I booked the room through a third party travel app.for a Thursday night. We enjoyed the room so much that we went back to the app to book for Friday. I went to the front desk to check availability and suggested I pay them directly instead of the app. I asked the price and since it was the same as the app (135 including tax) I gave them my cc only to find out he charged my card 169. When I showed him the price that I would’ve paid online and asked him why I was charged he said it was because of taxes. He said he could not give me a refund that he would have to wait for the owners to come in and talk to them. When I went down later - there was another agent at the desk, she informed me that the owners were actually out of town, so I kind of felt like I was taken advantage of ripped off, and then lied to. Which is a shame because I really love the room perfect for adults and couples, wishing to have a romantic experience.

This place is great it's in the most amazing spot right by the shops and beach the ONLY criticism I have is that the house keeper clean the floors and the backs of the sink and I had to clean the board above the bed for spider webs and killed 3 baby spiders so the cleaners need to take the time to check things like this, we paid 291 dollars for a room we had to clean better, otherwise her tip envelope would have had a tip. The owner is so sweet and friendly and the rooms are great otherwise so this is still where I'll go for my next visit. These are small fixes and not worth missing out on this awesome stay!Nearby activities: There's tons to do nearby!Safety: I felt safe hereWalkability: Walk right to shopping center and the beach and food 😋Food & drinks: All around, you even some bars for when your having a fun type trip

I paid extra for the red room and is definitely not worth the price! I was extremely disappointed with the room. The room had excessive damage: holes in the walls, fire detector hanging from the ceiling, and hole on the balcony floor which felt like you would fall through. There are no curtains in the windows and the walls are paper thin so you could hear everything going on. There was hair on the sink and it was dusty. I did complain and nothing was changed. The hotel is located close to the beach and nearby restaurants and retail which was the only plus. If I would of known the red room was not as listed, I would not have purchased. Red room did have the pole and a jacuzzi tub which is awkwardly built for two. Red room is just a painted room, Not worth the price.

the hotel is about one block away in walking distance from the beach/pier, a few restaurants and stores so the location is very convenient. the customer service was pretty well! we spoke to a nice lady while checking in and she was very polite and even held a conversation with us while checking us in. the room itself wasn't horrible but i will say they need to do a bit more deep cleaning. it felt like it was just cleaned to look presentable and not really throughly cleaned. there was hair on the bathroom floor by the sink and while i was showering i noticed there was hair already in the shower and a nose ring from the previous guests... i felt dirtier after my shower than i did before i got in. i really wish the cleanliness was as well as the guest service because cleaning the rooms in between customers is a crucial step. on a more positive note i would like to stay here again in the future but only if i bring a couple cleaning supplies with me to do a thorough cleaning beforehand.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in in my life one TV in the living room that’s 10 inches now and not a TV in the bedroom the doors you can see through the doors room service no cleaning of the room you had to go ask for towels nobody come up to check in the morning no ice machine the couch feels like sitting on the floor is for the price I should’ve stayed in my car In my car the pic are false advertisement it would fool you don’t stay there

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little nervous about this hotel, but my friend booked it and it was only for one night so I decided to just go with it. We were pleasantly surprised. There was parking right outside the office, and they gave us a parking pass so we didn't have to pay for parking the whole weekend, which was awesome. I took a ton of cleaning supplies with us and to my surprise I didn't need any of them. We checked the beds & the entire room before we unloaded any of our stuff and everything was clean/ satisfactory. A previous guest had spilled something down the front of the minifridge & it hadn't been cleaned off... not a huge deal. The inside of the fridge & the microwave were clean. The toilet seat was in rough condition & could be replaced. We stayed in room 17. The only other thing that's not really a complaint, just an observation... black out curtains would go a loooooong way in improving the overall hotel experience. The windows just had blinds and these sheer see thru curtains that did absolutely nothing to block the light in the morning. Nothing was a deal breaker though, and we would absolutely stay here again. The location was amazing.

