Excellent place to vacation!! It is quiet and relaxing. Beach is not crowded. Condos front the Savannah River and the ocean is just a short walk down the beach. It's great for small kids to play in the water. See dolphins and ships all day long. Great condos at Bay View Villas and Savannah Racquet Club. There are no lifeguards on this beach, but it is not crowded at all as we have stayed here 4 times and LOVE IT!!

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the condo. We were in Building B 212 which had a nice view of the North Beach. We saw tons of dolfhins every day from our balcony, along with beautiful sunsets, thunderstorms, cargo ships, Fighter jets and Coast Guard operations. Condos are a short walk to local favorites Huc-a-Poos and Tybean coffee shops. Condo was super clean and well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cold A/C, hot shower, and nice furnishings. We will most definitely stay here again.

My family and I visit every year via Tybee Vacation Rental. The grounds are always well kept with ample parking. My only issue is that our last visit we were on the third floor and the elevators were out of order. Lugging a weeks worth of luggage for 4 people up and down the stairs in 95 degree weather was not my favorite part of the trip. However all other attributes of the property were great. Its walking distance from the beach, and the pool was large enough for guest to have a nice swim and a kiddie pool for the little ones to splash around in.The property is gated which gives you a sense of privacy and ensures that the beach is never crowded.

Building A is far from being accessible to people with mobility issues! The HC parking and ramp are mid way down the bldg yet the elevator is at the end. There are steps to the elevator. This should be posted on all vacation rental disclosures. I would not recommend.

The location was perfect, I loved the gated community feel! The views are great and sunsets were beautiful. The beach is beautiful and quiet. It had a great family feel. The main pool needed updating, the concrete rim around the pool was chipping and cracking and it needed a good cleaning. But the pool overall was great, our family loved it. The laundry rooms need a change machine if they are going to charge 3$ in quarters only. The 1st floor laundry in the B building has a dispensary for soap and stuff, it took my money and there was something stuck in it, I got it out and it was old and dried up. But nothing that is going to keep us from coming back! We very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in B113, a unit right beside the pool and the water directly in front of us. The unit was great! We booked through a company where we also got a free bike rental and that was an excellent experience. Loved the location as we were able to bike wherever we wanted.The only thing about the club (NOT UNIT) in general is that the bike rack was overrun with bikes most of which look like they haven’t been used in a long time. The pool is older and should be resurfaced/tiled but I liked that there was a 1 1/2-2ft “kiddie” pool for our toddler. Finally the steps to the beach from the pool area were uneven and soft in a few places. I had to help my toddler up and down those.Overall, none of these things made such an impact that I would change my rating. We really enjoyed our stay and may very well book again for future stays.

This place was beautiful! You can see dolphins from your deck! Wow!! Room was very nice! Management went above and beyond for anything! I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!! It's a neat little town all businesses are locally owned and have a variety of food to try! A lot are in walking distance! Stay here! It definitely won't disappoint! We went for our honeymoon and plan on going back this spring or summer! We wouldn't stay anywhere else! Thank you Savannah beach Raquelt club for making our honeymoon so special !

It looks so nice here!! I absolutely love it, the condos are so nice and so is the pool! Then from the buildings, you have a straight walk to the beach that is very beautiful. Overall I love this spot, and would definitely come here again if given the chance. The buildings hallways are kind of creepy to be fair, but that can be said for a lot of places 🤣 but the inside of the rooms are wonderful. The little balconies are very nice and relaxing to sit on as well. I definitely enjoy it!! I recommend renting here if you are planning on visiting Tybee!!!

Dirty dishes. Units sleep 6, but they only allow one parking pass so make sure you own a SUV. However there are people here with two parking spots (one which is being used by their loud motorcycles- guy also rips them through the parking lot back and forth daily). Very particular community that seems to look over some people’s actions but choose to discriminate against others. Bike parking is also an issue. Racks were full so we had to park them to the side and we’re told to use the bike racks the next morning even though there was nowhere to park them when we arrived back at night time. Kind of just feels like we’re in elementary school at this point. Would recommend for elderly, but not very handicapped accessible. There is a ramp for the building but the walk from the ramp all the way to the elevator is too far. Our grandmother was mainly stuck in the room the entire time due to this. I also cannot seem to find an office to discuss these issues. If you want to have a good time, opt for a different place. I’ve never left a review like this, so it doesn’t feel right to do so but after all of the aggravation I think it is well deserved.

