I recently had the pleasure of joining Captain Mike's Dolphin Adventures on Tybee Island, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we boarded the boat, the crew's friendly and knowledgeable demeanor set the tone for an amazing trip. Captain Mike himself was not only highly skilled in navigating the waters but also an excellent storyteller, sharing fascinating facts about the local ecosystem and the dolphins we eagerly awaited to see.The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a smooth ride even for those who might be prone to seasickness. We were lucky to have clear, sunny weather, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The highlight of the trip, of course, was the dolphins. We saw numerous pods, and they seemed to playfully interact with the boat, much to everyone's delight. It was evident that Captain Mike knew exactly where to go for the best viewing opportunities.What truly stood out was the respect the crew showed for the marine life and their environment. They emphasized the importance of sustainable tourism and ensured that our interactions with the dolphins were responsible and non-intrusive. We had the best time. Seen a ton of dolphins. The Captain and his mate were awesome. So much excitement. It was like WOW. Our family made so many memories. Just loved it. We can't wait to bring my mom in a couple of weeks.

We truly enjoyed the boat ride and got to see quite a few dolphins.The guide gave us lots of information about what we were seeing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The captain was very friendly too.Overall, it was wonderful way to spend part of our afternoon.

Captain Mike's is a MUST DO while visiting the Savannah area and Tybee Island! We was hundreds of dolphins 🐬! And our tour guide and boat Captain were awesome! Our ride was smooth and very informative! We were on the water for well over an hour and we saw 2 lighthouses! Only $25! A great deal for an amazing experience! Non-alcoholic drinks available on the boat as well!

Had a great tour! Capt. Eric & Eric (yes, both were named Eric, lol!) were awesome! They did a great job of finding & pointing out quite a few dolphins. We got to see dolphins chasing & hunting fish, breaching the water, come right up to the boat, & even had a few jump for us! My wife & I had a great time! Would definitely recommend Captain Mikes Dolphin Adventure Tours if you're anywhere near Tybee Island!

We went on a sunset tour over labor day weekend this year. The guide and the driver were personable, knowledgable and skilled. We stood along the front of the boat which was worrisome at first, but we're glad we did! The view was great and with free hw choppy waters, the ride was exciting. We had to have seen over 50 dolphins. We will definitely be taking friends and family with us next year. Side note: we do not recommend Coco's. It left a lot to be desired.

Absolutely the Best place for a dolphin tour! Spent the whole afternoon at this marina! They have a fantastic waterfront restaurant- best shrimp 🦐 right from their boats!! A really cool (and affordable) gift shop and jet skis too!!The Dolphin tour was AWESOME! Guides were so funny and made it fun and we saw so many dolphins! They jumped and played right by the boat. It was a beautiful boat ride and really an all around terrific experience on Tybee

This was recommended in Fodor’s travel guide and it did not disappoint. Captain Alfie and our tour guide, Eric, made our sunset cruise one to remember. Not only did we see loads of dolphins but the commentary from Eric kept us laughing and engaged!Recommend the sunset cruise for some A+ views to go with your dolphins!

I highly recommend this dolphin tour!!! BEST ON THE ISLAND!! My family went on the sunset tour!! We were surrounded by dolphins the entire time!! The sunset was AMAZING!! And the captain and crew were great, and very professional but laid back!!! Everyone on the boat had an amazing time!!!! Thank you very much for giving us memories to last a lifetime!!!!

Easy to get too. Captain mike was really nice and professional. The boat ride was smooth and his assistant had very good knowledge about the island and her surroundings. She was sweet and nice. I seen dolphins(a lot). The boat was very clean. Best money I spent while on Tybee Island. I would definitely come back again!

Booked the Sunset tour for Saturday evening. Had a great meal at CoCo's and boarded the boat. Staff was fun and engaging. Very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. Captain made sure that we saw TONS of dolphins and that everyone got a view. GREAT value, by far the best tour I've taken for the price! Lovely area and a perfect way to spend some time with the family having fun.

It was stunning! We saw multiple happy playful dolphins, and the captain and crew guy were fantastic ( and handsome)! Like the captain said; it is hard to capture a dolphin jumping on film, I tried, but I put my camera down to enjoy the ride and visuals, and listen to the guide.

