Everyone is so friendly here and we felt welcomed immediately. Had lunch, fish and chips and half order of shrimp, both excellent even though shrimp was a bit spicy for us. Richie was our waiter and did a great job at being patient with us. Sat outside at bar top and ordered a drink to sip on and overlook the beautiful water. Danson, the bar tender helped guide us with excellent drinks in addition to being very personable with a great sense of humor. We learned more about Tybee in our discussion. Great food, great drinks, great service. Definitely will be back!

Food and service were amazing! Peach maragarita was delicious. The peel and eat shrimp were great and the cocktail sauce was incredible. My husband had the fish tacos with coconut rice and I had the blackened chicken burger. Both dishes were excellent. The key lime pie was served warm and was fantastic!

We ate here twice during our 2 day stay. Sandwiches were excellent. Fries were big and hot when they arrived. Enjoyed sitting on the deck the first visit. Due to weather we sat inside the second visit. Eli was one of the best servers I have had in a long time. Surf and turf dinner meal and fried green tomato sandwich pics.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu

Squid deserve better. There were a few plump shrimp. But what happened to the calamari? Way over fried, And I guess the cook used whatever was left in the bottom of a bag of frozen, breaded calamari and thought I wouldn't notice. There were no large, plump calamari. All tiny pieces with a ton of fried breading mingled with the overbreaded, over-fried calamari. I didn't send it back because I wanted to write this review and show you in pictures what I got. The calamari was dessicated. You can see on the fork how tiny they were (hence, bottom of the bag- Shame on you, cook!) I heard the burgers and fries are pretty good though. Management needs to fire their kitchen staff.

Raving about this place seems too extra because it’s just so laid back. It’s a comfortable atmosphere with relaxed employees without compromising service. After several visits, I find that I LOVE the quesadilla.. which seems “plain” but it’s a huge hit. The tortilla is superb, light and crunchy. The sauces are *chefs kiss* and give you an excuse to dip anything in them. Found myself dipping fries in the pesto, chipotle mayo AND honey butter for the pretzel like a wild animal. Their Korean bbq chicken and waffles is another absolute hit and their fish tacos with mango salsa are shining stars. Honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. Only negative I’ve ever experienced is being a little warm in the dead summer because obviously at the beach in the south + a patio door opening and closing = sweltering and a/c can only do so much.

This place was so cute and I am so excited to go in the summer! We ate out on the patio, and even though it was pitch black out, eating tacos and dri king a margarita while listening to the ocean is amazing! I got the T-Street tacos with Blackened fish and it was SO GOOD! I got a classic Margarita to go with it and it paired so well and would be perfect for any beach day. The best part is they have two restaurant cats that roam around on the patio with the guests! All around pretty good and a spotlight mention would be the coleslaw! It was wonderful(:

A friend and I had lunch there today and it was awesome! We had shrimp tacos, a side of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, and mango) and I had a spicy margarita. Everything was fresh and delicious! Our server, Beth, was fun and very efficient. Will be back again soon!Parking: There is a parking deck with quite a few spaces for diners (the rest is for hotel patrons). We ate lunch and then spent a couple of hours on the beach.

Hang on y’all this is going to take a minute. My friend picked The Deck for an early lunch. So I looked at the reviews. A lot of good and great reviews but a few poor reviews as well. One poor review was memorable. It was a complaint about the quantity of adult in the adult drinks. The review reply was memorable too. The reply suggested that if you were not happy with your drink all you had to do was ask that it be remedied. Well with that review in my back pocket I knew that my drink was going to be great. And It was just fine on the first try so I didn’t get to use The Reply. Oysters and fried shrimp were also up to speed. We were four happy campers. Bethany was our server and she was wonderful!

First of all, ELI is the man! Awesome service from this guy. I think we ordered everything he suggested and we were not disappointed. This was his last weekend at the Deck because he was transferring to the Collins Quarter in Savannah. So if you ever Dine at The Collins Quarter, ask for Eli! The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the drinks refreshing! We had a round of virgin daiquiris and pina coladas for the underage and some proper refreshments for the experienced folks at the table. The Legendary Bloody Mary was of course legendary! The spicy mango margarita was nice. I’m not much of a bloody Mary person but I could have had a couple of those Legendary Bloody Mary’s for my entree. Bacon, grilled shrimp, olives and pickled okra! That drink was exciting! But that’s what you get from a $20 drink. Around the table we had a fried Cobia sandwich, a shrimp burger, a deck burger, some fried shrimp, fried calamari, and a surf and surf. The Shrimp burger disappeared just as quickly as it came. I’m glad I happened to get a picture of it before it was devoured. The Surf and Surf was the special for the night and was definitely something special. All the food was great! Everyone departed with full bellies and big smiles! One of the best dining experiences in all of our travels and Eli was the composer that put it all together. Then we walked right out the back deck to enjoy a nice relax time on the beach. This was a memorable end to an evening at the beach.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat while on my visit to Tybee highly recommend. Love how bright the restaurant is and while we came at night I heard you can can see the ocean during the day. Tried two dishes and they were excellent. The lobster and shrimp roll and the shrimp burger. Let’s start with the lobster and shrimp roll it’s full of meat and the aioli is divine get more to dunk your fries. Now the true winner of the evening was the shrimp burger. It’s like a salmon patty or crab cake consistency but it’s meaty and sweet and tangy and an explosion of taste. Now this one was a bit messy to go in to bite into it but the taste outweighs all of that. This was my fave. Go with friends order different things so you can try different dishes.