This place is old and outdated. walls are paper thin, you can hear neighbors above every step. There's a window in bedroom that is usually taped and faces the hallway. This makes it even noisier. The beach is close but water is dirty brown color. i truly don't get all 5 star reviews

I enjoyed my time on the island but I wouldn't stay here again. It had close access to the Beach which was a plus but the room we were in was small. But good for the price we paid. The door code was tricky at first which was very annoying after being hot and going up stairs with bags. I for sure enjoyed that it was private so there weren't a lot of people in the pool or on the beach at any time. Which was nice. This wasn't a bad place to stay but it for sure wasn't the best place I've stayed.

I wish I could give 5 stars. I would if I were only judging the room, but there are other things that tie in to the experience. The room is very comfortable, and considering the price of real estate in the area- it is also a very good price. I have been here now for almost half of my 9 day stay, and I will say that Joy with Natural Retreats is a very kind person. She communicates well.There was an issue here, beyond her control, the water in my building had to be turned off for about 5 hours. This would not be a major downfall in and of itself, but this was not the first nor the only issue.My first flag was immediately after entering the room, I read expectations from the property management SB&RC. I have travelled through multiple states with my family, and never have I seen any regulation that mentions children. It seems harmless, but it automatically told me that there are numerous people here who do not appreciate children. Which I have 3.My kids are not perfect, but they are not evil either. They know how to behave, especially when we are a guest somewhere and not in our own home. But, like all kids, they do play. And I will not stop them.The first day of being here, I could tell that there was somebody under our 2nd floor room. Which, I assumed would be the case. And I could also hear that there was somebody in the room next to us. No big deal. We leave to get food, come back and go to sleep. The 2nd day, we spent our day out on the island and came back around 7pm. We cooked dinner with the balcony door and window open, and then again went through the end of day rundown. As I went out on the balcony, I could hear that the person underneath was also out on their balcony as well. But then I heard them slam their door shut, stomp stomp, slam another door. Ok so they're upset, must of had a bad day. About an hour goes by, so now this is 10:30pm mind you, and there's a loud knock on our door. I was startled naturally, we were all laying down at that point. I open the door to find a couple characters who have made their way to these reviews already, Debra and Joe I believe. I open the door and I am asked "is everything alright?" As she tries to peer into the room around the door. Instinctively, I shut the door behind me as I said that yes everything was fine. She goes on to say that she got "calls" of loud noises, possibly yelling, and a lot of banging and they thought that maybe the kids were hurt. The whole time, Silent Bob is standing with his arms crossed as if I'm Ted Bundy. By this time, my youngest son had woken up and walked to the door to see what was going on. And that's when Debra bent down and put her finger over her lips, and shushed my kid.So like any good parent, I shut the door in her face.That's day 2.Day 3, that's when the water got shut off, at 8am for five hours. Thankfully, Joy at Natural Retreats gave me a heads up about that.From that point on, I had to choose between risking reprimand, or force my children to walk on egg shells during our vacation. So, unapologetically, I chose to take the risk and enjoy our time. After all, I did pay $1300 for nine days.

The room we stayed in was not at all as featured in the pictures. The room was cheap and extremely outdated. The carpet was old and smelled, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and appeared to have some sort of mold or dirt around it. The foldout bed was broken even though they had it listed as an amenity, but they did have an ez bed. The largest burner on the stove did not work, and a bug came crawling out when I attempted to use the stove. The vents appeared extremely dirty/moldy. The covers for the bed were stained and gross. Overall, we were disgusted and did not want to stay but we had no choice. I called the rental company for the unit and they were no help, just apologized. We left a day early. The HOA was annoying to say the least. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.

