Great location on quiet end of main drag. Great walkability. Clean room, very nice bathroom with soaking tub! The only issue's was the lack of an inside door mat, for wet shoes and feet as it was raining. Almost took a header o the slippery floor. Sheets we scratchy, maybe lack of fabric softener use? Bed comfortable. Window block in the main room, let's in too much light for our liking. We propped up an open oversized umbrella on the table in front of the window, which helped. A curtain here would block out street lights. Nice breakfast, staff, decor and grounds.

Once in a while you just fall into a magical place.. We literally booked our room randomly.Karen is absolutely amazing. A wonderful host. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. This was our first time at Tybee... We loved it more than we could say... Truly a wonderful stay...

This adorable B&B was home for a few days for a mother-daughter trip. The room was very clean and the clawfoot tub was adorable! There were complimentary beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, bikes, and coolers.Breakfast was included with our stay, if only served for one hour. There was an advertised coffee bar, but I was only able to get one espresso during our first breakfast. When I asked for a second shot, I was reminded there was a coffee pot in my room. =\ Breakfast day #2, the server did not know how to make espresso and gave me a coffee cup with a really watered down espresso shot.Despite being advertised as "the only hotel with a bar," the bar wasn't open during our stay (Monday-Wednesday).The front desk service was excellent. They allowed us to use the beach equipment before we checked in and after we checked out, and kept our luggage in their office.We would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect! They provided a warm welcome, comfortable and exceptionally clean room with a fridge/freezer combo which was a nice surprise!Beach towels, beach chairs and bikes are all provided for your enjoyment with no additional fee. The breakfast was delicious and you got a choice in what you ordered.There was fresh fruit and cookies plus rum punch and wine as an afternoon treat! They even have bottled water and a water filling station available until around 5 pm in the summer.There is coffee available 24 hours and we toured the spa but didn’t utilize it this trip. Hopefully next time!You’re about 1 block from the beach and close enough to the back river beach as well if you enjoy walking or riding bikes.Within walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, shops and bars. We rode out to The Deck restaurant and it was worth the ride as well.We absolutely loved the shutters on the windows, the rockers on the porch and the second floor corner location!Sunscreen and bug spray also provided along with an outdoor enclosed shower which also had a variety of pet and human soaps and shampoos for your use after time at the beach! Totally impressed with everything!We plan on staying again someday. Thank you Beachview for everything!

I absolutely enjoyed my week with the very friendly staff at Beachview Inn and Spa. The breakfasts were amazing with access to select drinks and snacks through the day which helped make my stay that much more enjoyable. I was able to completely relax and forget about work for the week while exploring everything Tybee and Savannah had to offer. Keep up the great work and I will definitely be booking another stay.Rooms: The room I was in was clean and comfortable with historic charm.Nearby activities: Tybee has a lot to offer from the Light station, museums and maritime science center as well as various water activities including Dolphin tours. There are many restaurants with in a short walk.Walkability: Tybee is very walkable although I did use my car to get to the Light station as it is at the other end of the island. Beachview is also great in that they have bicycles for use while staying with them which let me explore a little further and use my car less.Food & drinks: The freshly prepared breakfasts were always excellent along with the friendly greeting you got every morning from the staff. I enjoyed the Rum punch at the end of each day while sitting on the porch. I may have had a cookie or two as well :-)

We had a great weekend stay at Beachview Inn. The breakfast was wonderful, hosts so friendly, and took advantage of the salt cave and bikes available to tour the island. The location is perfect for an easy walk to the beach (everything you could need provided by Beachview) as well as many fun places to eat. We stayed in the Love Nest which had a lovely pool space to enjoy the sun and a quiet private space to sleep and relax. I’d definitely visit again and highly recommend.Walkability: Most things are within 0.5 miles, walking with beverages is encouraged for island vibes fun

We stayed in the owner's suite on the second floor of the "old" house (there's several buildings). Comfy bed, lovely second floor covered porch, "aggressively" friendly cat!Karen, her husband, "smokey", daughter Wendy, and others were soooo friendly and accommodating. Not beach front, but easy walking to the beach. Relaxed, clean, absolutely wonderful home cooked breakfasts! We got a rave recommendation for dinner our last night to try the Sundae Cafe - our best dinner on the island, where all the locals go... Wife had an amazing deep tissue massage - forgot her name, but she deserves a special shout out. We hope to visit again!Rooms: Large, clean, each is uniqueWalkability: Easy walking to the beach and a number of "ok" restaurantsFood & drinks: Absolutely fantastic home cooked breakfast