My husband and I stayed at this inn over memorial Day weekend.The location is absolutely incredible and a short walk to the beach and places you in a very central area of the island.When we arrive the room was rather sandy and smelled strongly of the ocean. We brushed off that concern. The bed however did have hair in it and sand. It was very obvious that sheets had not been cleaned and that their room definitely could have been cleaned better.We were told when we checked in that if the parking on the side of the building was full to park directly in front of the hotel. We were not informed however that the space is in front of the hotel were paid and not included with our hotel so we ended up with a parking ticket. The front office was apologetic and did offer to let us check out a parking pass because they had no more parking available, but we were still responsible for the parking ticket we received despite following hotel staff instructions to park out front.However the morning we were set to check out, we woke up to find dead roaches all around the room. There were easily five or six roaches dead in the space. At that point we were just ready to get out. There was a massive hole in the closet where we assumed the roaches came in through. Our room had been renovated, but the renovations were clearly done on a very frugal and incomplete budget.We'd accepted a no-frills budget inn, but would not be willing to stay there again. They were not significantly cheaper than anywhere else on the island and the cost of the parking ticket completely offset any savings we would have received. The experience may be different outside of busy season, but we are unwilling to test that.Walkability: Located 5 minute walk from the boardwalk, 4 minute walk to the breakfast club. Ideal location to visit shops and stores

Not sure how long current ownership has been there, but u think I lived across street from there in a duplex back in 1981,. They had a pool that was partially on our property so we were allowed to use it. The duplex neighbor kid and me were friends withe family owned hotel's blonde daughter and we would all play down at the beach and pool. Was good time to be a kid✌️

it’s a great place, with the kindest people! a cozy room so close to the beach, with parking, was more than we could’ve hoped for for our super last minute trip to tybee.the lock on the door to our room felt a little flimsy, as there was no deadbolt or chain lock, just the one on the knob..but we never felt unsafe, and really enjoyed our stay by the beach! we’ll definitely be back and stay at atlantis inn again for sure

So I booked this room last minute. No, I didn’t read reviews beforehand which I highly regret! The location is top notch! However that is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The kitchen has NO trash can at all. The kitchen cabinet fell off as I was searching for a trash can. The shower does NOT drain at all. The water pressure was cool but being above ankle deep in sandy water really isn’t my gig. The tenants in the room next to us raised hell the entire night and sounded as if they were remodeling the room. Once again no biggie. The guy at the front desk was pretty chill and super nice! Overall my stay was fine seeing as how I wanted to be near the beach🤷🏼‍♀️ With a little deep cleaning this hotel would be poppin!

Great location. That’s the best thing about this place. We decided to stay extra night last minute and condo was booked. Didn’t read reviews. BIG MISTAKE! Room 16 the tiles are missing in front of shower, (had it hid with a rug folded double)mattress and boxed springs are stained and nasty looking, and very uncomfortable. Plugged I phone charger and sparks flew. Walking up to the room the walk way was buckled, and I stumbled. I have read where the manger comments and apologizes, but don’t appear to be getting any better. Definitely will be my last time.

We came here for New Years and it’s a great location within walking distance to everything local especially the strip around the corner. However, our room was filthy. The walls looked like they hadn’t been washed or cleaned since 1974. Everything in the room just looked dirty even the lamp shade, the chairs, the headboard. If you’re literally just staying here to sleep it’s ok I guess we were out about 95% of the time so yeah great price, great location, disgusting room. You get what you pay for.

I really was hesitant to give a really good rating on Atlantis just because I was being selfish and didn't want it to start becoming overbooked or cramped but I must say the truth, I love this place! You can't beat the location on tybee it's right by everything and the staff is always so nice and kind everytime we come here. We just came for the 4th of July and we got the ground floor room right next to tybrisa. We had such a good experience the whole day we are going to start making this an every year tradition. Thank you Atlantis Inn. You Rock!!

