All in all, the vacation stay was a good experience. The pools were very nice and the beach access was awesome!The restaurant was a bit pricey in comparison to the quality of food and drink, but that is to be expected for a tourist location.Our condo was well kept and clean, so, no complaints there.It was about a 30 minute walk to the pier, restaurants, and some shopping from the condo, and there was plenty to do for the family.The lighthouse was interesting g to see, and I was able to get a few drone shots!

We have been coming to Tybee for 12 years. Beachside Colony is our favorite place to stay. Great views and close enough to walk to downtown.

The office staff was very polite and professional. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. As others in reviews have stated, always wear shoes in the condo otherwise your bare feet or socks will be disgustingly dirty! The bathrooms were decent, the parking was satisfactory, and beach access was pretty good!

Overall a good experience here. The location had a nice pool and the room was fairly clean. The floor was a bit dirty and would cause footprints in the shower from walking around. The A/C was nice and cold which did help on the hotter days. It was convenient to have a restaurant/bar near the pool. It wasn't super close to town but did have a fairly good access point to the beach.

We just arrived for the week. I'll add more at the end of our vacation. We had a great time. The weather was wonderful. From the picture, the view from our balcony was beautiful. We stayed at Beach House on the Dunes #444 in the Beachside Colony Resort. Each room in the three bedroom condo has king beds. The mattresses were not new but certainly not too soft or springs poking in our backs. The furniture was horribly uncomfortable, worn out and old. While we never stay inside, we do spend a while in the evenings after dinner either sitting on the balcony or relaxing inside with family and friends. Not a chance with these furnishings. The front two bedrooms never get dark enough to sleep well. The walkways must be lit at night. However, the blinds on the windows don't block out the light in those bedrooms, making it difficult to sleep.

We have stayed at Beachside Colony Resort twice and love it! The condos are nice and clean! The front office staff are always polite and helpful. The newly renovated pools are nice and very kid-friendly. The on-site restaurant has some delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend!

We came into an extremely clean and welcoming room. The pools were clean and the restaurant attached is one of the best in the area. My husband said his tacos were better than he's gotten in most other restaurants. I got the Cobia burger and it was delicious, fries are good too.

I loved staying here everything was close by to use we had room 314 so we were near the pool with easy access to the beach also loved that this place always pet friendly! We also loves the restaurant the deck that was right there on location to the food and drinks were awesome plus who doesn't like a bar poolside!

Our condo was super clean, but very noisy due to being right beside the pool. A man who works there would start moving lounge chairs around anywhere from 7 to 8 every morning. Woke up every day by this. People can't smoke in the pool area so they stand right beside our balcony & smoke. The condo would have been perfect if it had not been for the noise. It was ocean song 311. Beautiful view & path right to the beach.

Overall this was a good place to stay on Tybee and we'd likely return in the future.The resort is Oceanfront, and the unit we had was clean and up to date. The AC worked well, although there were times I wished it could have gone colder (70 is the lowest setting available). Outdoor patio was good, although the railings were cracked and rusted. The unit had some extra chairs, an umbrella and some beach toys - this would have been helpful to know beforehand when packing up for our trip.The onsite restaurant was a short walk; however, wait times were enough to discourage us from attempting to get dinner there. Staff at the restaurant was excellent.

The Beach Club is a nice place. Beautiful stained glass windows. Fun beach decorations throughout. Gorgeous kitchen and nicely stocked. Shower pressure is horrible!!! Beds rather hard and "bouncy". Small deck but comfy outside furniture. Pool heater was broken so we couldn't use the pool. Would probably stay at this location again but would try to book The Vue to have a better view of the sunrise and ocean/beach.

Booked based on advertising of heated pool. Pool was not heated. Desk staff said the parent company had been notified but nothing changed. One other guest said they complained as well earlier in the week and got the same response. Room was in need of a good cleaning, bed and linens were cheap. Have stayed in much nicer places for way less money. Guess since there are not may options at Tybee they don't have to worry about repeat customers.

This is our first time back in 2 years and man oh man is it amazing. The price was great. It wasn't crowded. Our room was beautiful 😍 I have been coming here since I was a child and it is awesome to bring my kids here now and carry on the tradition. I will tell you if you travel on the island to other stores or restaurants bring quarters and a lot of them. You have to pay for parking everywhere. Other than that this place is perfect

The gentleman at the front desk is AMAZING!!! So polite, so helpful, felt like we've known him forever! Only complaint was the sliding door to our balcony was so heavy it wouldn't stay on the track all the time. Place was clean, shower was HUGE, and pools looked great! Super close beach access too!! Gorgeous sunrises over the ocean!

We are staying here for the first time ever this week. The resort is very nice and clean. I love that the entry into the pools are gated and requires a code for entry. It definitely makes me feel safe with my kiddos, especially by the pool. We couldn't be more pleased!

The beds were awful and you hear everything around you even with the TV on. We were on the 2nd floor so we always had noises coming from above. The lady was nice in the office. However, two things for me to give one star are the beds and cleanliness. The rooms were very clean but the beds were hard, bumpy, and made squeaky noises with every move. If I can't sleep well then I can't enjoy my trips. Our backs hurt awfully after just two nights.Sleeping well and having clean rooms is what I rate my stay on. Not food or drinking places nearby nor just a good view.I didn't find any restaurant that was like oh my goodness I have to eat there again, overpriced food for okay taste, the shops were okay same ole stuff and you have to pay to park in most places.I was not impressed by Tybee at all.

Condo looks just like pictures. Limited amenities such as towel, blankets, no cushions for patio furniture. NO beach towels, sun screen. Lots of books, cards, and games. Toys for kids. Boogie boards (2) in closet. Hot tub was nice and clean. Easy beach access. Ours unit had NO view. Patio was large and private for sunning on second floor. Elevator made second floor access easy. NO pool lots of construction.

Love that it was on the beach it was very clean no bugs. The pools I wish were bigger and deeper also they do not provide enough towels also bath mats or rugs would be appreciated. Those floors are slick! However a big plus they provided us with beach gear like chairs and things. Great view!

The room is spacious and had a wonderfully stocked kitchen for cooking. Good location and great access to the beach, and the pools were all well kept and clean, and well heated. Pet friendly with easy access to stairs leading to the outdoors for potty areas, and pretty sound proof for our little yapper! My only problem is that the floors in our room were super dirty- had to wear socks or shoes indoors the entire time or your feet would come up black with residue and debris. There were assorted stains on the floor as well, that didn't come up with wiping or scrubbing. That issue aside, I can't really complain.

This place is amazing! My husband and kids loved it. The condo was great, clean and cozy! All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The pool area is spacious and kid friendly. Easy access to the beach with breathtaking views! Skip the search for other places to stay and the headache you'll get looking for a parking space. We are already planning our next trip out there... This time a few days longer!
