A good friend told me about this place and I'm so glad he did. This place is awesome. Has a great selection of quality furniture with some antiques as well. Prices were lower than expected. Found a perfect chest of drawers for my daughters new home. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My wheelchair motors went out. They were not able to fix it but were able to provide me another one to get around. It's not the most comfortable wheelchair but I'm able to move about my home. The customer

We have been very pleased at the excellent quality of the items purchased in the Thrift store. We are happy to support the FODAC effort to help the disabled.

FODAC (friends of disabled adults and children) organization should be given a golden star! They are filling a nation wide need of handicap equipment for the people without the means to get the equipment themselves due to financial difficulties! While the thrift store might have some beautiful things that are not bargains, ALL the money stays with them to support the free or nearly free things they give away to the needy....— the photos I’ve added show some of the HEquipment types they in most cases “give away” — NOT in the QUALITY THRIFT STORE: but out of the front office, which action, I’ve mentioned, is supported by the thrift store AND DIRECT donations of money and equipment.

Non-profit that helps disabled adults and children. They accept monetary donations as well as household items, sports gear, medical supplies, medical equipment, clothing, and shoes.

I love what FODAC has to offer. Got my grandmother a hospital bed and Chair for pennies on the dollar. Great place to buy hospital equipment at a fraction of the cost.

FODAC is a fantastic place. They have the best helpful items like willchars, all different types of walkers, and hospital beds. And you only have to pay $25.00 to become a member. They are very friendly people there to help you with your needs. If they don't have what you need, they will take your number and call you when they get what you are looking for.

FODAC!! Great facility. This place is an amazing thrift store! Better than that, their name means “Friends of Disabled Adults & Children. When we were in Atlanta in 2019, they gave me a Shower chair. The membership for receiving medical equipment for free or a reduced price is a one time fee of $25. Such a worthwhile organization to visit & donate to. They have helped many people that we’ve talked to. The only thing I’ve heard that they rent out is the big fat tire wheelchairs for the beach. Who needs one of those for everyday use in Atlanta anyway?

Love the place. It is a treasure hunt! Good furniture in very affordable prices. Clothes, novelties, books, DVDs, the list goes on. There are arrows on the aisles to prevent face-to-face encounters. Masks are required. Such a treat!Give them a try!

I really like the company’s mission, but they are so poorly managed that I can’t recommend supporting this place right now.

We experienced very nice/helpful people working there. We were just told that day about them by my daughter's occupational therapist. You must know what you are looking for before you go, there is no showroom to look @ things. The $25 fee to register there is well worth it. We did find an item that she needed. We will for sure check back again if necessary.

I go to a lot of thrift stores and this has the highest prices. Things like glassware and anything that looks vaguely collectible is ridiculously expensive. I've been a couple of times hoping to find something, but I certainly won't ever find a deal in there. The stock is not really refreshed because they probably aren't selling the items because of the price. The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because it is really organized.

Great service to community. Wonderful professional staff. Even the guys and gals serving out their community service there were very pleasant. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for anything from home furnishings to musical instruments or mobile chairs. They got what you need and a lot of what you want for the low.

So here's the deal. I found some amazing things here today (my first visit) and the prices were great. That said, I'm giving 3 stars because of my experience at the front counter. While one kind gentleman was busy ringing me up and trying to box up all my purchases...there's Fred or Frank or whatever his name is having a loud, obviously personal phone call. Now, I don't mind personal calls...its not really my business. What is my business however is when Fred/Frank thinks its appropriate during that phone call to make joking references to "REAL, RAW SEX". Now, again...you want to discuss "real, raw sex" be my guest. However, the front desk, at work isn't really the place. All the women lining up behind me (while Fred/Frank is busy NOT helping the man actually working) probably didn't want to hear it either. I know he's an old, white man and so he's been conditioned that its okay to take up as much space as he likes with no regards to others...but its 2019 and that just don't fly anymore. Keep your convos to yourself or in your living room...not in a public space. I am not sure I will return despite the good finds.

If you are disabled or know someone that is, they have items that you can purchase at affordable prices. It's a good idea to call ahead to find out if they have the item or items that you are looking for. I was able to purchase a Rolator Walker for $25!They also offer repair service for Electric Handicap Scooters and Wheelchairs. The staff is very nice and helpful. They took their time to make sure that my Walker was adjusted to my height, the brakes worked. I was very happy to get one that I could use it on gravel, sand, and lawn surfaces!I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.I will be shopping there again!

Great company for taking in medical equipment for the needy for charity. It's the "charity" part they seem to have a problem with. They rent out the medical equipment to the needy, but the needy patient has to pay for it. Which makes it, that's right, not a charity, a business. Anybody in here ever asked them for any type of charity? They are really good at taking the un-taxable money in from donations, not good at anything else.

This is a great place to shop. They sell refurbished computers cheap and some older tvs. We buy books and movies for our family. The clothing is in great shape and very reasonable. They help disabled adults and kids.

This is a wonderful organization. I have used them on two other occasions and gave back to them on two different occasions. Thank goodness we have people who will dedicate their time to run it and many, many more who have been willing to donate to keep it going.

Fodac is the place to donate to and buy from. It's a great cause. They've helped me allot. Got lift for my van, adjustable bed wheelchair, walker both for myself and foster kids. I love giving back by donating things to them, including items they've given me once I no longer need them.