One bedroom condo. Stayed 9 days. Very clean, wonderful residents, 2 roomy swimming pools and 1kiddy pool. Well kept. Watched dolphins right off balcony. Great rates. Quiet. Beach wasn't congested on our side. Just great. Well kept. No problems of any kind. Pics was our sunset views from condo.

Stayed here for a couple days with my family. The condo we stayed in was renovated and nice, but the outside of this place is beat and worn. The carpets in the hallways are stained and coming up in areas. The railings are missing spindles on walkways.

So the only good thing about this place is the location. The apartment was dirty. There was food stuff in the silverware drawer. The floors were dirty. The toilet had fecal matter streeked across the bottom. The living room light and fan did not work. And they did not have extra toilet paper. I was left to wipe my bum with paper towels and had to go buy my own toilet paper. There was also hair in the shower drain. I believe the only thing that housekeeping did was replace the towels and dish rag.

Nice place, beach access on the inward facing side of the island. Can walk on the beach to north ocean side beach. We had noisy people upstairs. Love kids, but it sounded as if they were roller blading in their rm every morning at 0700.

The only positive about this location is the view from the shore during sunrise and sunset. The rooms are outdated and dirty. The smell or the water from the kitchen and bathroom faucet smells like straight sulfur. We contacted our rental management about the lack of toilet paper, bugs in our bathroom, and the other issues above.

My husband and I stayed at The Tybee Turtle Getaway by Matthew and Mike. The condo was extremely clean and had such a fun, tropical design. Matt and Mike ensured we had an experience that was no less than perfection. They had towels, toothpaste, extra tooth brushes, bug stray, beach chairs, coffee, and even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco waiting for us when we arrived. You could literally pack your bags with shorts and still have everything you need when you arrived. The location was fabulous, easy access to the pool and beach area. The pool area was extremely clean and well taken care of. The view from the condo was perfect. It was quiet and overlooked a portion of the beach/ocean. However, it was a short walk to our favorite restaurant, Huc-A-Poos where you can get a huge slice of pizza for five bucks while slipping on your favorite drink. We noticed Matt and Mike would often come into the pool area to ensure everyone was well and had everything they needed, even offered and provided pool toys to little ones visiting. It was such a joy to have them around. It wasn’t just a visit or place to stay but an experienced they offered that left my family with the BEST memories. Don’t wait, you have to book your next trip with them.

Beautiful location and not crowded. My kids loved that there weren't a lot of big waves and the dolphins. Downside: the manager and the lifeguard. They were constantly "on us" about the most minor things (it was not just us, many others had the same complaint when we were there). Overall, great place and my kids want to go back.

Had the worst experience at this vacation rental. Booked through Vebo apt 235. First apt didn't look as was advertised and apt infested with cockroaches. As we were suited they started crawling and walking on the floor. We looked around and found a bunch on them. Upon seeing all these roaches we were ready to drive back home. We called the rental and they said they would move us to another location. We accept to move and was a nightmare finding these location at midnight. Agent stayed on phone to direct us to location which was nice of her.This new location we were told was ocean from. However, when we got there it was not. It was better than the last one. But didn't have the ocean front patio like were told when offered the move. It was a distance to walk to the beach and not ocean front. There was no cable and just wifi.We sent the agent a text message about our displeasure and that decided to check out Saturday morning even though booked through Sunday. they ignored our message.When we called the agents twice and stopped answering our calls.We left that morning and still have not heard from them.We definitely world not recommend this location.

Rented 107A. The check-in and out was super fast and easy. Owner answered my only call immediately and was so kind didn't mind answering my questions. Which were just about local things ie: being allowed to smoke on the beach. Condo was beautiful and exactly as shown in pictures property manager was sweet. Everyone was great will be returning with kids. Went with just my fiance.

Our family of 4 have spent our last 2 week long vacations here. We stayed in A127 both times because it was so wonderful. This unit is a 1 bedroom with a fold out sofa bed. This condo is quiet, well lit parking, and is in a gated area. It is on the bay side, but this is perfect for smaller children. The pool and kids pool are well kept and perfect for our laid back family. We may have out grown the 1 bedroom, but truly enjoyed our 2 stays. We love Tybee!