I picked Beachview at random and we planned to stay for just two days but we ended up staying much longer. The location is great. The rooms were clean. (We stayed in three different rooms while there.) BI&S provides beach chairs, bikes, and beach towels. The porches are great places just to sit a spell and chill out. They're serious about breakfast. But the thing that makes the place shine the most is the staff and owner (and her husband). They just go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Cannot recommend this place enough!! Our room was so clean, no sand anywhere, and smelled amazing! They provided beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, cooler, ice and even sunscreen!! And their breakfast at Beachview Inn was amazing. Everything detail about this place is just perfect! This was our first trip to Tybee and I’m thankful I booked Beachview Inn! Btw - the location is perfect too - one block from beach, shops and food!Rooms: Immaculate!Walkability: One block from beach, shops and foodFood & drinks: Breakfast was awesome! Cookies, juices, water, wine and rum punch was available 24 hours.

The Beechview inn far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean an the beds really comfortable. The breakfast were really good as well. Location is fabulous and there are so many great places to eat within walking distance. We will definitely be back.Rooms: The sheets on the bed.Nearby activities: Beach 1 block away as well as pier.Walkability: Location could not be better. Several great restaurants within a block or so of Inn.

Perfect location if you are looking for a short walk to the beach. We stayed in February, so still too cool for the beach, but we did enjoy the evening sunset. We chose the Tranquility room, and I loved the claw foot tub. French toast casserole at breakfast was delicious. Afternoon wine, rum punch, cookies, and pound cake were serve yourself. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.Rooms: We originally booked the room with the beautifully colored wall and then upgraded to another room to be able to control our own A/C. Both rooms were gorgeous.Nearby activities: Short drive to Fort Pulaski, Cockspur lighthouse, and Tybee Island lighthouse. 30 minute drive to Savannah Riverwalk.Walkability: Beach, restaurants, and shopping within a short 5 to 10 minute walk.

Beds and linens were exceptional and nights were very quiet - Ocean View is really a cold room (it gets all the AC ) and no heaters are available. Smoky was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us. Karen, the owner is one of a kind, but her personality and tendency to be brash can really turn some folks off. Beach access is super close - bikes, beach chairs and coolers to use, which was fantastic. Breakfast was ok. For the price, adding some high quality toiletries to the room, like bar soaps and lotions would really be a nice touch. We unfortunately won't be back.

This was our first trip to Tybee Island and the Beachview Inn & Spa is a large part of what made it such a success. Karen & team had *everything* we could have possibly needed to maximize our time on the island- beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, water bottles, coolers, etc. The rooms were SO clean and beautiful. The porch was serene and enjoyable. The breakfast was out of this world!! So delicious, amazing french toast & coffee! And the spa was so lovely! We loved the salt room- this was a first for me and it was so relaxing. All of the amenities are just top notch. But in the end- it truly is the people of Beachview Inn & Spa that make this such an incredible stay. We are already planning our return trip & can't wait to share Tybee and Beachview Inn with more friends!

Great place for a couples trip - rooms are clean. The breakfast was really good and free and they have free ice for your coolers beach towels etc - perfect place to stay you can walk to the beach and the strip. Really nice people!

We loved staying here! Came last minute and they got us in an open room. Not only was the receptionist nice and helpful, she showed us the best places to get food and activities going on that night, moved her own car to let us park in front of the cameras because we had dirt bikes in the truck bed, but also gave us a tour of the property and where we could find all of the amenities. They offer breakfast, beach chairs & beach towels, a cooler & ice and bicycles to ride around the island with your stay! Room was very clean and spacious! Better service than anywhere we’ve ever stayed! We’ll definitely be back!!!

This B&B is a delightful family ran inn. Everything is clean clean clean and very well maintained, from the grounds to the common area to the room. Being a very easy 1 block walk to the beach and just outside the "commercial" area, it is in a perfect location. Away from the bustle but within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants. A great little place for a few days of R&R.

The owner make us feel like it was home. We enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon happy hours. Our room was very clean, we had all the amenities in our room. We didn’t have to drive anywhere everything was within walking distance. We meet so many great people staying at the Inn. The beach was a short distance as well. Karen and Frank would check in to see if we needed anything, they were great host. Hope to be back in the future.

