My family booked the Lighthouse and Dolphin rooms on short notice (just a few weeks out from our stay). We could not have been happier with the location, rooms, and service we received! We purposely wanted to stay on this side of Tybee Island so we could walk as much as possible, and it was the perfect location to do that. Less than a 10 min walk from the beach and lots of restaurants. We walked at all times of day and felt perfectly safe walking in the dark in this neighborhood. We loved the patios on our rooms, my son adored the little alcove where he slept and the mattress was one of the most comfortable ones I've ever slept on. I have Celiac disease and on our first morning one of the owners found me to ask specific questions about what I could and could not eat so I could have a safe meal. It was absolutely delicious both mornings and so appreciated. We will definitely stay here again for any future trips to Tybee Island!!!!

I’ve stayed at many B&Bs, and this is one of the best. Our hostess was absolutely wonderful. The cool old building was interesting without being annoying. The memory foam bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Lots of peace and quiet. We were delighted by the stunning front courtyard area under huge live oak trees. And of course, a great beach and good museums within walking distance. We are already planning to come back in a couple months.

Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful bed and breakfast located on the north end of Tybee in the historic Fort Screven district. The owners are amazing and treat their guests as family in a beautiful home away from home. We enjoyed the Captains Quarters with our kids. The room and accommodations were family friendly. Short walk or an even shorter bike ride to the beach & Sugar Shack. Steps to beautiful Jaycee Park and the Tybee Light House. This bed and breakfast has everything you need for a true laid back Tybee style vacation.

Given that hotels are not allowed on Tybee Island your only option is a B&B or VRBO. I'll tell you up front that I'm not a B&B person. With that said, this has a very homey feel to it. The folks who run it make you feel like they're welcoming you into their home. The repeat patrons who were there seemed like family. We had a nice breakfast in the morning. As far as our room.....it was extremely hot and no temperature control so we turned off the vents. The bed was super comfortable but the linens had a perfume scent to them. Not good for someone who needs a fragrance free environment.

My husband and I got married on 8/28/23 at Tybee Island Inn and it could not have been more perfect. Alyssa was incredibly helpful, explaining our options, and listening carefully to what we wanted to make sure everything turned out perfectly. We got married on the beach nearby where Alyssa had chosen a perfect spot among the dunes and had the reception in the picturesque courtyard at the inn. Zach performed a beautiful ceremony-short and sweet, but meaningful...it was exactly what we wanted. We stayed in the incredible Captain's Quarters, with an amazing copper tub and plenty of space. This room has two entrances, one to the outside, making it easy to bring in all of our wedding supplies. I can't say enough about Alyssa-she paid attention to every detail, making the most perfect bouquet for me and taking oodles of pictures that I can't wait to see. I am so happy we chose this place for our special day. Thank you, Alyssa, Zach, and Vasa for everything!!

Weekend getaway was a surprise for me and what a surprise! The Sunset Room, is not only pet friendly, but it’s small and cozy and just perfect for two! The daily breakfasts were out of this world and got our day going! The caretakers were such lovely hosts! We CANNOT wait to return - I hope they’ll let us come back! The initial photos I saw did not do justice. As I walked up on the porch it was a feeling of being at grandma house, just that welcoming and homey feel. I stayed in the Captain’s Quarters which I’ve shared photos of. The atmosphere was amazingly quiet & relaxing. Breakfast has been super good. I met several people while in the area who were friendly and suggested places to visit and eat. I took a get away for myself but do plan to reserve 2 rooms next time and bring the family. The beach is within walking distance and was not very crowded. Made it easy to read while soaking up the seaside

Very bad experience- they had a wedding party at the same night we were there which was very loud, the groom and bride were right at our door the whole time + When we asked for early checkout because of a family member being sickness with an infectious disease, they refused at the risk of keeping an infected person at their place. We lost all the money and we left the same day. It was a horrible experience, the customer service there was very poor. Don’t recommend it at all.

Very nice inn with interesting history of both the building and area. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable, with options for families of all sizes. The breakfast was very tasty and large, served at 9 am daily. The owners and staff are very friendly and have good inside information on activities and dining. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this beautiful B&B. Vasa, Chris, Alyssa & Zachary welcomed us & treated us royally! Every morning at 9:00 they serve a most delicious breakfast! It is within walking distance to the beach. The sunrise was beautiful! We made wonderful memories there & looking forward to going back. We met people who had been there 4 times & were making plans to come back in January.

Fantastic! Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!! The home is a vacation in itself. You are greeted with southern island charm and hospitality. There was fresh baked banana bread when we arrived. I could have eaten the whole loaf! Our plans were canceled so we hung out and walked the area around the house. There was plenty to keep us delightfully busy. Lighthouse, museums, park, trails, beach, ice cream, pralines, food, shopping...We took frequent breaks to sit at Tybee Island Inn and drink tea. In the evening there was made from scratch orange cake to go with the tea. Did I mention the fresh made coffee at 7:30 and breakfast at 9am? The owners and staff were very enjoyable. I am considering moving in permanently.

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway on Tybee Island, this is it. It is a historic inn that the owners are doing a great job at keeping up on. It is older but has a lot of charm. if you are looking for something new and updated, this is probably not it! It is located on the North side of the island, which we found to be a lot less busy. You can still walk everywhere or rent bikes from the inn, which we highly recommend. The beach is a couple blocks away. Breakfast was excellent. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience here and would love to come back.

We stayed 2 nights at this historic B&B and it was awesome and perfect. The court yard as you enter is beautiful and the inside is very warm and homie. This family owned and operated B&B is just minutes from the beach and they even have towels, chairs, sunscreen and beach bags for you to use free of charge. In the afternoon you never know what might show up in coffee area such as cookies or home made cake. The owners also provide ride share to the airport!

