Souvenir shop that has a cooler of frozen bait and they have some artificial lures. The Funky fish that works there needs to have some self respect and learn boundaries and the appropriate way to dress when dealing with the public in a retail shop. Laughable and desperate.

It was a cute shop but the red head girl was RUDE. The other girl was nice but she followed me around like I was going to steal something. They had boys sitting behind the register. I’m not sure if they were workers or just hanging out. The red head girl even proceeded to follow me and my family as we left. Then she watched us until we got to our hotel. Pretty creepy. 😂When I checked out they asked for my ID. Which I understand that some shops do that if it’s over a certain amount. My mom checked out right after me and they did not check her ID. Worst customer service experience ever here.I honestly wish I would’ve spent my money elsewhere to support another shop. My advice. Don’t go here!!! ✌🏼

We were unsure of where to find a good selection for bait and tackle but this place came through. Only artificial bait though. Attaching two photos showing the entire bait and tackle selection at this location. Lots of other stuff aside, typical souvenir shop items.

Nice store, but no public bathrooms, even for customers, which actually sucks! They do have a few discount racks outside.

It's like all the other stores, lots of touristy items. We bought a few things for us and the grandkids. I liked the store, easy parking, reasonable prices. Here's the thing. The woman cashier was very unfriendly, almost to the point of leaving our items and taking our business elsewhere.

We visit Tybee a lot and we tried this store this time. I think it's our favorite. The 2 girls working were so helpful, polite and friendly. We bought alot and will be back very soon! A nice variety of items to. Thanks for the excellent customer service! Love the name too! 🤣

One of my favorite shops on the island. I purchase allot of their clearance $5 t shirts to wear to work and to play on the beach. They have a very well stocked inventory of all things Tybee!!!

Stopped here and they were 12 minutes from closing (which we werent aware of) and we had just shut our car doors and had an employee walk outside and let us know that. We went inside looking for a tshirt said we would be quick. After 5 minutes employee behind counter comes up and rudely saysladies you need to wrap it up the girls want to leave. Unbelievable..we were back in car by three minutes before their closing. Will not be back.

Really good place for beachwear needs. Was cleaner and more roomy than the competition, prices are about the same. I would shop here before any other beachwear store in Tybee.

I found several items that had family dollar stickers on them. They are buying cheap cheap stuff and selling at expensive prices. The employees watch you like you are going to steal these cheap dollar store items haha ... I didn't like it at all. There are so many great places to buy things on the island but this is not one of them.

Loved the place!! We randomly stopped there looking for a swimsuit for my daughter, did not find what we wanted but got a cute short in exchange and plenty of souvenirs. But what I really want to mention is how welcoming they were. Lucy was so nice to us and and her colleague( sorry, i was captivated I forgot to ask for his name) is so knowledgeable about the island history. He gave us a short but instructive overview of it.Great place, great people.

Should be ZERO ⭐️s. Had a horrible experience. We bought a 2 hats for our 13 yr old son and his friend. One of them was not in the youth section, but was a youth hat size and too small for our son. 5 minutes after we bought it, they would not let us return it. When we could not get any help from the employee (seen in the picture attached), we asked to talk with a manager. At this point, she started repeatedly yelling loudly “get out of my store”. She called my wife a “B..tch” in front of all customers in the store and our 13 yr. Old son and his friend. Obviously, she has no idea what customer service is and should not be working there.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming to us, despite previous customer reviews. The shop was right next to our hotel so we popped in multiple times during our stay to grab sweatshirts and sunscreen (it was late February when we visited so still quite chilly). They have a decent selection of trinkets and beachwear. All in all, it’s exactly what you would expect from a beach souvenir shop.

This place is great if you want to get racially profiled. My two items (sunscreen and shoes) were taken from me and placed at the front “for my convenience”, but no one else in the store was made to do this, including my WHITE husband. Never shopping here again. And I don’t recommend other people of color do either.

Me, my daughter, daughter in law and grandson went in at around 8:30 tonight and was greeted very rudely with we close in 10 mins. Signs said that they close at 9. Anyway we shopped for a few mins and when we went to check out the cashier was very rude and short with us. My grandson, who is 5, dropped his drink on accident and she was rude about it. She was a skinny dark haired girl. The other girl was nice. Anyway the dark haired girl acted like it was a big inconvenience to have to wait on us. That is no way to treat customers. I work in the food industry and I know how to treat my guests and that is definitely not the way to be.

This store was a great store. We were able to find beach shoes in all of our sizes. Plus there are a variety of everything a person can use or need on the beach. My first experience and I loved it! The prices are to be expected because it is on the beach.

The service definitely could have been better. I didn’t feel welcome in the store and the employees were not the best. We tried returning very over-priced water boards and they wouldn’t let us and they were rude about it. Would not come back nor recommend. We were trying to enjoy a nice vacation to the beach and this about ruined it. If I could, I would rate this 0 stars.

I never thought I’d write a review about a sovereign shop, but my husband & I received the best customer service we’ve had in a long time, that I just had to share our experience. We stopped here on our first night in town. The lady who runs this place is extremely warm & welcoming. My husband found a shirt he liked but instead of getting it while we were there on the first day, we delayed our trip home on the last day & waited for the shop to open so he could pick it up (husbands! Lol). Anyway, we brought the shirt to the register & the nice lady told us it was a lady’s shirt so we went back to look for the men’s in that design; no luck. Then the lady say “You know what, I’ll make it for you!”. Whhhhhhat? Who does that anymore? It was just a $15 shirt & nothing special about it in my opinion, but it made my husband happy. This lady warmed up her shirt press for a half hour just to make my husband the shirt he wanted. No one ever goes out of their way like that anymore. I’m not the type of tourist who is into gift shops, but we’ll definitely visit this one every time we stay in Tybee Island. Thanks nice lady! Wish I caught your name!!

Lots of typical beach stuff (clothes, gear, etc) plus a good amount of actual fishing gear - including bait. Great location if you're staying at Beachside Colony condos or DeSoto hotel as it's across the street. Not busy compared to downtown but you can get the same stuff at similar prices.

If you forgot some of your Beach gear at home this is the place to go! They have it all flip flops, coolers, shorts, shirts, sand toys, sunglasses you name it they have it. The prices are reasonable for being right on the beach kids really enjoy the store. They also have souvenir items such as t-shirts and coffee mugs.

The older lady working today with brown hair and bangs is awful. She is so rude. When you speak to her she will completely ignore you and act like customers are a huge inconvenience. We will not be back.

My husband and I went here and we were the only people of color at the time in this store and a lady made sure she put our things at the registers for convenience...then proceeded to walk with us while we looked for a few things. We knew it was time to go...sad but true in 2019 you still have to worry about where you spend your money. The younger staff was ok it was the older white lady. Then as we were in line she waited and tried to make small talk like we didn't know what she was doing. Never again will we spend a dime where people of color are made out to be thieves or can't afford to shop here.