Where to start? I was elated to hear over the phone with Ms. Kelly that they still had a room available on short notice. When I arrived, I was greeted pleasantly and shown my room, and given a run down on all the things Beachview Inn & Spa has to offer. Ocean View is a cheery/sunny room on the second floor with a shared balcony and rocking chairs. It was quiet and peaceful with that antique architectural charm. The garden was just as remarkable, with delightful blooms and fragrances. The breakfast was delicious, with a small variety of options to choose from that were not overwhelming, and the atmosphere was delightfully easygoing. It was bittersweet having to leave that southern oasis! Thankful for the recharge and hopeful to visit again. Thank you, everyone, at Beachview Inn for a pleasant, welcoming stay.

A group of 6 of us booked time at the spa for a Saturday afternoon. The owner (maybe manager, sorry not sure exactly) was extremely friendly and accommodating. Loved the salt room. Their chairs are super comfortable compared to other rooms I've seen. We had our run of the spa and took full advantage of all of the offerings. They went out of their way to show us how each item worked and the benefits. If we had questions they immediately responded but for the most part, let us go from treatment to treatment on our own at our leisure. It was the perfect afternoon! The cost was extremely reasonable compared to other spas. I can't wait to get back!

Wendy is a most hospitable innkeeper. My husband and I enjoyed the Garden Suite during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the bed linens were top notch! A delicious made-to-order breakfast was offered each morning, and we both loved the coffee! The server at breakfast was so sweet and accommodating (sorry I don’t know her name!) We made use of the bikes provided during our stay and had a relaxing ride to see the Tybee Lighthouse. The inn is in a great location - close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else!

The Beachview Bed & Breakfast did a fabulous job hosting our wedding. The rooms are gorgeous and the food is delicious. Breakfast was amazing every day! Karen and Wendy were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. They were always able to answer my questions and make everything easy. Day of the wedding, there was rain and we had to change plans last minute. They worked so hard to make everything perfect and to make sure I didn’t have to worry about anything! I was able to enjoy every moment of my day, everything turned out beautifully, and I greatly appreciate all the effort they put in!

WONDERFUL!! We had the BEST stay at the Beachview Inn & Spa!The owners and their staff are so friendly and accommodating.The bed linens were top notch and the towels were super soft and absorbent. Our dog traveled with us and we stayed in one of their pet friendly cottages, the Love Shack which had a great kitchen area with fridge, microwave, keurig (fully stocked with a variety of coffee, sweetners, and cream) plus a toaster oven. Our room was spotless from top to bottom.The walk to Tybee Beach was about 5 minutes and just gorgeous. The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and safe.Breakfast is included and cooked fresh while we enjoyed coffee, fruit and juice.HIGHLY recommend and we will definitely be back.Thank you Frank, Karen and Wendy for making our stay awesome!Donna, Don and Willow ❤️

We stayed at the Beachview Inn and Spa on November 4th through the 6th. We booked the Presidential Suite and it was absolutely great. We were first greeted by Frank when we arrived a little after 5 on Nov. 4th. He was very inviting and gave us a small tour of where we would be staying. He told us about the breakfast menu for the next morning and all about his “blue” grits. And you better believe me when I tell you the Grits were delicious. They use fresh ingredients in whatever they fix you for breakfast. He showed us our room and Common Area and we were blown away. Even though there was an attached Coffee shop and breakfast dining area, in the Common area there was a Keurig coffee maker in case we wanted coffee anytime. The choices we well stocked and they had anything you could want for making a great cup of coffee. The common area was beautifully decorated for Christmas, like something out of the Hallmark Channel. The room was great also hardwood floors throughout with an attached bathroom which featured a claw foot tub and shower combo. The room had a king sized bed and even had a refrigerator which was great for me because I am a Type One Diabetic so I didn’t have to figure out where my insulin was going to go. The area was a block or two away from Tybrisa Street so not far to walk to the pier or downtown Tybee. They also offered free bicycles for guests to ride around Tybee and a shower to rinse off after coming back from the beach. We never used the spa but they had full spa packages available, maybe next time. But we will definitely be staying here again, the friendly staff and beautiful views from the porch is definitely worth the price of admission.

What a wonderful find! This is the perfect inn for Tybee island. Karen, Frank and Wendy were great hosts. The rooms were so clean and they have everything you need for a peaceful vacation. The breakfasts were excellent with a great selection and good coffee.We met several guests that return year after year and we see why! Hopefully we will be able to do the same. Thank you for the perfect winter getaway!

Beautifully restored buildings and rooms. Wonderful front porch with rocking chairs to relax and enjoy views. Breakfasts were excellent. Christian music played during breakfast was also an uplifting way to start our day. Owner, Karen and here daughter were fun, accommodating and excellent hosts. We look forward to our return.