Our stay???!!!! Hahaha. Well that’s just it we didn’t stay. We were planning on staying at Atlantis Inn on Tybee island for 3 nights and we didn’t even stay one. This place was absolutely disgusting. It appeared that the room had not been cleaned in a very long time. There was sand and dust everywhere. There were stains on the couch which made me weary to sit on it or let my children sit on it. There were several holes punched in the walls. The bathroom was filthy. To top it all off there was a half eaten molded beef jerky stick in one of the drawers. Don’t waste your time or money. The pictures online are a lie. When we went to tell the lady at the counter how bad the room was she told us that it was the best room they had😂😂😂

I just wanted a quiet clean place to stay the weekend. It was very dirty although the maid was called back to our room to dust a lamp shades that had not been cleaned for a year or two and to dust the cobwebs off the pictures and ceiling. It was way too much money for what you get. Please be aware. My husband booked before I read reviews on google.

The hotel's location was great. It was within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bars.That is where the greatness ends. It didn't appear the room was cleaned in awhile. The floor was dirty and extremely slippery especially when wet.It rained every afternoon. However, where our room was located, the water was almost to our room door. We couldn't get out of our room. When we attempted to go out, we were ankle deep in dirty water. Good thing we had a high sitting SUV.We decided to leave a day early. Thankfully, we were not charged for that night.

The location was perfect. Staff were fairly decent and the room was pretty clean. However, the water pressure was horrible. It took us 30 plus minutes to take a shower. There was brown water coming out of the sink faucet, a huge chunk of tile missing in the bathroom, and I didn’t really feel safe with not having an actually lock on the door. There was only a chain lock that could’ve been easily kicked down if needed to. I also seen a few bugs in the room, looked like baby roaches. If the place had a few remodeling, it would be perfect!

My husband and I booked the red room for 2 nights, for our anniversary January 28, 2022. Location is the ONLY thing this place has going for it. The room was disgusting! There was a indoor door, for outdoor. It stayed freezing, weird people hung out all around the hotel. No wonder you cannot find any pictures of this place, they don't want you to see it. When waking up on night 1 I noticed walking into the bathroom a cold draft. Come to find out the window was broke. We didn't stay another night, we lost the money and came home. DON'T DO IT!

Absolutely loved the price, staff, how close it was to everything, and how small the overall hotel was. It had an adorable theme in each room. A good breakfast, great WiFi, nice TV and mini fridge in our room. However, there are some updates that our room needed (a better working sink, a toilet paper holder-very minor), the bed wasn't super comfortable, and I would say it needs some deep cleaning. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I will stay again!! The price and staff made our trip very enjoyable.

The hot tub actually had a dirt ring around the top. It was crusty looking. You couldn't have paid me to get in it. There was dust all over the fake plants. No water pressure and the parking was horrendous. Don't let the pictures posted fool you into thinking this was a decent place to stay. The only thing decent about it was the location!!

· The room was not clean. The bedding smelt unwashed and the toilet had a lot of black residue inside. The shower had no hot water and the bathtub was not clean on top of the bath tub water ran terribly slow. The sink barely worked. My room felt more like a penitentiary instead of a penthouse suite. How ever I never get to take vacation and the was only a day trip so I tried to be very nice about the whole situation and was even nice to the desk host about how Terrible the room was and she stated that she would speak with the manager about a partial refund and I have not heard from anyone and it’s just really disappointing because the room has potential to be very lovely and the location is just as lovely but the room is not equipped for any guest AT ALL

I liked this charming hotel and thought the man working the desk was very friendly. My husband was not thrilled at how thin and fragile the door to the room was. It seemed like it was an old building that had been modernized, but the work was cheaply done. It was close to the beach and the rate was fair for what it was. No free breakfast here.

My husband and I stayed here for the past week and we loved it! Cute, clean room, short walk to the beach and multiple shops and restaurants nearby. We were offered fresh, clean towels daily and half way through our stay we came back to a vacuumed room and fresh sheets! (Which was awesome because ofAll the sand you accumulate at the beach!) We would definitely stay here again.

I loved how close it was to the beach. It was too many strings of hair that didn't belong to me in the shower. I thought I was booking the last room with a hot tub in it but after making my payment the picture of the hot tub disappeared lol. However, with the price I should have known that was too good to be true. I itched while in bed so I asked housekeeping for more sheets and was told because I checked in the day before I couldn't get fresh linen. Even with those small things tho the rest off the staff were friendly and the woman that check me in was a doll.