My beautiful wife and I were fortunate enough to be the first couple married at this gorgeous location in 2022! Not only is the Tybee Island Inn Bed and Breakfast visually stunning and breathtaking, the people who own it (Chris and Vesa) are two of the most genuine and caring people I have encountered in my 41 years of life! Their daughter in law, Alyssa, is a PHENOMENAL photographer who brought tears to our eyes when we received our wedding pictures! Their son in law, Zach, is as upbeat and funny as it gets! Even their dog, Brutus, was cute and warm and welcoming! The entire wedding experience was first class and I HIGHLY recommend this Inn to anyone looking for a wedding venue! The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast is AMAZING! We could not be happier that we chose to have our wedding at this incredible place! What a beautiful place to start out our beautiful journey together!

What a wonderful experience on Tybee Island because our stay at Tybee Island Inn Bed & Breakfast. Walking up to the front porch is like going back in time. Vasa and Chris were such a joy as host. Hot coffee was served every morning at 7:30. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and not your tiresome old eggs and bacon. Birthday cake was served to celebrate the birthdays and Anniversary that were lodging. Rooms are cute, clean and the sheets on the bed were absolutely amazing!I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

I stayed at the Tybee island in for labor day weekend, and can i say it was the most unwell kept place I have ever stayed. Walking up the stairs, you will come across MULTIPLE bugs & roaches. Me and my family stayed in the lighthouse room, we found multiple bugs in the tiniest bed.. the place looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while. The bathroom was extremely dirty and the toilet had dirt on the seat. While, that might be convincing enough, in front of this “bed and breakfast” is a rehab center, which is very creepy and scary to walk by at night or any other time of the day. The location of the place is very random and the owner of this Inn is never in sight.

This place was soooo beautiful. The yard is not only pretty but the fountain gives it a tranquil feeling. The house is charming and clean. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved all the amenities she offered. Breakfast was delicious...it was actually the best food I tasted on the island. I just wish the Inn Keeper was a tad warmer.

My husband and I stayed at this place, spur of the moment trip; I'd never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. Outside is a large garden with lots of plants, overhung by a magnificent oak tree covered with Spanish moss...so beautiful. It is located walking distance from the beach. Older property with lots of character, inviting and comfortable. The owner and staff were great...very accommodating. There are only 7 rooms so it's nice and quiet. Our suite had a whirlpool tub...loved it :) The owner had just purchased the property this month so, we were glad to be one of the first to meet him.

We went for our anniversary. The inn was very quiet and quaint. It was only a short walk to the beach and towels and chairs were provided. We had breakfast twice and it was delicious both times. Space was immaculate and vintage, which we loved! The owner/operator was kind and accommodating. We are looking forward to going back and taking our kids.

New owner Jeff is the nicest guy ever! We came for a last minute getaway after receiving some very bad medical news. Jeff and his Mom went out of their way to ensure our visit was exceptional on every level. The inn is lovely and quaint, with beautiful outdoor seating areas that are relaxing and private. We stayed in the lighthouse room with its own little balcony that was surrounded by spanish moss and ferns. We viewed several other rooms, and each has their own character and charm. The beach was a five minute walk away, and we thoroughly enjoyed the vast expanse of sand and surf that was unspoiled and sparsely populated.Breakfast was a delicious ham and cheese omelet served with fresh berries, and all the coffee, tea, or juice that you wanted. Our visit here far exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone wishing for a quiet, relaxing getaway in gorgeous scenery with full southern hospitality. Thank you so much Jeff and Christie!

Absolutely beautiful. No more than a 5 minute walk to the beach. I'm pretty late to reviewing this place (we were here over a year ago) but I constantly day dream about when I can return to the Tybee Island Inn. Only downside is the parking is a bit tight but everything else is so great I wouldn't take a star from it. There are umbrellas and beach towels offered and delicious breakfast. A wonderful place to forget your troubles for a while.

This place is so cool, very quaint, staff was amazing, the house and courtyard are amazing! They made our trip to Tybee Island extra special and it was so nice being within walking distance of the lighthouse, the battery, the theater, the beach and many places to eat. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to add some vintage southern charm to their trip. First class, top notch and quite a memory!! Thanks to the team at the Inn.

Beautiful house and great yard, quiet and relaxing, with shade always available under the massive oak. The location is great with easy walking access to many great things, including the better north island beach which is less crowded.Rooms are quiet and comfy, sheets are luxurious. Right off the bat we felt at home and free to come and go.Breakfast is fine. Both days was an egg casserole with a Mexican sort of flair and fresh diced fruit. Self serve mixed juice and coffee.

My wife and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. It was our first time at a B&B and we were pleasantly surprised. The owner, Jeff is very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area as he grew up here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very atmospheric. The location is quiet with beautiful HUGE oak trees shading the front yard. The gourmet breakfasts were different and amazing every morning. Iona and Gordon were super cordial and full of local and colorful informationThe location is in the middle of an old U.S. Army base (Fort Severin) which is adjacent to the historic Tybee Island lighthouse, and just a short drive to Fort Pulaski another important Civil War site and monument. On our last day, we made the short drive to old downtown Savannah and did the trolly tour.All-in-all it was an excellent trip and we look forward to returning.Great details! Anything else?

We absolutely love this place! We stayed for 2 nights. . Each morning Lee would serve as breakfast at a time we requested which was 830am each morning. The breakfast was always on point and delicious. The room we stayed in was beautiful, I believe it was called Savannah Beach. Lee said it was ok for me to check out the other rooms too, and they were all very well kept and beautiful. I love the garden outside and the little swing was my favorite place to hang out and relax for a bit. My boyfriend and I definitely recommend this place. And we'll come back next vacation