I only have high compliments to share on service, food, beverages, and atmosphere.Parking: Parking is ground level, covered parking in a spread out building of different businesses. Went here while visiting the island and it was great. We started with the pretzel which come with a delicious honey butter and a cheese sauce. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and it was fantastic, my wife ordered the same and loved it as well. Kids had the chicken tenders and the quesedilla and ate it all which means it was good!! The service was great and everyone was very friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air as we ate. Would highly recommend The Deck when on Tybee Island

Drive past the few spots on your way in to the island, you won't regret it. Plentiful parking (look for signs in deck) but the food and service is what makes this place. Shrimp and lobster roll was 11/10 and I let the waiter talk me into it! Speaking of waiter, Eli is that dude. Great service is rare these days and Eli is better we than great. Peel and eat shrimp were on point. Margaritas slapping. Patio with ample shade and tunes to make the ambiance. This place knocked my socks off after a long drive in. Food was picture worthy I was just too hungry, great presentation.

The atmosphere is so beautiful. The waiter was friendly and did her job efficiently. The view of the beach and access is so convenient and soothing. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was seasoned well and the sauce was great. I would advise just to put the chicken on the side and sauce so that the sauce on chicken doesn’t over power the syrup to eat the waffle fully. I also had a pina colada which was awesome. All around great experience.

Amazing spot for great seafood and great views! Our server Eli was awesome: very welcoming and provided great recommendations. We stopped by for early dinner, and service was quick. We got two cocktails (Key Lime Martini and Pineapple Wipeout) and they were delicious! The fish tacos of the day were cobia and they were delicious with a nice green salsa and coconut rice. We ordered two daily specials as well—Grouper special with lemon sauce as well as the Lobster/shrimp rolls. They were both so yummy, would definitely order everything again.

We're here now and the food is really good, but the service is weirdly not good at all. The waitress is nice, but our order came out in three or four waves significantly far apart. Like one group finished, then the next set of food came out, and so on. And then when the food did come out, at least one meal in each wave was wrong, and not like slightly off, like entirely wrong. I don't know, it seems like the place could be good, and the food was really good, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Of all the food related places we visited on Tybee Island, The Deck was superior to them all. It's located at what appeared to be a former pool house in a comlex (I might be wrong), but it takes nothing from the experience. Parking is available on the ground level of the resort, and restaurant parking spots are clearly marked and in the shade. Follow posted decals to get to the restaurant after you park. The inside is quite big and spacious, and if you sit inside, you still have a view of the beach. We chose to sit outside. It was an extremely hot day, but they had a fan with spraying mist, and it was quite pleasant. First of all, this is the first place where we actually ate a good SALAD. The Wedge was absolutely delicious. We also tried the house specialty, the grilled grouper with veggies and coconut rice, as well as the calamari. Everything was cooked to perfection. From the drinks menu, we tried their non alcoholic frozen drinks, the pinacolada, and the mudslide, no complaints. They even made a coctail for my husband that wasn't on the menu after he told our server what his favorite coctail was. Just wow! Now, our server, Eli, was the cherry on top. The BEST server we have encountered EVER! Attentive, fast, funny, caring... can't say enough good things about this guy.. Whatever they are paying him, it's not enough. He is a walking and talking marketing for the place. We enjoyed his service and personality as much as the food. He is an experience in itself. If you ever go to Tybee Island, definitely visit The Deck. If you are lucky enough to get Eli, you've won the jackpot!

Me and my husband got married here in 2012 when it was Marlin Monroe’s. This was our first time back with it being a new restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised that everything looked the same but the food was SO much better than the previous restaurant. I had an amazing lobster roll, my husband got the catch of the day which was grouper and everyone else in our party enjoyed their food as well. Our sever Eli was super personable and nice and is the one who recommended the lobster roll to us.
