black boy had said.I stood my ground right there and explained to this pea brained cashier that NOTHING about federal laws OR the company’s policy that prevents deaf people from doing so. There are deaf drivers and riders everywhere.According to insurance, Deaf people make better drivers than people with normal hearing.The guy was condescending and rude. I wasn’t having it. I demanded a refund. At the first, the guy would only give us the store credit. UM.. NOPE! Why the heck do I want the store from a store that just discriminated you? I demanded a FULL refund.Shout out to Tybee Island Police on ensuring that I got my refund back.The worst part is that I left the company a note in the advance. If they did not want a deaf driver, they could have email me and save everybody’s time.They FAILED that.Pictures provided. The paper photo is only a fraction of the whole conversation.

We had a GREAT time at Tybee Island Kayak & Jet Ski. It was my first time on a Jet Ski and from the experience I had at Tybee Island Kayak & Jet ski, it definitely will NOT be my last visit. In addition, the staff was nice and friendly. However, It was hard to understand the boundaries out on the water. The instructor had to remind us constantly where the cut off was which was annoying but it did show that they cared about our safety while we enjoy ourselves. Furthermore, we did have to wait for the instructor for forty-five minutes while he was out trying to find a guy that got lost on a Kayak. The manager did compensate us for the wait with two wonderful pictures on the Jet Ski. I would definitely recommend coming here while your on Tybee island and make sure you get a picture taken. The instructor takes really good pictures!

Easy place to make reservations online. We took the self guided tour and went into the marsh. Staff were super friendly and gave us some options. If you go past the boat dock they will come find you on jet skis to make sure you're not lost. Lots of bird life out there, but not much else. We were lucky to catch the tide both directions. If you choose the wrong way and need to fight the tide, you will be in for a brutal workout. Recommend trying them, you'll have fun.

The guides are good. The people are friendly. They make sure you are safe while Kayaking. The guided tour is a little lacking in content. We went to a sand bar to pick up shells and driftwood. Nothing to really see or do. The current was strong but the tour is not a genuine tour to speak of.

So good! What a fun time my wife and I had. Knowledgeable and safe staff and tour guides. We did the Cockspur Island tour in which you kayak to the lighthouse and explore it/the island, then on our way back we even got to see the dolphins close up!

The Jet Ski rental was an amazing time! You have to watch a safety video first but after that they let you go out and ride on your own for the hour. It was way better then an actual tour. We were also able to see several dolphins!

Super easy rental process. We rented a kayak and were on the water shortly after. We have never kayaked before so weren't really sure what to do, but they explained it for us. Absolutely great time and saw lots of dolphins! We sat in the water while they played around us.

Very fast friendly service. No appointment and we were in the water within 10 minutes. Saw 3 dolphins as soon as we were in the water. Very close. Had kayak for 4 hours. Got closer to dolphins then would've been possible on the dolphin tours. Would highly recommend, service was exceptional and price was great.

My husband and I rented jet skis here and had a blast! We were a bit nervous about some other reviews, but we experienced great customer service and a super friendly tour guide. Our instructor led us to the bay and let us ride around on our own for an hour. We had so much riding around. We saw tons of dolphins, which was an unexpected perk. We would definitely come here again!

I have been here at least 6 times and the staff was very friendly and helpful, but I was disappointed this last visit. My sister was kayaking for the first time. Things were going great but unfortunately 1hr and 30 min in she tipped over and struggled to get back on the kayak. Luckily we had some nice men who came and helped us. When my sister arrived back at the facility the workers main concern was not if my sister was okay but where the kayaks were. I was very disappointed. I hope that maybe a team meeting or something could be done in regards to safety and caring for your customers.

We had a great experience! My sister, parents and I went on 4 individual jetskis with plenty of room to drive fast and play and had a great time! We saw lots of dolphins jumping and swimming by our jetskis!! The staff were fabulous! It was my mom and sister's first time driving a pwc and they made them feel at ease with it and they had a great time. As long as you follow the rules, which are actually laws in the state of Georgia and completely reasonable, you will be fine. I even accidentally went outside the barrier and the guide got my attention and let me know very nicely where i had gone out of bounds, it was no big deal. We had the best time and highly recommend!

Had such an amazing time. The lady up front was super nice and told us the story behind their shirts which was her fur baby that she had lost. The guy that did our guide was super nice and very helpful with telling us where to go and how to operate the sea doo. Wanted to go again the next day because of the awesome experience we had but sadly they was booked up. Best time ever. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I used Tybee Jet Ski and loved it! We had a blast. We had no issues with rudeness as other reviews stated! We had Freddy (Freddie?) as our guide and could not have been happier! He was so kind and very informative and made sure we understood the rules so we would have a safe time. Our only disappointment was having to go back in as our time was up. We would highly recommend this place to go jet skiing or kayaking!! We will for sure use them again when we come back to visit!!

This was our first time kayaking in the ocean. When we came in to get information the lady was very nice and explained everything. The day of our adventure the gentleman walked us through all our boundary points and answered all our questions.

Some of these reviews left me skeptical but I’m glad we went. There were 8 of us on 4 jet skis. Our activity coordinators were B and Freddy. The rules people complain about in the reviews are totally reasonable and not hard to follow. I have PWC experience and was having fun with the powerful jet skis and never once was I told to calm down or anything, because I was following the rules! Stay away from others/boats, follow the directions they give you up front, and you will have no problems. It began storming pretty hard in the middle of our time slot and they tried their best to keep us out there. It ended up passing and we finished our time. You are limited to a specific area but it’s not small by any means and the water is calm, it’s not like riding in the full ocean. There was enough room to play around and do full speed runs even with all 6 jet skis that were out at once. Seems like the folks that have the negative reviews just didn’t want to follow the safety rules/laws which are not unreasonable requests.

We signed up for jet skis and when we arrived, the lady at the front desk found a problem with our reservation. Despite this, she readily accommodated us and ensured that we were taken care of. We decided to kayak also. All the staff were amazing and jet skiing and kayaking were a blast. You can pull up to see a lighthouse and also got to see numerous dolphins! Will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Did a 1 hour jet ski ride with my wife. Saw lots of dolphins. They make sure to keep you safe. I wish the boundaries would have been a little larger but I understand it becomes too hard to keep track of everyone. Overall would recommend.