We had captain E-Rock and Eric, they done amazing! We seen so many dolphins, the captain kept us right on top of them. They were informative too. We also enjoyed being able to stop into the restaurant and grabbing a drink to take with us on the boat. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Perfect ending to an enchanting evening. The sunset was breathtaking.Eric and James were amusing and well versed in their jobs.The boarding was just behind a quaint little beach spot; they make wonderful drinks and the seafood aroma was very enticing at Coco's Sunset Grille!Eric pointed out intriguing facts of the Island's history and was well informed.The dolphins were visible yet lazy on my cruise. They just didn't seem into the whole tour scene at all. I did enjoy the long line of massive cargo ships headed for port; they were amazing.My thanks go out to them for all of their service to us.The sunset was radiant!It was just a perfect cherry on top of the entire experience.I was a little uncomfortable with the close proximity of people on the cruise, yet all of us wore masks and tried safe distance and in open air.It was very affordable and a perfect end to an amazing day.Hope to see you again soon Cap'n Mike's.

We had a great time. The staff provided the best tour they were able to offer. As it turns out, we didn’t see any dolphins they weather was cold and we got wet. That said, we had fun! It’s Mother Nature, which no one is going to control.

The captains were great about pointing out dolphins and other sea life. The running commentary was entertaining. They did great with our group which consisted of a lot of young people. We were fortunate and got to see lots of dolphins, and even a manatee!

I took my 5 year old grand daughter to see dolphins on her first ever boat ride and she loved it! I did too. We saw so many dolphins! These guys know where to go. Be sure to listen closely, the mate is dang funny.

This was an a great way to end an amazing trip to the Savannah/Tybee island area. The sunset dolphin your literally had all the best of a sunset (see the photos) and seeing multiple pods of Dolphins that kept us company. The captain was very good at giving everyone a chance to see the dolphins and bring us around for some near perfect sunset photos. Worth every dime.

Absolutely wonderful!! We had 1st Mate Scott and Captain James as our guides. James is a great Captain and Scott is so knowledgeable of the area and full of humor. The dolphins didn't disappoint either. We will be returning. We had our 6yr old daughter with us too, she LOVED it!!!!

Absolutely amazing experience! 100% recommend to anyone and everyone including families. Such a great time with Captain Chip and I believe the other ones name is Eric. They even make circles to ensure everyone can see. The Sunset Session was so so beautiful. Definitely will go again next time we come to Tybee Island. Most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! Pictures don’t do it justice.

Captain Brian took us out on a nice tour of the local area. The tour guide spoke of local history and dolphin biology. We spotted a pod within about 10 or 15 minutes of leaving, including some juveniles. Nice extra was sunset pictures by the small light house near Fort Pulaski.

I went on the dolphin cruise at sunset with Anna and Captain Terrell. Highly recommend!!!! Anna was a great tour guide and very personable. The Captain was able to get us close to many dolphin pods and an excellent view of the Cockspur Lighthouse. A must see if in the area!

We were staying in a condo on Tybee and every day we could see the dolphins swimming and then we would see the tour boats go by and decided it would be fun to see them a little closer. And we are so glad we did!! Our tour guides were so great, the water was a little rocky but the driver did an amazing job with all the waves! It was our sons first time on a boat and he loved it, he was the youngest on the boat and everyone was so sweet to him!! There was so many dolphins swimming all around us one even did a few full jumps out of the water for us! A very cool and enjoyable experience!!

Fantastic experience, reasonable price, great peopleThoroughly enjoyed the dolphin tour with our two college-aged daughters, but this tour would be fantastic for kids of any age (must be old enough to stay seated and follow safety instructions). We saw so many dolphins – sometimes right alongside the boat – including mothers and babies. Captain and first mate moved the boat often to allow everyone to have a great view and gave interesting commentary about the animals and the area. Far exceeded our expectations for both experience and value. Be sure to read all their FAQs – lots of info. Tips appreciated, but also deserved.

If I could give this place a million stars I would. They were super cheap and it was worth every penny and so much more. They guarantee you see dolphins or the next trip is free. They entertain you the whole time. The accessibility getting on and off the boat was super easy. They definitely know how to bring the dolphins in. The boats are never crowded we had tons of room to move around. Be sure to tip the first mate cause he works for tips. He deserves it too. There’s a bucket located by the entrance/exit you put your tip in. Our tour lasted about 1.5 hours. My kids absolutely loved it too.
