Inexpensive casual place to eat on Tybee. Kids, dogs, and large groups welcome. Seat yourself inside or on the huge deck covered by old sails. The food is pizza and sandwiches. Nothing too fancy, just satisfying food. Service was outstanding! Our server, Mike, seemed more of a friend than a waiter by the end of our meal. It's definitely a worthwhile and unique dining experience!

It’s a “dive bar” with excellent food!We sat at the bar, & talked with a couple locals. They all said try their pizza-& my husband ordered an entire pizza for himself - when he should’ve gotten a slice or two. Anyhow, that was delicious! I ordered a salad with grilled chicken & I have to say, it was one of the best grilled chicken I’ve had at a restaurant (get the house made Visalia onion dressing!). The bartender was friendly & the atmosphere is quirky. It’s definitely a must go place if you’re going to Tybee Island! Prices are very reasonable!Vegetarian options: SaladVeggie pizza (has cheese)

Tonight was our final night on Tybee and we had our final pizza for now. Tybee itself is the most amazing place and we will likely be back many many times to visit if not forever. A huge part of that is because of Huc A Poo’s. The staff is so chill and the vibe is perfect. And the pizza…. Well it’s quite simply the best. Back home we own a pizza food truck and have worked in the pizza industry for over 20 years and this pizza is something I will forever crave! We ate here 3 out of the 4 days we had here and that wasn’t enough! Prices are ridiculously good and the place is a gem. Thank you!

If you were a dive bar, this is where you would go to get your doctorate. Exudes atmosphere from every pore. The food, especially the pizza, is spectacular, and cheap too. An 18" pizza will set you back $20, with as many ingredients as you want! Chicken quesadilla was good too. Fast service and great prices at the bar. Very efficient, friendly staff, they can clearly do high volume. I'll bet it is nuts in the summer. If you're a beer lover, try the Classic City Lager. Incredible beer and incredible bar. Loved it instantly.

This review is strictly from a pizza POV. Being from CT we are spoiled with great pizza options so don’t set the bar too high when vacationing for pizza. The pizza was good, not great but definitely good for a “vacation” pizza. This place is a great dive bar and had I had a few more drinks I think the pizza would have been even better. Worth a try of your looking to switch things up from the typical seafood fare in the area

By far our favorite place on Tybee Island. The atmosphere was a blast and the pizza affordable, big and tasty! We ordered an entire pie half Honkey, half Oddessy. Yum! They had a great beer selection and warm fireplace surrounded by comfy seating, indoor/outdoor bars with large TVs, and the friendliest crowd! It gets busy but the service keeps up. Huc-a-poos Bites and Booze is not just a stop but a destination!

What a place! This was one of our highlights of our trip to Savannah. We were recommended this place from our Uber driver on the way to Tybee. This place is such a hole in the wall which makes it so unique. Don't expect the nicest views or cleanliness. Expect very nice locals, cheap/good pizza and drinks, and a fun place to hang out. They have a lot of seating and tvs to watch football or any sport. There's little shops outside in the parking lot that have local handmade goods. It's just a really cool spot.

The restaurant is a local Small business. There is plenty of parking but only 1 handicap parking space. The atmosphere is like an upscale biker bar with classic rock music. Album covers from the great bands of the time are used to decorate the ceiling. You can sit inside at tables or the bar. The outside seating is tables with table umbrellas. When the sun is being a pain, there is a canopy over the seating area to keep you cool. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The servers are fun, friendly and outgoing. Plenty of laughs every time we visit. Katelyn, our server, took our drink orders quickly. She is fantastic as always. We had 7 people at our table and she kept up with our drink refills and other requests. I chose the house salad and added gyros. The gyros salad doesn't have as many extra vegetables. The salad was large, crisp, and fresh. The Greek dressing makes the salad very tasty. The gyros are always juicy and tender. Our other order was a build your own pizza. All of their pizzas are family size. We had 5 different meats with just about all the veggies they have on the menu. There are so many toppings they fall off the pizza. The thin crust is a little soft and limp. The flavor and variety of toppings make up for the crust. The best part of the meal is you order the pizza and all the toppings you want come with the order. The idea is to socialize with friends or anyone else that's there. Our visits are always a great time. Just the place to unwind and forget your stress.Vegetarian options: With build your own, you can control what you eat.Parking: Gravel parking lot that gets muddy in places if it rains hard.Kid-friendliness: They have a catch rhe hook game on the outside. Sometimes, people put money on the hook for kids to win.

This place is totally awesome. It's a combination of inside and outside seating. Very family oriented and pet friendly. My daughter had the kids hotdog meal and my husband and I shared this huge pizza and salad. We loved the pizza better than the one we had in Savannah.Our waiter was extremely friendly. He even made us laugh by giving our daughter our meal ticket for her to "pay." Our waiter kept our drinks refilled and made sure our food was delicious.Parking is tight and limited and it's a very popular place.Kid-friendliness: Very kid oriented. My daughter loved it. She had the kids hotdog combo

EVERYONE we talked to on the Island recommended this place, so we made sure to stop in for drinks. The bartender was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was...well, very island, as in DGAF, but in a good way. So many people told us that this business really looks out for the community and the residents, so we felt obligated to go...we were not disappointed.

Pizza slices are huge! Really hot both inside and out, but that's to be expected at the beach. Giant fans were very helpful. Service was fantastic. Food was reasonably priced. Very crowded. No signage saying to seat yourself. We weren't sure what to do and had to flag someone down to ask. Tables fill up fast and there isn't really a waiting area where you can watch for one to open up. Overall would definitely eat there again if we are ever back in the area.

Good pizza, service, and an interesting place. The parking lot was dirt/gravel. We were disappointed the place was only moderately cooled, and we were hot coming off our bikes.The GPS led us down a dirt back road when there was a main entrance right off the highway.

This is a fun place on Tybee Island to grab lunch. I love the pizza by the slice option! One slice is like 3 regular slices. It is good, cheap pizza with a good beer list! It is super casual and the service is very good. When you are tired of fried seafood this is an excellent alternative!! Highly recommend! The red sauce is very good!

Cool down home joint, bus your own table when you see a free one, not a long wait, servers are super friendly, order some pizza, $5/slice, it’s huge, hot dog is amazing, wraps good, drinks good, make a top here and just enjoy yourself. 6 of us, each got a meal and two extra slices of pizza and cocktails, $60. Good, fast and cheap, again, get the hotdog. And bring a dollar bill or two.
