Pier 16 was an unexpected culinary delight! The presentation and menu selections were impressive! The potato/black bean sandwich was delicious, as were the other meals we had. It was so good, we visited twice! I would absolutely go back if we’re in the area again.Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for my dairy allergy.

We had a really bad experience here. We checked in for lunch on a week day, at 12:59. We got seated at 1:37. And didn't get our food until almost 3. When it came, it was disappointing. The salmon had no flavor, and the "salad" was just a huge plate of romaine lettuce. The fish and chips was *heavily* coated in a breading that made it taste like a crappy fast food chicken strip. The hush puppies were the highlight of the meal, those were incredible. The crab dip was decent but the fried pita was weird - either do pita or tortilla chips. My friend liked the strawberry salad.

There is limited parking and it costs to park. It cost about $4 an hour. There are several handicapped parking spaces. The restaurant has an upstairs deck and an outdoor seating area downstairs. The downstairs area of the restaurant is handicap accessible. The reception staff was friendly and welcoming. We were seated right away. Our server, Joseph, was there right away to take our drink order. He is very friendly and funny. He returned with our drinks quickly and took our meal order. I ordered the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The steak comes with two pads of herb butter. We ordered calamari for an appetizer. They were crisp with great taste and texture. The food arrived promptly and was still warm. The garlic and seasoning on the steak made it very delicious. It was tender and juicy with a minimum amount of fat. The mashed potatoes were creamy with a taste of garlic from the butter. The vegetables were firm but not hard. They taste like garlic broccoli. Our server checked back frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. All of the flavors and textures made for a fantastic meal. My son had crab legs, mussels, shrimp, and potatoes. He said they were awesome. I had a peanut butter and chocolate cake for dessert. They were moist with a good combination of peanut butter and chocolate. I liked that they were not excessively sweet. Enough for a sweet tooth but not a sugar rush. They also had key lime pie cake. I was told it was also very good. This was another very enjoyable lunch experience.Parking: All parking down by the pier is paid parking.Kid-friendliness: They have a very good kids menu.

Rating: Killah!My wife and I stopped here for lunch. Wow! Great food and service. Check out the pictures of our choices. I had a Fish combo platter and the wife had a Shrimp Boil. All were fantastic! Great service. Clean restrooms and comfortable, spacious dining area. My apologies for not taking pictures before taking a few bites. We were both super hungry and the food was fresh, hot, and smelled wonderful.

Everything here was perfect, it was my family and I second time coming here, it gets better & better each time . I had the pier 16 burger and by far it was the best burger I had in awhile it was delicious and cooked well done just as I requested. My wife loved the salad , we both also enjoyed and love the crab & shrimp dip, the alcohol beverage was great also . Lea was tremendous with the hospitality and her service. Food, service, & atmosphere was all excellent and exceeded expectations. Thank you, definitely will be returning. Perfect rating for me

Another great week to be in Savannah. Nice Temps and no crowds. Was able to vet seated without a wait on the top floor.Appitizer came out quickly, and by the time we finished it, our dinner arrived. I was a little disappointed in the serving size of the shrimp Poboy, but it was very good. Pita chips with the spinach dip great change from typical chips.Parking: Metered street parking until 8pm. Paid lots are available.

On super bowl Sunday, Pier16 was closing early but my friends and i did not know that when we stopped in for their espresso martini we were craving. The staff insisted we stay to get our drinks and made us feel very welcomed! Joseph, our bartender was so lovely and accommodating and made us hands down the best espresso martinis we’ve ever had! Service and staff at the Pier are top Tier!

My wife and I were on Tybee for 6 days and ate here 3 times! The food was excellent and everything seemed clean and fresh. Dakota and Taylor were awesome! Both were super friendly and personable. The two male bartenders (I don't remember their names, I'm sorry) were also very nice and attentive. The Island as a whole is great, so we'll definitely be back and Pier 16 will be one of our first dining stops.

Here is my review from Tybee Turtle Time Condo!Couldn’t resist treating myself to some amazing eats at Pier 16 on Tybee Island! 🌊 Their bone-in pork chops were already a favorite, but decided to go all out with their Filet this time – totally worth it! 🍽️😋 The Snow Crab 🦀 was a hit as well,… and this location is moving to the top of my list! Has two decks outdoor and indoor seating. Great food and great service. We were hungry and were served quickly. Our server was great. I had the fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. Rob had the fried seafood platter.I had the prickly pear margarita and Rob had the frozen strawberry Daiquiri. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and the strawberry goat cheese salad with glazed pecans and raspberry dressing. Enough food for three people. We loved it and will return.Vegetarian options: Strawberry salad is delicious.

Met some high school friends here! They highly recommended it and it did not disappoint! First of all our server Joseph is amazing, fun and extremely knowledgeable. Definitely one of the best we’ve ever had the honor of meeting. We started out with some drinks. I got the watermelon goodness. This was slightly sweet with a little tartness. Definitely refreshing. My wife got the expresso martini. This came highly recommended by everyone in our group. Now I’m not big into martinis but this thing was DELICIOUS! Nice rich coffee flavor. Our friends ordered fried green tomatoes, now we do food road trips and love trying them everywhere and Pier 16 has the best so far. Nice crisp coating, homemade remoulade sauce and that goat cheese puts it all together. The portion is huge! I may go back before I leave just for the fried green tomatoes. My wife got the crab topped with Mahi Mahi, which the group also highly recommended. Again, another amazing dish. Perfect combination with amazing flavors! And of course I had to try the Po boy, which I eat everywhere if they have them. It was good, not great. Definitely not mad I tried it. The remoulade sauce was delicious, needed more but I’m a condiment snob. Nice amount of pickles and the shrimp was cooked perfectly with a nice amount Only disappointed is mayonnaise is great on Po boys and they only have packets. Overall amazing food, but it was Joseph and his service that gave it 5 stars! Thank you!

I visited Pier 16 with my cousins bachelorette party and had an amazing experience. We had a party of 7 and no reservation and they went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect table. Completely unnecessary but so very kind and thoughtful. Our server, Savannah, was so nice and helpful. She gave us all amazing recommendations for appetizers, drinks and entrees. She also very kindly answered all of our questions about the island. All of the food was delicious! The shrimp and crab dip was phenomenal as well as the shrimp po’ boy. All of the bread was so good, from the pita for the dip to the roll to the bun for my cousins burger, we couldn’t get over the bread quality. Fantastic experience, highly recommend.

Do NOT miss out. PRIME cut steak was what brought us in but there is truly incredible variety on the menu. Our steaks were seares to perfection and could have been cut with a butter knife…. Simply perfect. We loved the oysters, fried green tomatoes, and all of our drinks. Rooftop seating was a treat that creates a perfect relaxation type ambience. Alex was everything you ask for in a server. She was so attentive even while being busy, knew the answers to all of our questions, and was genuinely friendly. The prices reflect the quality and you will not miss your money when you leave. This place needs more hype because we nearly missed it and it would have been such a shame.
